    @Telstra It would appear the mobile tower at Barraba has a fault. I've lost all service since about 6:30pm.

    @HoganNerd you know a couple of weeks ago Telstra made it much harder to pay a bill online. All of a sudden we had to login with usernames and passwords, instead of just clicking 'pay bill'. Happened really recently. Just saying

    @joshgnosis Exetel switched from Optus to Telstra's network about a year ago. I had to provide my license number again when activating the new SIM, so presumably they hadn't held on to that data from when I originally signed up. Hopefully they were validating ID with gov rather than Optus.

    @RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom I dropped Telstra after a year of being mucked about with overcharging and dead modems and took my phone NBN internet and electricity to AGL. Outstanding service since then. And $60/month cheaper.

    @hughriminton It’s not really worth it with post paid contracts to cancel. If you switch to Telstra, you’ll end up paying more per month for less, but in the end Optus still has your data and possibly the hacker(s). Better off asking for a discount?
