@mcquillanator Currently in Chatham-Kent and my domestic carrier (Rogers) is still out of service. Fortunately my overseas phone (Telstra) can connect to the Bell network and I can make some calls.

So #telstra have effectively got $11.40 out of me for no service or product. Unless I take an hour to go into their store and kick up a ruckus I’ll never see the money again. Even then I probably wouldn’t have a chance of recovering it.

1/4 I recently made a complaint to the Ombudsman about @Telstra re my appallingly slow mobile internet speeds. I live in a rural area with no nbn or other decent internet options. After 'investigating' Telstra stated there is nothing wrong with our tower or signal. I explained

Imagine having to chase @Telstra up to give you updates on a case. Shouldn't they be updating you without the need of you calling to follow up. For a company with great coverage, customer service be lacking.

  • skwashd Dave Hall 🌻 (@skwashd) reported

It's great Telstra's call centres are back in Australia. Now can they empower their staff to solve problems rather than endlessly transfer people between departments? Am I asking for too much?

  • utegirl70 KJ (@utegirl70) reported

@Telstra I’m on the most basic plan. So I get no extra data and I pay $3 for the privilege. I’m not able to go to anything lower, unless I change providers again. Poor effort in opinion.

  • mikegoldmanlive Mike Goldman (@mikegoldmanlive) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Telstra charge 100$ a month for my NBN home internet. Cancelled and started using a prepaid dongle with another company. 17$ a month, better speeds, more reliable, better customer service. Bye Telstra.

@missrobinson Customer service has been disgusting for several years now. Many of Australia's biggest companies are the same - Telstra for example. They've been allowed to get away with it for far too long!
