@Kareeming_1 @murzo_4 Got this same **** a few months ago with a Foxtel Now overcharge. Got sick of the BS, logged an issue with the ombudsman and got refund within two weeks. It was like the Telstra operator was dealing with 10 calls at once

@Warwick_Long there is enough customer base in the rural areas for companies like @Telstra to put more phone towers in without govt help. If they were put in the appropriate spots not based on population but higher points it would be better. Also asked locals where to put them

@YaThinkN Telstra has given up on the regions , they are putting all their money into city5G , because 5G only works in the cities . Selling a monopoly and expecting it to improve was bonkers . We country folk pay more for our rubbish service to subsidize the city infrastructure .

@andrewjhansen Don't worry, You can have the same problems without daylight savings. Almost every year @Telstra decide to completely screw up the change for Queenslanders and change the time on our phones despite them literally just needing to do nothing.

@Telstra , you're stupid current ad that states "hey Google" in its script really stuffs around android televisions. Not the smartest advertising or marketing ! They play the brief version possibly 3-4 times per ad break of NRL Fox.

@kayleen87686977 @AlexBallhausen @Tedthekelpie Same 14 ks from Mansfield in Victoria. No service - same response from Telstra. “Get a sat phone “. We do have one but the monthly plans are ridiculously expensive.

@chrisjej @8DavezAWeekes +1 this. The National Fibre Optic Network was fully costed by government owned Telstra at $8bn and to be completed by 2002. "Privatisation forces the discipline of the market." Exactly. The market decided that the NFON wasn't worth the effort and never built it. Good stuff.

@Telstra Pretty slow, I can’t load any of the speed test sites (including Telstra’s). Currently hot spotting to my mobile (Voda).

@IpseDixitCicero Well, we’re with Telstra, so I just select from their catalogue the one with the strongest signal. We upgrade every few years. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

@fixedblock I had the same dilemma when installing conduit for my NBN install - in the end contractor didn't even care, just hooked the cable up to the Telstra rope I'd run through it, and asked if I could help pull it through from inside.
