@lachiemc64 I’m told we’ve no choice now FRAUDBAND is in our area. So much for lnp’s free market bullshit. Only when it suits their greedy parasitic mates. ADSL, though slow, never drops out although I note Telstra will still charge like the “Light Brigade” to fix the loose copper to my home

@Telstra 5G internet has been down most of the day in Lennox Head (2478) - when will it be back up and why does it always go down when we get heavy rain!!???

@telstra reception in Vermont South (near Sewart close) is crap. I logged a call (INC 40508228) as a @Telstra Gold member 6 months ago, today they told me it was fixed. It ain’t fixed. Still no 4G/5G and I’m paying for 4G backup on my NBN modem. This is beyond a joke.

@markbouris "no national debt .. yep zero" because he sold over $70 billion in public assets to pay down government debt, with major privatizations including Telstra (approx. 49% in 97-99), the remaining Commonwealth Bank shares, all major federal airports, and the National Rail Corporation.

  • eevblog
    Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported

@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.

    Pepehands (@Inferno357) reported

@Mark49438347 @PubRockVersion Telstra is required to operate payphones as part of the Universal Service Obligations, except they're now free because they can't be bothered fixing them everytime some some bogan smashes open the coin box.

@chopwisegamji @BobBurn97207272 No infrastructure build is complete lie though, what about West Connex and Bruce highway. Upgrade on Adelaide Hospital, Footscray hospitals and NBN ( never liked it) all done during last 29 years. And don’t forget labour sold of remaining Telstra ownership on 2011!! Come at me

@TheNoisyTrunk @SenatorSeanBell This numpty claimed that the DV policy at Telstra was "anti male".... in a Senae Hearing. A policy to protect women from violent men using a carriage service to abuse and intimidate !

@MichaelWestBiz @sainsburychina Loyalty programs are the ultimate con. Telstra just emailed me to say my mobile plan will be increasing by $5/mth, but my service won't improve. I'm unwillingly signed up to their "Rewards" - something built into the pricing. This should be outlawed.

12 years at Oracle. BT, Vodafone, Telstra, Home Depot, UPS - enterprise server tuning. Turns out, optimising a gaming PC and a production server have a lot in common. Latency, throughput, stability. 25 years of that experience is baked into FAST.

@MarkAClarkson @Telstra I left Telstra years ago and not going back unless they are the only one left in the market. Telstra is the most expensive service provider in the world. They are also not honest about the blackspot in many parts of remote areas.

@ArtistAffame @Brocklesnitch I used to ring Telstra after my night shift and I’d doze off and wake up and still be on hold so I’d hang up and go to bed and try again next morning.
