@mig_loren @bencmorrison I have my iPhone and iPad on Telstra SIM with shared data.255gb shared. It's come down over the years but the convenience of an esim when travelling is pretty cool. Still expensive if you just use the Apple provider interface.

  • brentcostelloe Brent Costelloe (@brentcostelloe) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Anyone else having issues making and receiving calls on the @Telstra 5G network in Hobart?

  • baxters Baxters (@baxters) reported

My @Internode wireless broadband has become useless. It drops out so often I can't even do any work. Not impressed. Lodged a support ticket and now awaiting a call back from their tech team. I'm now having to use my Telstra Mobile Phone as my internet. *sigh*

Ps @Telstra fix that old ***** *** wipe you call the smart router 3. That thing can’t hold a stable connection to any wifi 5 2.4ghz connection like y’know basically every smart device! It really can be that hard!

I’m planning on cutting my ties with Optus because *broadly gestures at whole situation*, but a big reason I’ve been an Optus customer consistently since 2008 is because I had horrid experiences with Telstra and Vodafone when I was younger. Which one has become less ****?

  • The9573rdGuy The 9573rd Guy maybe (@The9573rdGuy) reported

@Telstra Yup they told me to restart the router. I did it again and nothing happened it stopped for 39 minutes and kept going. I have had tech support come over and they said that they fixed the issue I was having with the wifi being slow previously and only since then has this happened.

…So, I went upstairs, signed up to Telstra, switched my SIM, and MAGIC!, all working. I went down to Optus, authenticated by text - via Telstra - and paid off my bill. Goodbye Optus! And, good riddance! And now my data is on the Internet. Optus, I “salute” you!🖕😎
