  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

NOW @Telstra ... between 4pm & 6pm I had wifi connection ... between 6-7.30pm my Telstra smart modem has restarted on 5 occasions ... since 7.30pm I’ve had a blue light on my smart modem & NO NBN ... MY ISSUE HAS BLATANTLY NOT BEEN RESOLVED!!! POOR FORM

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

Making a complaint directly to @Telstra has as much utility as a doorbell on a coffin ... my case manager didn’t do anything and didn’t tell me anything I already didn’t know & condoned a 17 day wait for a technician visit ... your thoughts @rayhadley2gb?

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra ALSO disappointing and underwhelming that my complaints officer fails to return your call of yesterday and just “happens” to be on a rest day today when they advise they work Monday-Friday ... no other Officer is available today to help me

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia ... Telstra cancelled my technician appointment claiming issue was resolved ... it wasn’t ... earliest a technician can attend is Friday 16/4/21 ... NOT GOOD ENOUGH

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

After 10 days of a planned outage, you only NOW consider and investigate a potential modem issue ... something my complaint raised 7 days ago ... I think each & every employee of your service should have to go what I’ve been through and see how you feel at the end of it @Telstra

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra also unreasonable and NOT good enough to have had NO wifi functionality for 9 days ... I have multiple devices and streaming services that rely on wifi connectivity ... I have been unable to back up my devices for 9 days ... no-one is able to help me with my complaint

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia Hi Matt ... thanks for your response ... very much appreciated & so much more than I have received from @Telstra ... no outage after using your link ... 12 days of no NBN, landline & wifi ... I’ve spent 20+ hours on the phone with Telstra

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

Well neither @Telstra or @NBN_Australia have managed to resolve my issue between them ... 30 days & counting ... shame on you both ... I have an online University exam worth 40% of my mark to do this weekend ... back to Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman

  • Zaphod_BBX
Zaphod Beeblebrox (@Zaphod_BBX) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@MeckeringBoy @LeanneH56251190 I'm on a 50Mbps plan as well and get 47-48. Have no issues with streaming Netflix or catch up TV at all. I did get a new modem when I went to provider. I went with Aussie Broadband bcs I was sick of Telstra BS. They've been great upfront, honest and ready to fight NBNCo.

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

I have to say @Telstra I smell bollocks when your Conplaints Department confirm the planned outage has been resolved and organise a technician to investigate your NBN service but 4 hours later another Department calls you to advise your wifi functionality will be fixed by 5pm

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra Some feedback for you - not only was the Complaints Officer you allocated on 2 March redundant and as useful as a doorbell on a coffin in resolving my wifi functionality issue ... he then tried to rewrite history by stating we had spoken before today which was UNTRUE

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@ACurrentAffair9 If it’s a slow news day and you fancy running an expose on how badly @Telstra treats customers of 15 years with their NBN service please reach out ... I have screen shots & more

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra I’m having trouble with the fact I have an nbn internet contract & @Telstra has been in breach of contract for 15 days ... for 8 days I had no wifi, nbn or landline ... for 7 days I’ve had 4G backup ... NOT GOOD ENOUGH

  • HappyHammer69
HappyHammer (@HappyHammer69) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

Just moved house, been unhappy with Telstra for a while so switched to @Aussie_BB because service supposed to be good! Need a @NBN_Australia tech to connect us, he says not very busy atm @Aussie_BB say it will take a week! #nocommunication #badservice

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Axe99 @Telstra It defies all logic & reason to have to have this amount of contact and repeat myself so many times ... the Telstra customer service rep wanted to do basic troubleshooting of the modem even though I provided the case reference and advised it was a line issue

  • seadoomad
Rob Duffy (@seadoomad) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra rang 18 times to cancel my foxtel and keep hanging up on me your a fking joke @ScottMorrisonMP I know your busy but Telstra need a kick up the arse will go to @Optus now maybe more help

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra How on earth do you suggest I resolve my problem when your app won’t run a diagnostic or tells me the NBN diagnostic failed and you are prohibiting telephone call contact due to COVID 19 ... how do I study or work??????????

