The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@Telstra Well, Angie, after 13 months of getting nowhere, something suddenly changed at telstra, and Michael Atkin was personally inviting long suffering customers to email him for a resolution. A few calls, emails, verifications, and SMSs later, I got...a refund!

@Telstra I m know exactly what they are. It was to highlight that I’m chewing through my mobile data month after month because my NBN continues to drop gazillion times a day ….. and it’s been 3 months of talking to Texh Support and nothing is fixed still.

I think @Kmart_Australia got their Customer "Service" telephone hold system from the same people that do @Telstra. Bloody awful. 22min is not acceptable. Hire more people.

@redambition I had a number of issues with them on cable. A 100/4 service of a night, I was getting about 5/.2. It took them 3 months to admit congestion. Moved to Telstra at that point (cable), then nbn Aussie.. not sure if there is congestion on NBN service..

@Telstra Thanks. I spoke to someone via chat in Nov 2020 and asked to cancel my account. They said they would, but I was subsequently billed for the next 4 months. I have only received a refund of $10 via cheque. I followed up several times to no avail.

@Telstra It’s not a new account; I’ve been a customer for years - I am currently $200 in credit! The CSR wouldn’t even LOOK UP my account without me showing photo ID AFTER online reps told me everything I wanted to do could be done in store with the ID I have.

@drvyom And we're all counting down til the next election. The potential for hope does not wane. Even if Clive Palmer and that wack-job Craig Kelly are sending spam messages to people's phone numbers. #Telstra to blame.

Thanks @Telstra or making me feel like a bad person for being poor. The online peeps said ‘can’t help you, no drivers license, go in store’. I go in store; ‘where’s your photo ID?’ The CSR wouldn’t even look at my record without a photo - and I had my birth certificate on me.
