The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@toninicho They think it makes them the ideal citizen. The same people who think that Telstra/AMP/local car dealer/gas company owe them a better deal because "I've been a loyal customer for 25 years." You'd think that if you'd been around that long you'd know that it doesn't work like that.

  • book_bitchy on new medication (@book_bitchy) reported

@Telstra is it really acceptable to cut off all mobile phone service completely in postcode 2480 for four days? Makes working from home something of a challenge since I can’t receive or send calls, and no one has my landline.

  • Andycee007 Bond the Dog (@Andycee007) reported

@acar321 My want for an Apple Watch has been further amplified by the discovery that the Australian model now supports Band 28, which wasn’t the case a few years ago. Band 28 is the backbone of the Telstra 4G network, so the 4G model would work just about anywhere, even after 3G is gone

  • Sonder_JR JRS (@Sonder_JR) reported

@Telstra how do I speak to someone? No service on chat, no service on phone, no service when telstra calls me back