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra @NBN_Australia Thankgod for a switched on technician ... my wifi issue was the result of my modem disabling the wifi functionality during a firmware upgrade and had you bothered to run a diagnostic @Telstra could have confirmed this 12 days ago - 👏 ineptitude #bravo

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

After reporting the unreasonableness of a 10 day outage to my wifi functionality to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, your Complaints Officer assigned has been as useful as a doorbell on a coffin ... fails to return calls and out of office so far @Telstra

  • Ballyanamcara
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales

@Telstra It is simply not good enough and unreasonable for an internet service provider to fail to advise customers of a planned 2 week internet outage ... especially when that customer relies on that service to work from home, do University study and connect multiple devices

@Telstra 2/6 Paragraph 1 1. Shud summarise. We stuffed up, know why, implementing things to lower risk, we want to hear from you" 2. "We let you down” soft vs we failed to provide service you paid for. Common corp apol formula. Sounds accountable w/out creating broader admission.

  • _rebase
    trebase (@_rebase) reported

@VoteLewko now they have some grasp of the issue, I'm loving hearing all the free advice from various MPs that Telstra should have upgraded that $22k server, "it's just a no-brainer"...

  • ChickenGoFarm
    ChickenGo 🇦🇺🇹🇼 (@ChickenGoFarm) reported

@SkyNewsAust When Telstra failed to deliver reliable service, Jason Clare MP @JasonClareMP, the Albanese Labor Government's Minister for Education, said: "People could have died." But when @AlboMP broke his campaign promise, Jim Chalmers, the Albanese Labor Government's Treasurer, said: "People will get through it." ******* shameless.

  • HappyPawsTreats
    Lynn Phillips (@HappyPawsTreats) reported

Just got an email from Telstra. Couldn't copy the image, so this is the body of the mesasage. An "apology". That's all. These people aren't serious AND they're cheap .... "Sorry we let you downLast week we let you down, and I am sorry for that. An issue in our mobile network caused significant disruption to our customers and to Australians. We know how much people rely on us to keep in touch, do their work, run businesses and stay safe. It's extremely frustrating when mobile services aren't available, and we're deeply sorry for the impact this had on so many people. Networks are large and complex, and we invest significantly in the resilience of our network. When something goes wrong, we're committed to taking accountability, giving you clear information, and fixing issues as quickly as possible. We understand what caused the issue and will complete a full investigation and take what we learn to make our network stronger. You have my commitment on that. More details about what occurred are available on our network outage webpage, including if you want to get in contact or make a complaint. We've also seen some reports of customers receiving calls from fraudsters trying to take advantage of this moment. Please be extra careful of calls you receive from people claiming to be from Telstra. If you're unsure, hang up and call us directly. We take our responsibility as Australia's largest telco extremely seriously. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this, and for the trust you place in us. We don't take it for granted. Vicki Brady, Chief Executive Officer, Telstra📷"

@Telstra Having so much of a country's infrastructure relying on a single company never EVER failing is just asking for disaster. There needs to be a fall back, especially when it comes to Triple Zero

  • RizviAbul
    Abul Rizvi (@RizviAbul) reported

@michaeljames947 Telstra is an 800lb gorilla. It was never going to be possible to keep them behaving properly. That was the case from day 1 when the govt & Telstra were at legal loggerheads. Then they took govt to the cleaners over the NBN saga.

@strangerous10 Telstra is an Indian company with most of its customers in Australia. Albo should have asked Modi why ******** is going on with Telstra while he was here.

  • MisterSpock8888
    Cool McCool (@MisterSpock8888) reported

@Telstra 4/6 5. "It's extremely frustrating" are you now telling customers how how they are feeling? Paragraph 3 6. Networks are large and complex" Oh really. I thought it was string and tin cans. 7. "invest significantly in resilience" obv not working / bad investing.

  • Van_Der_Roberts
    Steven Roberts (@Van_Der_Roberts) reported

@JacintaAllanMP God you’re a ******* mess lady. So quick to come down hard on Telstra and divert attention away from your absolute shambles of a government. At least they’ve been reliable for the past few years which is more than I can say for you!!

@Telstra Hey so, why are my bills going up in price year on year, because of your 'service', yet we're still getting outages.
