  • DamienCWalker Farmering Dad (@DamienCWalker) reported from Windermere, State of Tasmania

The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Hey @Telstra, what the hell? The @nbn is down, and 4G/5G is barely functioning. I can't even log into the app because I can't receive the two-factor authentication SMS. Do we need to go back to snail mail for business?

  • Bokonomics Bokonomics 🐓🔺 (@Bokonomics) reported

I am currently in the process of switching my home internet from @Telstra to @Starlink. This is a thread for all Australian Telstra customers. 🧵 If you’re in Australia and on Telstra’s fixed wireless NBN I strongly suggest you have a look at other options. For the last 18 months my fixed wireless with Telstra has been basically unusable with no speeds over 10Mbps and a latency in the hundreds. We have had a full hardware upgrade and still no change with no help or compensation from Telstra what so ever. Have also been a customer for over 20 years. Their incompetence as a business should not be accepted anymore.

  • DanielClancy Daniel Clancy (@DanielClancy) reported

**** you @Telstra you criminal ***** the government MANDATED you upgrade everyones nbn FOR FREE to a reasonable speed and now you're trying to squirm out of it by saying its for new customers only - I AM A ******* NEWW CUSTOMER!!!! ONE YOU ****** OVER FOR MONTHS AND TOOK YOU TO TIO TWICE , THRICE AS OF TODAY!!

  • jeffreys_jake Jake Jeffreys (@jeffreys_jake) reported from Meringa, State of Queensland

@BazzaCC @Telstra Same thing here. Not only lost nearly all signal, now missing work jobs,,,,because calls and emails not coming through( get allocations on daily basis). In the same period, increased my contract. Also convinced my elderly neighbour same bullshit and deal with NBN.BLOODY SCAM

  • georgiaxbov Georgia (@georgiaxbov) reported

Love the fact that we’ve been have extremely slow internet for the past 48hrs so slow I can’t even do a google search and the earliest @Telstra can supposedly get an NBN technician out is Wednesday which means I will have had unusable internet for a whole week that I’m paying for

  • MissIgraine Miss Igraine (@MissIgraine) reported

@CC68891975 Wow. Shocking. I'll find out this week. We're running something this week where I'll be able to speak to both nbn and Telstra reps and I'll ask about the area/region and also ask about general internet issues in the area. Piss poor.

  • georgiaxbov Georgia (@georgiaxbov) reported

@Telstra Green. The lights have been nothing but green the whole time the issues being going on, same with the NBN box

  • DodgyHamstrings Brendon Matthews (@DodgyHamstrings) reported

@Telstra NBN outage reported in Essendon since 8.30am today. In that time absolutely no communication from you as my service provider. Any update as to when service will resume

  • BrianHulkLe Brian Le (@BrianHulkLe) reported

@Telstra I switched from Optus to Telstra because of their archaic backend systems and garbage processes. Luckily I have never bought into moving my NBN over either. Can’t trust you either with taking care of long time customers.

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@Tank9999 @AustralianLabor The LNP party room hated the idea of the #NBN because it would hurt Telstra and show that selling it off as a single entity was stupid. And they had to try and protect foxtel from the streaming platforms. Turnbull invested his own money into fttp rollouts in Europe.
