@Telstra Plus raising a concern like that is heaps of time which I have lack of atm. I'm just back from Europe where the network works even in the metro, here in #Townsville it disconnects in the elevator or undercover carpark too.

@Telstra I get that the network and the usage is different in big cities and in the country but nowdays all business need a mobile, and unfortunately some people expect 24x7 availability. No network, no business, no $$$. 😑

@missrobinson @Telstra I always put lack of service at times when there's lots of people around to lack of towers to accommodate people. In the city there would also be the mix of that and the buildings causing issues. I swear our whole system needs an overhaul

@fictillius @Telstra Yeah. It used to be the only network that worked in my suburb, but husband has Optus for work and that seems fine these days (I had Optus for work 6 yrs ago and it was SOS only in my lounge room)

@missrobinson @Telstra The only problem with switching is if you go outside of the city, as other networks are terrible in the regions. But if not, all good!

@missrobinson @Telstra I left years ago after putting up with that for 12 months. I’d get no data at all in the entire airport tunnel or at circular quay and some spots in the CBD, despite full signal.

@bymyers @missrobinson @Telstra Aldi Mobile is on the Telstra Wholesale Network - which is a subset of “the Telstra network”. In coverage terms it’s 98.8% vs 99.5% which doesn’t mean too much in cities but when you go regional or rural.. And it also doesn’t get full speed access to the 5G rollout.

@missrobinson @Telstra We're with Aldi Mobile, it's the Telstra network anyway. They roll your data over as well.
