Good to see Telstra still haven't been able to sort their useless coverage out in the CBD. Why am I paying for 5G when 4g can't even send a msg. #Worst

  • lousanti Lous (@lousanti) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra looks like you are at it again. Want to cancel Foxtel, almost impossible. Telling me my service number is incorrect. Would like to speak to someone but guess what, Telstra don’t employ humans! Utterly pathetic!

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DarkMatterzine @Telstra Likewise, the trouble with no many Australian industries is that genuine competition does not exist. It's often a choice of who is less worse than the others, not which is actually good in terms of service.

  • Cashcharlie Cashel Walsh (@Cashcharlie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra we were told we had to switch to nbn before 30/01 so signed up. Guy came yesterday couldn’t finish it due to some issue. said Telstra would be out today to complete - no one has showed and no internet! My wife works from home and needs the internet urgently!! Any advice?

Got my phone fixed, cheers Telstra. Day 2 of 8 straight done. Tired as all hell. So damn homesick. Sunburn still hurts like a m'f'er. Time for bed and a fresh day.. today's been long.

  • _heleali alisha. (@_heleali) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Love ya Telstra, thanks for dropping out my sim card and cutting me off the network for 5-7 business days until a new one is sent 😒 can't text, can't call 👍

  • doclarkins Dr Peter Larkins (@doclarkins) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Great service this morning from “Jack”at Telstra store in south melbourne ✅👏- sorted email issue in under 10 mins- just as I thought - someone at Telstra cancelled my email account in process of changing Foxtel subscription @Telstra #thanksjack

  • Natski82 ✨ Miss Natski ✨ (@Natski82) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It's a new service being set up, so that everything is via telstra, because of the nbn, so when the second technician came out, they said it would be connected by Jan 5th. He assumed it would be to coincide with the next bill, but nothing

  • NigelRichardson Nigel Richardson (@NigelRichardson) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Got there in the end. Thank you for following up. Extraordinarily hard to make contact with support team though - multiple attempts / hours lost trying to connect to chat. Frustrating. But now resolved. Thank you.

  • KmanIs Kristian Stapley (@KmanIs) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra what’s happened to toe service? I got told at the Northcote store at lunchtime they were too busy to see anyone, I sat on the 24/7 app for 1.5hrs waiting a response, last time I dared call I got the “COVID call centre closed” message. How does the average punter get help

  • NigelRichardson Nigel Richardson (@NigelRichardson) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I have a query about my latest bill. Your phone service told me to message your team online - and then hung up on me. And my messages through your online portal have gone unanswered for the past hour. Any suggestions as to how I can talk to someone ? Thanks in advance.

  • Tim_Coronel Mit Lenoroc (@Tim_Coronel) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@David_Bonnici @BridieEV Luckily my partner’s mobile is on Optus (mine is Telstra) and she managed to get a signal so her permit was viewable

  • mektronik mektronik (@mektronik) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MD00042 @abrasion Employers or idiot HR? Pretty sure I know people at Telstra that would take you. Have you tried Servian?

  • ComminsSally Sally Commins (@ComminsSally) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I’m a mobile customer of 15 years and have been threatened with disconnection today. I have been patiently waiting a decision from Telstra on a contested fee for six weeks - I have called, emailed and live chatted and have got not a decision or reply back from Telstra.

  • timothy_kaye TAK (@timothy_kaye) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Haven’t removed and re-installed. Seemed to be an issue prior to 14.3. I’ll try that.

  • lalycia Leesh (@lalycia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@sadiesjogren @SuperNetball I think (not a Telstra customer so happy to be corrected) that the free Live Passes are only for Telstra Customers, so have always been limited to Australia. Might have been able to be used with roaming? Not sure, I’ve always paid for my subscription to the app.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • triveselo Triveselo (@triveselo) reported

@davidbewart And they used the existing copper network which Telstra, knowing it was to be bought back by the government, had not maintained for years.

  • craznar Christopher Burke 🇦🇺 (@craznar) reported

@soragon @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia Yep - Telstra HFC had me at 100/2 for over a decade with barely a technical hitch on the way. NBN on the other hand refuse to even address an issue if it isn't an issue at the exact moment they take the ticket on.

  • MSpichkova Dr Maria Spichkova (@MSpichkova) reported

The end result after the whole day lost: @telstra support centre confirmed the #nbn technician will not come toad. This is the only solution they were able to provide. I am very “impressed” by this service. Considering now other options for internet connection. Any suggestions?

  • MrScottBlack Scott Black🎙 (@MrScottBlack) reported

@Telstra is great at taking over $500 a month from a Not-For-Profit. They fail miserably at customer service. I was transferred between nine departments and none of them knew what the service was on our bill and the final one just hung up on me.

  • RobWhit025 RobWhit (@RobWhit025) reported

@GamersNexus A couple of years ago, I'd have said no. But Australia finally has good competition vs Telstra (our biggest comms provider) and I'm finally able to get 250Mbps unlimited through AussieBroadband. 84USD per month, had one issue in 18 months and solved with a 2 minute phone call.

  • blakeha467 Blake Harris (@blakeha467) reported

@Telstra hey guys, I’m having trouble accessing the internet on my phone? Just keeps saying no internet connection yet it’s saying I have full service and 4G????

  • sebasbo83 Sebastian Blanco (@sebasbo83) reported

@Telstra It says "Mobile plan - Small". Btw, I'm trying again through the Chat in the app and different person but still not someone that understands what I'm saying. Can it be that I'm that unlucky to get the two reps that are new or uninstructed? Or is the service just bad?

  • mikebradio Mike Bennett (@mikebradio) reported

@Telstra I have been dealing with an ongoing NBN issue for several months and this morning, your operator called to organise another engineer (the 1st one was told by Telstra that they couldn't connect to the node 50mtrs from my home.) She hung up when I asked for a time slot!!!

  • elwoodfan elwoodfan (@elwoodfan) reported

@winsordobbin @Telstra They are good at charging but not good at fixing issues. Had no mobile data for a month but seem in no rush to fix the issue

  • sebasbo83 Sebastian Blanco (@sebasbo83) reported

@Telstra Thanks for your reply. I'll look at the plans, I know I was going to get moved to a new plan as mine was no longer available. So to confirm, the message I received today was in fact from you and this support person saying it wasn't was a mistake?
