@Telstra Kathy, I have been promised many, many call backs that never happen. For the last 3 days I've been advised a return call "as soon as the system is back up". Hasn't yet happened.

  • MadVet2000 Madonna Buiter (@MadVet2000) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Maybe some service and call backs to resolve complaints to your retail customer's would go a long way....

  • zzap cartesian self boy 🧠 (@zzap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I requested a credit transfer from one @Telstra account to another THREE weeks ago and it never happened. Apparently their “credit transfer tool” is broken but no one bothered to get in contact with their affected customers (me) about it. Thanks, Telstra.

  • heathermarielit Heather Marie Little (@heathermarielit) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

No WiFi for 48 hrs, on the phone for 45 mins yesterday, was promised a call back this morning - never happened. Now been on hold for over 45 mins after advised of a 12 min wait! Terrible customer service from @Telstra Also your hold music is dire. #badcustomerservice

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    30. @Telstra sends a number of flippant, unhelpful and glib responses to this string. "Keep us in the loop" + "sorry you have not received the service you expect" + "understand your frustrations". S 31. Still no response to fast track request. 24-48 hours is now 6 days.

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    6. @Telstra says cancel the order and reorder and all will be fine. 7. LOL only joking the say after two weeks. 8. @nbn digs up our nature strip and three of our neighbours' strips. Lays cable 9. Telstra attends and says NBN has done a shoddy job.

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Here it is Tanasha. SR 1-1828660335430. Good luck. I hope you can help where so many (SO many) of your colleagues have failed.

  • ajft crash-in-dirt-later (@ajft) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Ah the simple joy of stringing along the Indian accented "Anna Smith" from "the technical department of Telstra, your internet service provider". Made it to 4 minutes before she hung up on me. #telstra #remoteaccess #scam

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Angela please dont bother. This is a complete stuff up. I will leave it to the Ombudsman to fix. I have no faith in @Telstra .

  • LexPlans Lex: Currently forging a doomed lighthouse (@LexPlans) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @Telstra my internet was supposed to have been set up today and I found out that the modem sent out has a known firmware issue. Very frustrating

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@ShaunHodgins @AltoCarol @crownsfive1 @billshortenmp Yeah I don’t agree. One example, Telstra would never have been sold off. Telco infrastructure would have been maintained and upgraded. The NBN may not have been required and thus we would not have had to buy back and rent infrastructure that was previously owned by the tax payer

  • aykay8 Ahmed Khalaf (@aykay8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Forget the banks - we need a royal commission into telcos and their horrendous customer service 🤕😤 @Telstra

  • TullySmith Tully Smith (@TullySmith) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

With @ceda_news Director @mcam39, @telstra CEO @andy_penn predicts that the biggest inhibitor of future tech such as autonomous vehicles, will be regulation and issues around liability #futureofwork

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    37. Still no update from @Telstra. No return call from case manager. No return call from customer care champion, no update on 2- application (lodged 9 days ago), no update on fast track application lodged 10 days ago).

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AttardMon @NBN_Australia Apparently not, Mon. We're in "transition phase" so although @NBN_Australia has responsibility for the infrastructure, @Telstra is still managing the service but has to defer to NBN for any works. As you can imagine, that works well.

  • royboygash Gary collie (@royboygash) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Why in this world of the Internet can an Aussie business in a new factory wait Seven weeks to have the Internet installed.. because Telstra has off shored it’s customer services & the local council chanced the business estate’s addresses on the day of install @billshortenmp

  • MadVet2000 Madonna Buiter (@MadVet2000) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Absolutely, was promised a priority call back within 24 hours last Wednesday..... 2 hours on the phone this issue has been ongoing for over 3 months... still not sorted, unless I call, all I get from your copmlaints dept is *crickets*!!

  • zzap cartesian self boy 🧠 (@zzap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It won’t be processed. Because the tool is down they allegedly cannot transfer credits at all. Telstra is going to SNAIL MAIL me a CHEQUE like it’s 1992. I wasn’t even born in 1992. Your internal processes are a bit of a joke sometimes!

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    36. @telstra can't provide me with any update as their system is down. Perhaps they're having trouble with their internet access.

@mirandamohajrn I'm paraphrasing but what I thought I heard was that "As a senior executive at Telstra we worked closely with Victoria Police and I'm sure they can provide audio of those phone calls." WTF?
