@Telstra I shouldn’t have to. I’m paying a premium for a subpar service. I have reported it to you now you can investigate it and fix it!!

@Telstra has the worst customer service. “To stop the harassment of your 83 yo father in a Nursing Home we need to write up an official complaint otherwise it will be never ending”

F@£k you @Telstra never EVER have I had service this poor..I hope my contract is almost done so I can take every thing I own FAR away from it. When someone says ‘we’ve booked a technician for you and this ones for real’ you know you’re dealing with an unprofessional company.

@Telstra Wow well done. Then page you sent to me onto tells me there’s no issue with the service yet clearly there is as I’m sitting at home 1.9km from a Telstra tower and I have 1 bar of signal strength on a iPhone 12. Good work #timetoleavetelstra

@nat_ofoibles Oh wow, that’s how I felt calling this guy during the week, lucky he already knew, had reported it to Telstra, but they still hadn’t done anything. He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

@berthon_jones I worked at Telstra. We had (some) customer data in dev/test environments (which is where the Optus leak occurred) There is chronic underinvestment in data masking for development environments... In many large orgs.

@domknight @Optus I worked for Telstra in a call centre and almost all the customers struggled to reset their modem, let alone access a 3rd service to confirm their identity. It’s impractical in the extreme, and would result in older/disabled/non first English speakers not being able to access.

For obvious reasons I am changing phone providers this week and so far it’s for Telstra but does anyone else have any takes/suggestions on this? All telco’s are objectively **** but which one is less so?

@NZWarriors @JasonCParis Telstra Australia will not let Vodafone win their competition..... every ref knows each bad call against the Warriors is worth 100 GB and free calls and texts within Australia for 30 days..

@niall_bigscreen @Raf_Epstein Adding to this, I wonder if the issue would be more applicable to banks/phone services/etc. if they’re holding onto your old number because they would use that to verify that you’re you - i.e. Telstra, who would have your old licence number so you can open more services/port/etc.

OPTUS customers, you're mad, you're angry. Just come over the TELSTRA! This comes from a Testra shareholder. Get with the strength and support Aussies.

🧵 Three months ago I signed up with Telstra for a phone number. Ever since, I've been through a cycle of them disabling my service and going in-store to have it fixed, only for them to disable the service the next day. I kept paying my bills while trying to have it resolved.

@Telstra Doesn't go to our houses thanks to the LNP so we get sub standard internet. FTTN is crap! 5G is pretty useless too. Sure, faster speeds but still the same useless penetration into buildings as before.
