The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@PatrickLenton Also when you sign up with the Telstra (TM) personal hacking service they will go AWOL if you ask for help, but they'll still bombard you with cold calls trying to sell you business hacking products and a premium blackmail service.

@Telstra Thanks Ryan, I’m complaining to both Telstra and the ombudsman. I’m an existing customer, that wasn’t provided a service I’ve been paying for, and am now being asked to get through credit checks again, to get a service I’ve actually been paying for since Feb.

  • dragonandtonic TLJ (@dragonandtonic) reported

@Telstra Thanks Ryan, I’ve been helped since 6:30pm last night by various departments at Telstra, but no one has actually “helped” yet. Can the left hand please start talking to the right? Telstra has some serious structural issues.

  • dragonandtonic TLJ (@dragonandtonic) reported

@Telstra We want to speak to ONE person, who will go behind the scenes and fix it. I do not wish to know about all your back of house operations. Just ONE Person. A person who is not following an inappropriate script that makes the customer even more angry with every, single, response.

@madwixxy @Optus @Telstra Good question. I'm starting to think biometrics is the only solution to identity theft. Finger print; iris scan; voice etc... I'm also feeling nervous because my husband recieved a new Medicare card in the post while I never got one. The whole system is dodgy.

My Telco is Aussie Broadband. I switched to them after a year of absolute frustration with Telstra & their incredibly useless call centre service (badly trained overseas people). Aussie has been great. Australian call centres, good speeds, good service. Now I found out that
