  • DamienCWalker Farmering Dad (@DamienCWalker) reported from Windermere, State of Tasmania

The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

  • kokolopa kokolopa.. PM a systemic, consistent, public liar (@kokolopa) reported

@selga55 Jane is getting well versed in saying black is white or vice versa… Malcolm had an opportunity to do something about the poor communications network (as Howard did with Telstra) but squibbed it relying on dodgy advice about 5G… but NBN execs are still making a fortune

  • Truthsa23471916 Truthsayer (@Truthsa23471916) reported

@PhillipCoorey The bastardised NBN delivered by the LNP using a redundant copper network was a very expensive brain fart. Telstra had not spent a cracker on it since the advent of mobile phones that should have been enough to suggest that it was a bad idea.

  • NeilJB1 💧🌏🌳NeilJB🔥🐀💉💉 (@NeilJB1) reported

@blakandblack @Telstra Has anyone thought of making a complaint phone call or email to the Indian High Commission in Canberra every time they get an Indian scam call? If enough did it, perhaps India might crack down on these criminals? BTW I don't know if the Indian Govt is trying to stop them.

  • OffBeatMammal Offbԑatmammal 🇦🇺😷💉💉 (@OffBeatMammal) reported

@Telstra I guess you make money on these calls, so hard to justify the ROI on fixing it. These days I simply never answer a call from an unknown number, and there is a whole generation coming who won't use traditional Telco voice services at all

  • kelaher quantumʕ•̫͡•ʕ*̫͡*ʕ•͓͡•ʔ-̫͡-ʕ•̫͡•ʔlife (@kelaher) reported

@Telstra Scam watch is too slow, sorry; you need to supply a quicker reporting mechanisms, namely an easy to remember # fast code that can be dialed after such a call occurs. I get multiple calls a day - 😡

  • Jerrrrson Jerrrrson (@Jerrrrson) reported

@CaroDiRusso Much like idea Conroy had with his Telstra deal. Telstra would end PSTN where NBN cable was rolled out. Customers had phones cutover to NBN network making NBN uptake figures look good, all they had was a phone, no internet. Now Albo will supply internet and no means to access it.

  • darren_mg Darren (@darren_mg) reported

@rourke_eagle @EthanSparrius @AustraliaXSX Thought so. See too easy. Too bad I'm not a Telstra customer, and lucky i have one on pre-order with eb.

  • shusseina Steve (@shusseina) reported

@Telstra Today when seeking tech support, your staff scanned by ID (passport) without sufficiently explaining why that was required | #PrivacyMatters

  • wewatchu2 LumpenproleT🐀OnStolenLand. Another Dan (@wewatchu2) reported

@blakandblack @Telstra i made a complaint to Optus about it. Spoofing of numbers is a common problem they are trying to fix. Our only defence is Spam blockers, monitor all int'l calls and check bills

  • RachaelHasIdeas Rachael (@RachaelHasIdeas) reported

@Telstra I’m in Berry NSW. No mobile service for up to two weeks? That can’t be real.
