The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@ceibner @Telstra They did. After claiming they’re moving to a “subscription model” - several exchanges later finally said add the “add-on” in the Telstra app for $5. after I showed them the lies I was given in the chat by Telstra staff. I always use text and never ring because evidence.

Day 4 no Internet @BelongAU did receive support call when I was at work apparently ‘closed the issue’ told to resubmit as a new issue. Pressure in call centre doesn’t equal customer service. #belong please look at previous failure of #telstra pits #NBN fail in heavy rain

@sniff86793391 Yeah crazy ****. And not a peep from Telstra aside from a couple of threads on an online technical blog explaining the fix. As far as I know they haven’t even pushed out another firmware update turning off the setting causing the crash. C*nts 🙄

@rohan_connolly @heraldsun @theage Do you have a theory behind this? Does the media need a "name" to frame a story around? Not the same issue but note the difference in coverage of Telstra's treatment of indigenous people & the Coll/Eddie situation. No demands for resignations there &Telstra remain an AFL sponsor.
