Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

My olds were hooked up 10yrs ago and while they used the existing Telstra conduit to the house, the inside install was terrible - left a big hole in the wall behind the NTU, which let spiders into the house until I found it years later and patched it up.

Speaking as an Aussie who's regional and driving 15 minutes any direction from my town has the service drop out, I love my Starlink. People in my town love Starlink. I hate Telstra. Cost a fortune and offer very little back.

Mike Lifts (@mikeoniron) reported@Telstra offered to upgrade my Internet. Apparently 5x the speed. Same cost. Same plan. Sounded like a good deal so I said yes. After about 5 pointless and painful discussions I shut down the process. I’m going to @Starlink with my 5G phones service for back up. They make it easy.
