The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@Telstra 6 calls all the same. 6pm, tier 2 - line ok, half an hour explaining the issue, I can’t help you my boss will call you. 11am, tier 2 - line test ok and we have no record of yesterday’s discussions, my supervisor will call you. You have no interest in resolution just attrition

@simonahac @Telstra This run around wasted much time. Now we are trying new service. Telstra too frustrating. All we had wanted was a quality hands free phone.

@AsheRevenge We have a Telstra guardian phone which makes callers not on the VIP list have to record the voice to get answered, scammers never do that

@simonahac @RonniSalt @Telstra If you have the Telstra app I’m pretty sure you can buy more data when you look at the service for your number.

(This service, for a relative of mine, was ordered as a non-nbn based service, 100% @Telstra end to end, because at this particular address they were the only broadband provider capable of delivering a service at the time).

@Telstra But to confirm, there is an outage of sorts, ETA 14th at this stage?

@simonahac @Telstra That would involve you buying.. a second service? Where you could pay them money in exchange for more data. Rinse, repeat.. (I can see what's in it for Telstra with this model.. not so much for you though!)
