    @digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

    @up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

    Right, cancelling my @Telstra account (which Telstra linked to a TIO complaint about an entirely unrelated prepaid SIM) has allowed them to refund me without validating my identity against the unrelated account. Great success!

    @JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.

    Hey @Telstra. My account restrictions were supposed to be fixed within two hrs. Three hours later and 30 f'n years of poor service don't hold well for me. If I did this to my clients they would go elsewhere. As will I. Finally.

    @sandylanceley telstra have consistently reduced service while increasing prices. they were handed an artificial monopoly by the government w/NBN. also, refer CBA and MBP. Both had competitors well before privatisation, and both *sectors* are now objectively far worse for consumers.

    @Telstra Email difficulty!!! Yes. They have not been able to resolve! They asked me restart the application and try other applications etc! and offered to forward all emails to another emails. They said that @Telstra is aware of the complex!!! Problem and working on a fix!!!

    @Telstra I have been speaking to your ppl and yes, troubleshooting for the whole day. No it’s not fixed. Fault has been lodged. Don’t appreciate being told it’s the season of forgiveness when I’m asking for a service I pay for to be fixed. Weird, and deflects responsibility to me

    @p4ndr_ Not true. The privatisation of Telstra was essential to driving down prices, increasing competition & coverage. No other company would’ve entered the Australian market properly if they had to compete against a government owned telco.

    @sandylanceley mismanagement is a separate issue. intentionally driving a govt entity off a cliff (which is what happened; my uncle worked for telstra his whole life and saw the change from the inside) and then privatising because it crashed into the ground isn't something to be praised
