... Most government departments fail to comply with the most basic cybersecurity protocols. This is about Dutton and his PR team boosting his stakes. Is another Libspill in the offing? Fabulous, as it is, to have a Telstra boss in charge of anything to do with security.

@blakandblack @Telstra Have been scammed, you will need to cancel your number.

If people keep getting scam extortion texts about videos that don't even exist, don't click on links but block the word 'video' in your settings, that way all you get is notifications of parcels one has never ordered. Optus and Telstra should be doing a lot more than they do.

@dgaust that sucks. I had thought ABB were now 100% independent of any Telstra infrastructure - but I guess that's not the case. Wonder if this is something that could happen here.

Andy Penn @Telstra, a Pom not even born here or whose ancestors help build and defend this country, suggest we change the date of #AustraliaDay Prick. He’s only here to reap the reward. Woke prick.

@skatsa yeah, the performance on my previous Telstra MVNO using Telstra Wholesale was terrible. Interested to see what Boost can do in terms of roaming

@Telstra I got furious and said want to get someone to cancel the order as it's a joke at this point , but i cant even reach anyone . Please help me cancel my account !
-
dg (@dgaust) reported
@niall_bigscreen Telstra routed the two routes (meant to provide redundancy) through the one piece of equipment. So when the power supplies failed, the whole connection went down. Took Telstra hours to send a technician to even look at it, then another 10 hours to get the parts and fix.

@BrentHodgson And remote regions of Australia if I'm going to be frank.... signal for other mediums isn't what they make out.... telstra has become a joke where it was once a world leader.

Paul Hodgson (@PaulJohnHodgson) reported
@Telstra Thanks Ryan. We understand we won’t ever be getting NBN because an ‘existing provider delivers a fibre network to this area’. Given that Optus has been forced to close their network, it must mean the former Telstra Velocity network.

Update on my mobile woes - made the switch to Boost because it looks like the best of the MVNOs using Telstra. So far so good. Will worry about global roaming down the track
