The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@Telstra This is only recently, maybe the past couple weeks. No this is the first time I have contacted anyone about this issue.

Unarguably @Telstra has THE worst customer service of any company. FIVE incorrect bills in a row. All 'resolved' until the same problem the next month. Always promises of "we've' fixed it". Just never choose Telstra. On DSP: tried increasing my bill $20 p/month. No reason.

@Telstra Just so you know; it took 40 minutes to fix a simple bill mistake.

@Telstra Thanks, I have an email contact in there already, other agents were able to send the code to the email. This one agent insisted he could only text me the code.... I have spent from 11:20AM today until 14:30PM trying to resolve the issues..

@Taco_Lad The spam block on my phone is currently 100% effective at filtering these, so I only see them when I get bored and go to have a look at what has come in. I don't think Optus has a filtering thing like Telstra, but it hasn't been an issue, and such obvious spam is easy to ignore

@RoadknightThe You need plan B.I have problems with Telstra every school holidays. For work, I bought an Optus wireless modem, $60 a month, on my laptop when out of the office. Often need to turn that on.

@SwizzleSister @barriecassidy Electorate got the snake slithering down our streets to collect the gst in ALP seats, but others didn't get the selling of Telstra, the "crown jewels" as Beasley put it, which would endanger our conquest of a 21st c communications boom in Asia. Bloody Murdoch.

@Telstra If you look back on the customer service chat, frankly it's a joke. I've contacted you 5 time in 5 months about an incorrect bill. You changed mine from $110 to $130 without notice; then we settled on $115, and I still get incorrect bills. It's a joke.

@Telstra I was not given a ;ticket number'. Spent an hour in chat yesterday with a promise that the isssssue would be escalated. Received a call at 5pm. I couldn't speak then and asked they call back between 11am and 4pm. They agreed. No call. But I can tell you what the problem is. /2
