  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • jackfjack6 Black Jack Hickey - LNP Stalker (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

General alert. If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

  • jackfjack6 Black Stiletto Jack - Very Unpleasant to Trolls (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

@MikeySlezak @Telstra Experience says go straight to Complaint. Was/is a group in SA - know their shit. Once spent 7 hours continuous on line with Telstra - not Complaints Group. Hope still there to help.

  • jackfjack6 Stiletto Black Jack - Very Unpleasant to Trolls (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

@ShiannonC Squillions. Telstra, NBN and AFP have been aware for at least 4 months. No idea what they done to resolve this scam issue.

  • GordonGhekoAus GG (@GordonGhekoAus) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Just realised my iPhone XR doesn’t do 5G … I think. My bad

  • PalliThordarson Palli Thordarson (@PalliThordarson) reported from Bowral, State of New South Wales

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@Telstra just got fobbed by a lady in India who said there was an outage in my area, when checked there is no known.outage she was absolutely pathetic

  • HarjoodJones Harjood Jones (@HarjoodJones) reported

@lucethoughts Get them 2-3 times a week Pretty much always naming Telstra as the service Obviously a scam as I haven't had a Telstra connection since the 90s... But have some fun - feign shock & horror String them along & ask for advice (in tears) I'll leave the test to you

  • CycleCosmic Cosmic_Cycle (@CycleCosmic) reported

@lucethoughts This is a scam - has been for a few years. And very annoying with the constant bombardment of these calls. How is that Telstra / NBN cannot provide an effective blocking service for these type of scams? #auspol

  • ArtifexH ArtifexH ☕🏳️‍⚧️ (@ArtifexH) reported

@mels_mck @Telstra Same with me, it's pretty damn pathetic. i'm switching to Optus today.

  • DanielRycen drycenn (@DanielRycen) reported

Never pay your @Telstra bills in advance. Since November I have been trying to get my account credit back.. and they just keep sending me letters with "you have X amount of credit 🤭" Give me back my money!

  • onewildpreclife Annie Wilson (@onewildpreclife) reported

@valeriekhoo @Telstra I had same issue 2 days ago. Unacceptable wait. (When I finally got on to the overworked employee, she couldn’t fix the problem (I didn’t know I had). Thankfully, NBN guy who came next day was a gem, worked REALLY hard. Found cable from house corroded, hence signal dropping out.)

  • kittycati Elizabeth Simpson (@kittycati) reported

@ABCaustralia @abc730 I rang up Telstra and spoke to a staff member who could not understand what I wanted to cancel the new contract and have no internet only a phoneline. It took me to say “they don’t have a computer or even use the data on their mobile phones” for the person to get it & cancel it.

  • sarah_andros88 Xr globalised (@sarah_andros88) reported

Thats why my reception is never what my contract with telstra states ir is

  • potrzebieggm George Michaelson (@potrzebieggm) reported

The bit about this telstra mis-selling scandal nobody talks about is the underlying cost of delivery is completely disjoint from the price: it costs all real network providers close to nothing-per-gigabyte. Its all a giant scam.

  • KarlCottonSpy John ******* (@KarlCottonSpy) reported

@D_Melissa2 Well done to all who stood up to Telstra but this should never have happened. But looks like the fine should have been bigger as Telstra and ASIC “agreed” on a suitable fine. Nothing for those impacted beyond being “allowed” to keep their phones.
