@Telstra refer to my complaint via Twitter on 11/2 for last time this happened.

  • daveando Dave Anderson (@daveando) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It was a plumber that accidentally cut the cable on our property. We are running a new cable back to the pit but need telstra to connect it back in. The support team this a.m helped but I’m still going around in circles with some folks on chat not getting the issue at all

  • daveando Dave Anderson (@daveando) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra My NBN is with iinet but I was instructed to contact Telstra because it’s Telstra infrastructure. If I’m mistaken please let me know. I’m chatting to support right now and it seems we are getting close on getting some sort of answer :)

  • mr_billiam Bill Journee (@mr_billiam) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Telco support in Australia has never been what I would term call great, but @Telstra’s My Telstra chat support option (which is now the ✨only✨ way you can get support, because why would you be able to call a telecom company?) is so abysmal it should literally be illegal.

  • millionsofmyles Myles Harris (@millionsofmyles) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Phones and NBN down for a restaurant right now. Can take cash only... Running out of time with the on hold eh.

  • Denise97477477 Denni (@Denise97477477) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @Telstra Always. It’s garbage

  • smoldemi Michael Smolders (@smoldemi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @Telstra my nbn connection dies temporarily again, and still my "smart" modem doesn't kick over to 4G as promised. Why does this keep happening? Remote service repair from last time still didn't fix it.

  • ScottAndNadia Scott and Nadia (@ScottAndNadia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra we have been trying all day to talk to someone about connecting the nbn cable that is taped to the power pole at the front of house 🏡 to our actual house? I would suggest you overseas call centre needs training we have 4 hang ups and 3 x call the number we can’t help??

  • ScottAndNadia Scott and Nadia (@ScottAndNadia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra We already had it connected but the cable came down off the house 🏡 and needs to be re attached it’s been down for about 4 weeks all your connections are for new connections etc .. we have everything modem etc just need the cable connected we also need the Foxtel satellite 📡

  • gwendabgilbert Gwen Gilbert (@gwendabgilbert) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@RedFiddler I use Aldi - for phone and all data, hotspot to tablet, computer, TV, etc. Can buy package to suit your needs, it runs on the Telstra network. Have used it for some years and am really happy with it.

  • Niksterisms Nikki Clare (@Niksterisms) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@geek0naught I’d love to see it too. I mean even Telstra couldn’t recognise the AFLW season as footy being back. So they need to shop around and promote the businesses that are willing to support the competition and not as an add on to the men’s publicity.

  • GigsyOSRS Gigs B) (@GigsyOSRS) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @iamchrisholden Its not about signing up, its their dumb stream service that crashes every 20 minutes forcing you to refresh the stream every time

  • matsionoah 💧Kerryn Gray (@matsionoah) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

😖was hacked using my phone data on laptop after ditching Telstra dongle. Ordered NBN wireless with TPG 17 March. No new NBN orders due to “global shortage” of parts from CHINA needed 2make connection box - SINCE JAN 21 - WAS until end April-May NOW end May-June. 6 MONTHS. WTF😡

  • petros_ioannou Petros Ioannou (@petros_ioannou) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra hey guys Any reports of Telstra Plus movie tickets not working? The redirect to Village Cinemas doesn’t work for me. Any idea why?

  • daveando Dave Anderson (@daveando) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra how and who do we contact to have the cable connected into the pit. The lead in line has been damaged and 4 hours on chat to support which netted me the same result ... nothing but nonsensical repetitive questions is infuriating. Who can we call? Anyone else know?

  • PetaPan17 -Peta- 🇨🇭🇨🇾🇺🇦🇷🇺 (@PetaPan17) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@marcywoolly It’s only Telstra users with the issue. Other carriers seem ok. I’m so mad. I’m on a competing country and got up at 5am, let me bloody vote 😭

  • CorrectWeight1 Aaron Meadows (@CorrectWeight1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MWhalan @lucethoughts I have that aswell. Call centres NEVER introduce themselves to get through to the person. We got it for free from @Telstra

  • matsionoah 💧Kerryn Gray (@matsionoah) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MeckeringBoy Got furious trying to get help from Telstra adding new dongle to Telstra a/c 12 hours on bloody chat - they messed it up & I furiously typing swore & wrote forget it I’m going to tpg!!

  • daveando Dave Anderson (@daveando) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Hi. No they haven’t figured it out.I’ve sent them your lead in support page. I keep getting different agents and I keep asking them to read the history. It’s a simple and clearly directed request but it’s circle work since 8pm last night. I have a support ID if I can DM?

  • WhatNowDerek Derek Myers (@WhatNowDerek) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @AFL , you wanna see the slow death of footy? Make it so Saturday arvo has horse racing on the tv instead of football, have Telstra remove it from their service and suddenly a generation of kids grow up without even seeing it. Unbelievably shortsighted.

  • FiggyBushLemons GrannyPI (@FiggyBushLemons) reported

@Telstra I've a 84 yo father living in Conondale has heart surgery and hasn't had his phone fixed for months. No phone just a old soldier guy...he writes to you, he rings he never gets looked after. Very sad .

  • mark_perry309 Mark Perry (@mark_perry309) reported

@Telstra Love how you guys just take the piss. Unbelievable poor service.

  • rafaelappleseed Seedapples (@rafaelappleseed) reported

@Telstra @jdude_tv So im having the same issue bougbt a iPhone xs on ebay and now its blocked 357211096108537

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported

so I ordered the Pixel 6 Pro with @Telstra and they can't find my order. help person literally asked me to copy paste the email into the chat window. so looks like I've been sitting here since Friday with no actual order in the system. what a joke

  • StingingPyjamas Mitchell steward (@StingingPyjamas) reported

@Telstra Myself and neighbours have done it all before, for years they tell us all we're in a poor service area and nothing can be done. I got even worse from around 3rd of June when they claimed to be upgrading local telstra over 6 days we're lucky to have any service while outside

  • mark_perry309 Mark Perry (@mark_perry309) reported

@Telstra No outages. Constant fault that Telstra won't fix.

  • PaddyR19 Pat Ryan (@PaddyR19) reported

@TRAVLIC @Telstra @NBN_Australia Rotting copper telegraph wires in water filled junction pits … never designed to support broadband. Thanks Malcolm!

  • StingingPyjamas Mitchell (@StingingPyjamas) reported

@Telstra As mentioned nobody is gonna pay telstra to test this theory it shouldn't be the customers job to fix a telstra problem

  • Firedingo Firedingo (@Firedingo) reported

@iDGiam @estate_lost @Bishop64 The issue is the fact it literally costs more than it makes to roll out the towers and maintain them. Telstra has admitted the only reason they even do it is for marketing purposes, heavily subsidised initially by the government/taxpayer.

  • mark_perry309 Mark Perry (@mark_perry309) reported

@Telstra Telstra made me take a day off and never came only to tell me they closed the fault which wasn't fixed. Not good enough.
