@DanSims @Telstra I rang both his local office and his office in Canberra and left them a message. No swearing. But very direct. Felt good. Might ring again during work hrs to speak to someone in person. Such a piece of ****.

The process was to order the replacement service at the house for settlement date. I was not allowed to order 6-months in advance. So I ordered 3 weeks in advance. There are 2 existing NBN services there, and when ordering from Telstra, although it took 2.5 hours to complete 1/2

@Telstra Perhaps clarify with the family why, for YEARS, nobody made sure an elder was not supported to have the best fit service for their needs at the lowest cost. And full reparations have not been made for the error.

@Telstra My elderly mother had to get a new sim card for her mobile phone. She rang Telstra last Thursday (28/8) to activate it, was told it would take 24-48 hours. 5 days later and it's still not activated. Cannot think of a company with poorer customer service. #telstra

@jriewolod @Telstra Disgraceful! They tried for the best part of a year to charge the company for a defunct phone line. We had to escalate the issue = speak to someone in Australia. I guess it’s what they call “passive income”.

@Telstra Telstra - I have three “consultants” working on my needs via social media…but you think I can get a tech to fix the actual problem?
