He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

Then page you sent to me onto tells me there’s no issue with the service yet clearly there is as I’m sitting at home 1.9km from a Telstra tower and I have 1 bar of signal strength on a iPhone 12. This meant the expenditure could be deferred. It was not a technical or a people problem. It was a pass the buck problem.

My personal I pad and my work I pad both with cellular connections with Telstra never received a text at all or picked up on my phone receiving the message but no alarm. My Fitbit that gets all my texts didn’t get the text.

This raises a question whether these calls were made in Telstra only cells. If yes, this raises a possible use case for satellite, for roaming carriers to beam to these cells for emergency.
