The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Just had a terrifying time went into Telstra to solve a problem with my iPad went home only to discover they turned my phone off !

@Telstra Have to wait on new sim card which doesn't make sense. I can still access the internet on my phone but since the earthquake, can't make or receive calls or make and receive texts. Why should I have to wait for new sim in the mail? Must be someone who can help restore via settings

@Telstra I have sent the ref. number to the agent that called me. Not sure why they went AWOL before I contacted the TIO. It will get sorted I'm sure of that as the TIO keeps @telstra accountable unlike a (paying) customer can. Just posted this update for anyone else struggling for help.

@Telstra Yes, make customer service include conversations with customers speaking on their phones. I’m fed up with chat boxes, text messages, DMs, and hours putting up with awful music in the vain hope I will speak to a person. Not a digitised imitation.

Hey Greg. I did get a call and some follow up emails but no resolution. TIO case has been opened. @Telstra really don't care about their average / bread and butter customers anymore.
