@9NewsMelb No thanks. Cashless means there is no redundant fallback when systems fail. Recently, Telstra outage in Byron Bay meant most shops couldn't do EFT/Credit transactions - only cash. Cash is not affected by power/comms outage or hacking.

@Telstra It's actually insane that a Telstra agent can manage to cancel the wrong account, despite being told the correct account number to cancel MULTIPLE TIMES on the call, and NEVER being told the account number she actually cancelled. And then 3 days for reconnect. FIX THIS

@thespecialbka Telstra let Mullumbimby down - for an entire week when our town was in the heaviest crises - flooded - with people trapped in the hills, mudslides, roads washed out, when this town was in dire need to connect - we had nothing - no internet, no phones

So one major stock pick that continues to work out for me is $ABB. Why? 1. I used it for years, great service 2. It's "new", the old guard is Telstra, and they need to be supplanted. 3. In lockdowns, what do people use? -> internet. Like, think about it.

@Telstra it seems like the whole of Australia has problems with Telstra. I see on the complaints site and my problems is not alone. So in thinking about it. Is the whole of the 5g network has become a failure and we all paying for a system that not working.
