Just had a terrifying time went into Telstra to solve a problem with my iPad went home only to discover they turned my phone off !

The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

It's 2021, and Telstra would need around 10 business days to get your internet connection done, because their Phillipines based customer service isn't equipped with the technical ability to push one button to activate your service. Australia's internet in dark ages.

@Telstra No, I’ve done that twice. Currently trying a third time but its not working. I want to speak to a real live person over the phone. I want to hear them and use my voice to talk back to them. I’m in my mid 60s and very bad at this internet stuff.

@Telstra Hi Tori, thanks for reaching out. We've been in contact with the tech team each time this happens. Unfortunately all the feedback we've received is that it's "fixed now", but I'm unsure as to what has changed with our network. It's been a recurring problem, and still is.

@Telstra I’m a ‘gold member’ and have been on the gold support sms for nearly 24 hours, no resolution, repeated my one issue at least 6 times and have asked for a complaint to be lodged five times - where’s the customer focus or at least listening to what a customer is requesting

@Telstra trying to change a plan. Call centre cannot verify its me as sms and email verification system not working. @Telstra app suggested. It is failing to communicate with server. I thought i was dealing with a telco...wow @telstra
