@Telstra Wow well done. Then page you sent to me onto tells me there’s no issue with the service yet clearly there is as I’m sitting at home 1.9km from a Telstra tower and I have 1 bar of signal strength on a iPhone 12. Good work #timetoleavetelstra

F@£k you @Telstra never EVER have I had service this poor..I hope my contract is almost done so I can take every thing I own FAR away from it. When someone says ‘we’ve booked a technician for you and this ones for real’ you know you’re dealing with an unprofessional company.

@Telstra has the worst customer service. “To stop the harassment of your 83 yo father in a Nursing Home we need to write up an official complaint otherwise it will be never ending”

  • EmergencyBK

@nat_ofoibles Oh wow, that’s how I felt calling this guy during the week, lucky he already knew, had reported it to Telstra, but they still hadn’t done anything. He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

  • BryanS81

@Telstra Normally pathetic yes. Not sure why I’m bothering staying with Telstra as I live 2km from a tower and have less then 2 bars service

  • BryanS81

@Telstra I shouldn’t have to. I’m paying a premium for a subpar service. I have reported it to you now you can investigate it and fix it!!

@MarkoMatvikov Hahahha no not at all, I just wanted to pass along that during the swapping over process he said the exact same thing. For years with Telstra any kind of contact had been infuriatingly terrible for him, and he couldn't speak highly enough of the Aussie people walking him through everything and being patient

  • Inferno357
    Pepehands (@Inferno357) reported

@Mark49438347 @PubRockVersion Telstra is required to operate payphones as part of the Universal Service Obligations, except they're now free because they can't be bothered fixing them everytime some some bogan smashes open the coin box.

  • BrowntownBrew
    Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@diss_presso @robb_j_m The problem was that Telstra weren't going to upgrade as they were using the money to install mobile towers and letting the fixed line to rot. Before being sold off they were looking at upgrade paths, but that all got stopped. Telstra were only interested in killing competition

  • johnw200
    john west (@johnw200) reported

@youngpac775 @omowereyso I don’t mean Tesla car, I mean her telecom/ network provider just like mtn, in Australia the use Telstra and some others

  • Prowerock1
    peter rowe (@Prowerock1) reported

@AvidCommentator I have abandoned NBN. Service is atrocious as it is mediated through the Telcos. You can’t get to an NBN tech directly. They cancelled five appointments made for me via Telstra saying not an NBN problem. But it was just like the other three times. Now have Telstra 5 G. So simple

  • JayJay1094727

@lightgolightly @AlanBixter @Telstra When you have tech trouble in Thailand, do you have to negotiate with an ai chat bot?

  • pawsandwillow
    Paws and Willow (@pawsandwillow) reported

@Telstra why is my site blocked on your network!!! I have contacted Telstra soo many times with every worker Ive spoken to tell me to fill in a form and wait… this is costing my business money!!!

  • deedledodedum
    parasocial relationship detector (@deedledodedum) reported

@odden56 @thedose__ Telstra is awful, Australia has some of the worst internet speed for any developed country.

  • eevblog
    Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported

@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.
