The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@Optus can you confirm if your global roaming works in New York City? If so, can I sign up online? How long will it take to transfer? While I have been a @Telstra customer for over 15 years - it is clear they are purely incompetent.

@SupratimA I've noticed you've written several pieces about Telstra for @smh & @theage I would like to discuss Telstra's failure to resolve a fault in roaming in New York City & and its International Support bouncing people to an App that then tells them to call that number.

@Telstra You do realise that speaking to Telstra Support is NOT how I imagined I would be spending this holiday?

@Telstra Hi Jo. John at Telstra mobile told me this is not true. Said I need to change my plan and pay $33 more to actually make the $5 add on for my watch. So again, back to my original point. So much for "premium" service. Ah well.

Dear Twitter, Please be aware that @Telstra is clearly incompetent and does not have functional support or data/telephony roaming in New York City - despite claiming that they do.

@alexmakin @Telstra Yeah. We had the same problem in NY. That’s why I just bought a Verizon sim there. My time and mood were too precious!

@Telstra @Josh_B_Rosner Cas, have you ever used chat support? You’d get more support talking to a wall.

@Diddoms @JaneCaro Are you imbecilic or just a little slow? Howard and Costello created the Future Fund, opening it with the sale of Telstra and mining royalties. @AustralianLabor now wants to "borrow" (steal) from it. In 2021 the fund had US$143.7 billion in assets under management. #auspol

@Telstra No, I don't accept reverse workflows. It's your app not mine. Im not asking for help, I'm providing you with information about a bug in your app. You take ownership and take it from here.
