@Jeff_Sparrow Try once you've connected. - Not being able to contact the supplier (NBN) and the source of the issue directly. - Once you have lodged a ticket, being actively blocked from contacting support. @Telstra IVR: Your ticket is in progress, you receive updates through the App

  • djaw85 Dj (@djaw85) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@tomwoodau @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia Our next-door neighbour has @Telstra an has had no issues. It’s interesting that the cable/wire issue doesn’t seem to be affecting all providers atm - just @Optus... absolutely poor customer service also

  • katrinabicket Katrina (@katrinabicket) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Now @Telstra apparently have the required info.....didn’t believe me the first 12 time’s I said it mind you......but still my order from 7 May has not arrived. Cool service 🙄🙄🙄

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord Likely to be just Optus' fixed backhaul, no reports of an issue with Telstra I can find, and Optus mobile data working. @Optus please provide more details of this significant outage! (ping @NBN_Australia)

  • scousehelen Scouse Helen(Helen Drinoczky) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (@scousehelen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra i moved house in december and am still having several problems with my foxtel with telstra. Twice on to complaints dept but more issues started. Dodgy app/website and massive waits on the phone.😡 it started before covid. Disgraceful service.

  • alexycyap Alexander Yap (@alexycyap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I bought 3 prepaid wifi dongles, each 3GB data, from @Telstra online store weeks ago, didn't get any tracking info. Last week received 3 prepaid phones each 50MB data. Not what I paid for! Couldn't get through to anyone on chat or phone. Wrote online complaint but no response.

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

A national Outage of TIPT thanks for not letting your customers know @Telstra .... yes I’ve checked the outage page... it’s my account manager that I have to email that tells me there’s a problem!

  • nzicecool k6a w12e in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🇦🇺🦘 (@nzicecool) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Sorry to say this @Telstra no one appears to be helping out sorting my Internet connection issue. Today is the 10th day with drop outs at least every 2-3hrs.

  • timothy_kaye TAK (@timothy_kaye) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Lol. Telstra outage. Just FKN hot spot.

  • andyjay_81 Andrea Jackson (@andyjay_81) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Cancel @NBN_Australia install through @Telstra (a story in itself) using the app to continue to see out our contract on ADSL but continue to get calls to book another install time. Try calling to resolve and they won’t take my call despite an email telling me to call 😡

  • TomReynolds_AU Töm Réÿnöldš ❌ (@TomReynolds_AU) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Got one of those scam calls from “ @Telstra technical support” Honestly, for a scam attempt she was really rude. Tip: if you’re scamming me, be nice. I just kept talking off mic and being quieter and finished with a whistle. Not my best effort 2/10.

  • andyjay_81 Andrea Jackson (@andyjay_81) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I know there’s bigger issues out there in the world, but dealing with @Telstra shits me up the wall and shouldn’t be this hard!!! #FirstWorldProblems

  • scousehelen Scouse Helen(Helen Drinoczky) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (@scousehelen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Hi Matthew, i got a Telstra text & my channels were blocked & F1040 on 26th. I finally got my service resumed on 27th but the bill is overcharging me $100s again. I have not heard from a manager up to now even though i asked for contact asap. My issues started Dec 12th.

  • nukekitty verx 'gec' kallisti (@nukekitty) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Nowhere near as bad as it was right now

  • JohnnyLydon jk (@JohnnyLydon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Trumble (sic) you are the mug. A chancer who got lucky in the dial up Internet era & you thought you knew it all. The decaying ex Telstra infrastructure you you said would give us a quicker cheaper nbn is a slow moving disaster. It is inadequate & will cost billions to replace

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @djaw85 @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia @Telstra Yeah must be an Optus backhaul issue

  • Hauser_Mike Mike Hauser (@Hauser_Mike) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Askgerbil @DoctorKarl @TurnbullMalcolm Actually the original purchase of the Telstra cable network, was to remove and compensate Telstra as a network, and provide NBN with infrastructure for laying their cables

  • dolloppy Dolloppy (@dolloppy) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra you’ve just lost another customer. Never have I had such bad , incompetent “service”

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ivanhapac Ivan Harrison (@ivanhapac) reported

Oh @Optus no wonder you're net profits are taking a hit. Terrible ADSL connection speeds for the princely sum of $85 pm. Yet found out from one of your service team @NBN_Australia has been in our area since March for $75 pm! A paltry $10 off for the next 6 months. Hello @Telstra

  • johnny_doe2010 Johnny Doe 🔻 (@johnny_doe2010) reported

@chrismurphys @Telstra First off, the TIO can intervene if Telstra aren't doing their job. You can create a case on the TIO website, Telstra will be levied a small fine and they'll have to prioritise your issue. Is NBN available at your house?

  • cwgardiner Craig Gardiner (@cwgardiner) reported

@Telstra Hi Tori, I’m a regular visitor to Yarrawonga and the 4G speed has slowed over the past 6 -9 month. It’s almost impossible to work from the caravan park during the day because the internet is so slow.

  • paul4589 Paul (@paul4589) reported

@loutosetto @Optus Where I am, Telstra NBN is the only choice. Feedback from the teenagers is that it is stable and slow. NBN may have been dealing with the shock of most of Sydney staying home for the last few days watching STAN or Netflix.

  • Covid20209 Covid2ndwave (@Covid20209) reported

@chrismurphys @Telstra IINET they provide great support majority of tech is here small percentage in South Africa. Telstra support is offshore and rubbish

  • tomthehum tomthehum @KRIMAAAHHHH and Myhtra's chest (@tomthehum) reported

Telstra can go **** itself. **** internet service

  • Leel06Lee Lynda Lee (@Leel06Lee) reported

@Telstra You`ve Been Bloody Useless - I Just want to send emails & you seem to freeze it all & drafts only hold the first bit - so I`m typing away & go to send & Bugger! Telstra`s Stuft Again. When we need COMMUNICATION the most Telstra Let`s you Down down down

  • Elliott1950 Brian Elliott (@Elliott1950) reported

@chrismurphys @Telstra Telstra can only charge you if the fault is proven to be on your property (from front boundary inwards). They normally test/find the fault and then quote to fix based on the hourly rate. If the fault is definitely on your property then you can get any licensed repairer to repair

  • PMGPSC Anna Davidson AKA Pfizer x 2 for me! (@PMGPSC) reported

@MdmAbsentMinded @DaveMilbo @Telstra Seriously, I have more chance of reforming the #ICEG than solving the **** storm that is Telco service in Australia.

  • Chrisb8448 💧Chris B (@Chrisb8448) reported

@chrismurphys @Telstra you want a better service, you may be better with Optus 5G, which we are on, here in Wanneroo an outer suburb of Perth. If 5G is not in your area, then suggest you go with fixed wireless. NBN is a very vulnerable system to faults; ie weather, especially lightning & power surges
