Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Jilly (@MssJilly) reported@SistaRuthDOPD They use the Telstra platform. Never heard of it doing that, but calls are answered based on the key words you use when it asks you what you’re calling about. Also offers ‘place in queue’, calling you back when your phone no reaches #1 in the queue, which is really worth doing.

Audrey (@AudreyTay31079) reported@ellymelly Yes it is. My regional medical centre I have had the same doctor at for 30 years has been sold about a year ago. It’s now run by an offshore call centre in India and is now full of Indian doctors and I use that term loosely. I will never go to an immigrant doctor. Also in my small regional town , the Telstra shop all Indian staff, two of the 3 Pizza shops are Indian run, women walking around in Saris, all delivery drivers Indian. It’s an invasion!

daisymay4263 🌼🌼🌼 (@daisymay4263) reportedSeems perfectly legit, reward people for failures …. 🙄 Telstra has paid its chief executive, Vicki Brady, $6.8m for the year ending in June, after docking 20% of her bonus in response to the network’s nationwide outage in July. The company reported financial results on Thursday. Its board met on Monday and decided to cut Brady’s bonus by $607,000 – but she still took home a $700,000 pay rise as she was awarded a total of $6.1m the year before.

Lucy Graham (@montrosegraham) reported@ChinaSelect Australia has had two major telecommunications network failures. As a result of the Telstra failure, three people died, including a baby. One person died as a result of the Optus failure. No infrastructure should have any exposure to foreign adversaries.

Baiyang **** (@NJCMLAB) reported@MinotaurStocks In the Q2 conference call, it stated Telstra (Australia) as the new HomeSecure partner. "Third, we secured a new win ---, adding our HomeSecure service in another country. The HomeSecure solution enhances threat protection across the Telstra's ---"

💧Daren Connor 🇦🇺 (@connor_daren) reported@Telstra you send me messages to say the network is having issues & use wifi calling but if the network is having issues which affects my devices then how the hell do I use wifi calling when there’s no network? How long will this be going on? This is the 4th day of these messages

Red Rivers (@RedRivers994225) reported@ImJulianAssange This is interesting. He's going toe to toe with Telstra in Australia over regional dead zones , for mobile phone subscribers. They have had a monopoly way too long on infrastructure leasing. That has largely been payed for with taxpayer subsidies and credit guarantees. Canada would be similar. They said they support "deregulation" right ? is that only for the international "bond, banking, equities" currency skimming goons and their European aristocracy "stakeholders'? " LOL cause I know Trev and Deb in Penrith won't see a cent in benefit. Maybe cheaper street fentanyl...for the "Asian importers"

Robert Wilson (@RobertW51136192) reported@Snoman_here @Democracy_Duck @BrentHodgson Doesn’t change the fact we would have been significantly better off keeping the gold. Also selling Telstra, without breaking it up first, was terrible for those of us outside the major cities. But credit where it’s due, Howard/Costello did pay down the debt.
