Thanks for coming (@VeteranDave) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Asking for @telstra help from my Twitter friends. I wasted 3 hours with their help service on Friday. Cannot view Kayo footy because download speed is too slow. Recent occurrences. My question. HTF do you get someone to come to your house and fix it? Is that still possible? 😡

@Telstra I have a landline in Melbourne 3000 that does not work at all. I have the same number since 2005. It stop working for 1 month now. We are a small business and our clients can’t contact us. Business is hard and we are abandoned out here @cityofmelbourne please help?

  • jamesphumphreys
James (@jamesphumphreys) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@NBN_Australia @Telstra what does one have to do to get something fixed? 6 weeks of back and forth and nobody can sort the problem. Surely this can't be too hard.

  • TimothyJ_23
Tim (@TimothyJ_23) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra Nope. 4G. Just everything grinds to a halt. Slow to load at Halftime break. I understand load increases at those times when lots of people are on their phones but it seems telstra is the only network that really struggles here.

  • TheVision_13

The Telstra logo on the 50 looks so bad, really doesn’t need the blue background

✨ Miss Natski ✨ (@Natski82) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Jane_L_Kennedy @Telstra And of course he believed it, afterall, the people at telstra told him the NBN called. 6 hours they kept him on the phone and ended up costing my dad $19,000. Absolutely ridiculous and when he called telstra, they didn't give a ****. Switched to optus. Safer /3

  • czaxx
Ben (@czaxx) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Received a phishing call allegedly from @Telstra - a little more clever than usual - they offered a 40% discount on my bill for 12mths & when I said "sure, apply the discount" they said they just needed some"verification": name&DoB. Never give these details to unverified callers.

  • Kate_B_Melb
Kate (@Kate_B_Melb) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@beourmate can we have an update please for those in Melbourne who don’t have Facebook. I’m generally a bit of a doormat but even I am frustrated and grouchy and upset. 1st world problems and all that - but there is really no excuse in 2023. Can’t you piggyback off Telstra??

@ScottRhodie @Telstra Even their “Telstra Connect” Enterprise customer portal is sheer trash. Errors, missing services, exports rarely work. So over their ****.

  • BillieHill64
Ade (@BillieHill64) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@MattThomas1405 I feel your pain. I once had an issue with Telstra that meant we ended up with no internet. After 3 months of useless advice and zero help from them I ended up diagnosing & fixing the problem myself. I now try and avoid dealing with them at all…

  • ClareAliceMurph
Clare Murphy (@ClareAliceMurph) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Anyone else hit by a @Telstra outage? My home internet’s been down since yesterday afternoon and there’s been no notification or estimate of when it will be restored. It’s also not showing up in the Telstra outage checker.

  • ClareAliceMurph

@erinwatsonlynn @MrTimCallanan @Telstra Right?! Funnily enough, that info didn’t help explain why they disconnected the service or couldn’t reconnect it.

  • MitchRobinson_
Mitch Robinson (@MitchRobinson_) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@bkubel That’s Telstra, did #StayHome March last year then #StaySafe most of the last year or so, and updated to #LetsVaxx around like June. So far as I know it’s on all phones they support

@PieNorthern Not a bad patch I had a mate who lived and worked up there for Telstra as a linie and he stayed there for decades.

  • mikjcal
Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@3bsBruce @SydGuy78 Process was simple as with @VodafoneAU - on the new iPhone just went to settings > mobile > add eSIM from nearby phone - took a few minutes😳😳 Surprised the others are having such a hard time. You’d think Telstra of all carriers given their size would have their **** together.

@JimThom90458694 People on radio saying Mira Bashi Customer Experience Telstra is ignoring customer feedback?????????

  • akintowarlock
    D.J. Grey (@akintowarlock) reported

@AlboMP They also forced companies such as Telstra to sell me down the river, giving them unsolicited access to every single bit of what I do online 24/7. I remind you I have absolutely no criminal record. And even access the databases of the government, any and all legal forms I ever interacted with or approached or even considered, even supermarket transactions and camera data are delved into by them, posting the contents online ridiculing, mocking and insulting them. Even though they are the ones who have actively across the board disadvantaged me to a point of non-survival.

  • deirdreritchi10

Same with Telstra. Anyone who has hearing issues finds it very frustrating when you are speaking with someone from overseas with a strong accent.

@theinfradev @ruicharadrius I'm not revising history. The plan was fttp everywhere, with Telstra and optus copper being bought out to move them to the NBN. The copper was never going to be used for the NBN. Look at the Telstra definitive agreements from 2011.
