@Telstra - after being told I would only wait 6 mins, ended up waiting for an hour and someone answered and just hung up on me. Thanks for that. The recurring voice mail advice of going to Telstra/fix is pointless when the issue is my internet connection.

It is horrible that we are now into the third business day, and @Telstra’s network continues to play disconnected messages for numbers which aren’t disconnected. Businesses are already doing it tough due to COVID and you do this. Customers may never call back once they hear that.

@MrDTJames @Telstra Maybe always was. Btw I went to the telecommunications ombudsman last year, after about 6 months of trying to get them to connect me to NBN (the problem was with Telstra not NBN). It really works

@Telstra I did get a response finally, it was regarding an outage of mobile service in my area. However there is no ETA on when this ‘planned maintenance’ will be corrected

@BrettleyWilford @charliepick The video is bad because it doesn’t present the counter argument. Technically now that news access is done over the Internet, Telstra gets benefit from the news too by people paying for phone service. So why shouldn’t Telstra pay also? It’s a shakedown of foreign companies.
