The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@vicrollison @Firedingo Have never liked Telstra and their plans, doesn't surprise me that they are the first to go "greedy" in this regard.

@Telstra See pic 4, 1 bar then Do the bars really mean anything anyway? Am sitting in the exactly the same spot & service now slower with as many drop outs as 3G And then, at least, had wifi access, not all data, as now

@myronmy9 @Tiger2047 @Optus Look if you don't burn through a lot of data, even the 12 month prepaid plans from Optus/Telstra, or their resellers like Boost/Coles/etc aren't bad - and hey, you've prepaid and locked in that deal for 12 months :-)

@gregeganSF People really need to think; Hang on, when I want to call Telstra, that's an hour of my life that I'm never getting back, even if all they do is "have you tried turning it off and on again", and yet here Telstra are calling me. It must be my lucky day!

How do you know when the calls you are getting are #scams - when the callers identify themselves as @telstra technicians who are calling regarding a fault … Telstra will NEVER proactively fix a fault - even when there is a fault - and you are telling them there is a fault.

@Telstra @Optus for your customers in NSW, will you consider giving free mobile data during the flood emergency. Can you arrange free WIFI at the evacuation centres? How can people keep updated on @NSWSES if they don't have data? or cant afford the excess fee
