The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

The Oz gov't has to pay/force Telstra to provide service in remote communities as there isn't much of a business case to provide service in many areas due to low population density and low demand for service. 2/2

@AxantCorp @Palamir_ @Telstra Thanks. Just got 875 Mbps. I actually hadn’t checked for a while. Looks like they upgraded the network even more now.

@Telstra They can’t seem to cancel the order. So can’t order a new eSIM. I think I might have to go into the store. Do you know if the big Melbourne store is open?

The latest in the @Telstra #esim saga. 4 days, now no service on any device. Can’t transfer because requires verification via SMS that I can’t receive or random Telstra email that doesn’t exist. Telstra’s solution wait days for a ESIM to be mailed.

Gotta love how @Telstra will stuff you around for close to an hour when you try to get your account disconnected. Offering me this and that. Asking about my new provider constantly. 40 mins on hold. Making it as difficult as possible to sever from them. Never coming back now.

@TheMonolith_TV @Telstra If they only put that much effort into making the service actually good. After the disconnection they're tryin' to offer me another plan... Like WTF, they're predatory almost.
