@lachiemc64 I’m told we’ve no choice now FRAUDBAND is in our area. So much for lnp’s free market bullshit. Only when it suits their greedy parasitic mates. ADSL, though slow, never drops out although I note Telstra will still charge like the “Light Brigade” to fix the loose copper to my home

@Telstra with that kind of a mistake it's pretty bad, I am sure you agree. Today's employee apologised, explained we could pay it out at a lesser figure (we negiotated it down), & fixed the so-called plan change on my phone last week's employee said was not possible. #billshock

@MelanieTait I use ALDImobile for all calls & personal internet use $35pm (I have a separate work laptop with its own SIM for WFH) They use the Telstra network so in theory you get the same speed & coverage as Telstra with the added bonus of not having to deal with that parasite of a company.

@annaspargoryan @MelanieTait Telstra is notoriously expensive. If you can go with a carrier that uses the Telstra network, you get a lot of the benefits at half the price.

@MelanieTait $30/month Telstra pre-paid. Unlimited calls +texts. 2.5GB data/month, but unused data accrues in a data bank up to 100GB. I have 100GB accrued (from previous incarnations of plan with more data?) I hammered my mobile data for a week (home internet down), didn't touch data bank.
