Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • peterw peter (@peterw) reported

Coming up on 42hrs with an online chat through the @Telstra app. Started with virtual assistant and now on to the fifth person. Appalling customer service.

  • cranemary1 Mary Crane (@cranemary1) reported

@RandaltsRandal @Telstra I just put the phone down on these people

  • WilliamCStubbs William Smith-Stubbs 🐨 (@WilliamCStubbs) reported

In other news, we're preparing to move into a new office. In an area owned by Telstra Velocity. And the most they could offer (despite there being FTTP installed) is 80Mbps down and 5Mbps up. In 2021. I bought an @Optus 5G modem and... it's astoundingly good.

  • RandaltsRandal 🕯️ 💧Teresa Randal 🕯️ (@RandaltsRandal) reported

WARNING New @Telstra scam Man calls and tells you Telstra has detected that people are using your internet connection & it's not secure. Then tries to extract information so that he can 'fix' it. I asked him for the full name and a/c number of the account holder & he hung up.

  • ArthurMarsh2 Arthur Marsh マッシュ・アー (@ArthurMarsh2) reported

@Telstra network coverage has dropped out in Sleeps Hill tunnel, Eden Hills SA 5050 when there used to be complete coverage through the tunnel when taking the train. Online reporting requires a street address which does not exit.

  • AussiemacJ iDrew (@AussiemacJ) reported

@RandaltsRandal @cheryl_kernot @Telstra Sadly #Telstra call centres are located in Manila & Mumbai. Underpaid employees may have been tempted to on sell data. I understand Telstra has frequent screwups regarding the protection of customer details. Telstra, of course, would say Siebel is secure. It isn’t - IMO !

  • Tugzrida Cameron Steel (@Tugzrida) reported

@Telstra Yes, I’m getting the survey because I recently moved to Telstra. I really don’t need any help with the survey, you just need to let your website team know that the TLS certificate for that domain is broken.

  • elroyonline elroy (@elroyonline) reported

@andrew_shaw23 @dev_enter @DrEmmaJane Could you get an old voda or Telstra (whoever you’re with) modem and chuck a sim in it - then put up an antenna up high. That way you’ve also got a router set up etc (happy to help with set up if you need it).

  • Pepper_hm Heather Moran (@Pepper_hm) reported

@Telstra I sent a DM and was palmed off privately. At least brush me off publicly so it doesn't appear like you actually helped.... the service (lack of) from Telstra has been appalling.

  • UBhaiyya Urban Bhaiyya (@UBhaiyya) reported

@Telstra ur in store staff is plain rude and unprofessional. I was told that changing my prepaid no. to a postpaid no. is a complicated process & they cannot do it! I went to @VodafoneAU next door and they were happy to port the no. in less than 15 mins @andy_penn
