@Telstra Spend some money on your infrastructure in Port Hedland. We can all make phone calls, but no one can use their data because the network is so clogged up with traffic! Disgraceful. Dial up speeds.

@84_angry @Telstra The simple truth about Telstra is that they are slow copycats. That's not actually a bad thing overall. They try to understand how it may be possible to make money, based on leads from successful companies, and then they copy. This is clearly the Amazon "prime day" idea.

  • OffBeatMammal Offbԑatmammal 🇦🇺 (@OffBeatMammal) reported

@Telstra How about instead of the constant chopping and changing of plans you simplify and make sure you are competitive with what MVNOs like Aldi offer on your own network!

What Telstra's free to use payphones shows is that public phones are an essential service. They always have been, from the moment they were introduced, to now, and into the future. We must never again pay for this essential service.

  • Maxxxxed [reply all] (@Maxxxxed) reported

@Aerohaveno I was wondering what the intention was with @Telstra's announcement yesterday, I think you've hit the nail on the head @Aerohaveno. Making the payphones relevant again, making them a public service so they can install more with billboards attached. $$$$
