The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@AussieCH64 Fair enough. I also bought a CellFi. It’s locked to Telstra. But gives you super range if only a tiny signal. Bluetooth phone to the device and it hooks up to a massive antenna on roof of car. Need to work as i travel. So not out of range too much.

@DavidGr07837209 I don't care. Haven't flown Qantas for 20 years. Like Telstra, they're never ever going to see anymore of my money again.

@annaspargoryan My mobile internet in general is really **** right now... Maybe there's a Telstra issue?

  • camdouglasau Cameron (@camdouglasau) reported

@Telstra Now 20 minutes later the bot wants all my details again, which provided at the start of the chat, and I am chatting via the Telstra app that I am logged in as. Is this the best you can do? Also customer for 15+ years and now you want my drivers license number…for real?

  • camdouglasau Cameron (@camdouglasau) reported

@Telstra I can buy a phone from an online retailer in less than 3 minutes… so far 2 hours via chat and still haven’t finished. How would you describe this service? Did the genius that designed this service actually plan for it to take this long? Is this by design?

  • Adam_Dorain Adam (@Adam_Dorain) reported

First issue was with some people receiving a 2FA code to their Telstra mobile. Wants to make out their is some widespread issue where there is none.

  • cherylmedwell4 Just my opinion (@cherylmedwell4) reported

Telstra are at it again, very slow internet but pay the full amount on the bill. They seem to be allowed by the government to get away with it. Welcome to Australia. brought to you by China.

  • RelCazlick AussieRel 🇦🇺 (@RelCazlick) reported

@Telstra BTW, after over an hr with Customer Service (an hour that I'll not get back & definitely could've been spent better), my modem had **** itself. Mailing new one, but a technician is still coming Monday. What for is beyond me. Why can't he bring a new modem or is that too sensible?
