@Telstra Plus raising a concern like that is heaps of time which I have lack of atm. I'm just back from Europe where the network works even in the metro, here in #Townsville it disconnects in the elevator or undercover carpark too.

@Telstra I get that the network and the usage is different in big cities and in the country but nowdays all business need a mobile, and unfortunately some people expect 24x7 availability. No network, no business, no $$$. 😑

@Soheli8 @Telstra Thanks, Janet. The chap on the phone suggested I fill out the Priority Customer form, but it has to be signed by his doctor in Qld, and witnessed by a JP here in Sydney. So that will be my job tomorrow. x

@Telstra @TraceySpicer How many decades has this person been a Telstra customer I wonder, then one bill not paid on time, cut off their lifeline. Heartless, no loyalty to your long term customers that built the service.

@TraceySpicer @Telstra Hi Tracey , sorry to hear this. Would you like to DM me so I can send you platitudes privately to quell your public outrage and delay a solution to your problem until you forget about it? ~ Gus

@Telstra @maddiepalmer It's NOT good enough with vulnerable customers. Shameful behaviour!! Elderly people often have overdue accounts, money problems or memory problems so if it's overdue one time and happens again you leave them vulnerable to illness and other emergencies? Disgusting.

@TraceySpicer @Telstra For Telstra, yes. They made my 83 year old dad sign up for internet saying his phone service would be cut off due to NBN rollout. They gave him ADSL because their fibre was available at his house, and by the time he died several years later, NBN was still not available either.

@Mcali4 @Telstra I agree. In a pandemic, all care needs to be given to assure that elderly/vulnerable people can call for support and help. @Telstra made a good move last year in making public phones free - there’s an opportunity here to make sure homebound people have similar access.

@TraceySpicer @Telstra either way, @Telstra, we are still in a pandemic, there are still many who have income interrupted who need to be able to contact support, both personal and governmental. An unpaid bill should not be the reason someone can't contact a doctor right now. This needs your attention.
