Anyone else getting calls from supposed Telstra advising because of naughty people corrupting our internet service that we will be cut off for 15 days. Little do they know with 4 girls in the household I’ll be better off. Ohhh if only it was true. Seriously though be careful.

  • leighchookoo Leigh T (@leighchookoo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra We have been without service for 3 days now, no internet, phone and no foxtel. How can a provider such as yourselves be down for 3 days.embarrassing..we pay over 300 dollars per month as a package we will be expecting quite a substantial discount on our next bill

  • TheMickeyG Michael (@TheMickeyG) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Sick and tired of ringing @Telstra every afternoon to try and sort out a order problem with @startrack nothing ever gets done despite happily giving me plenty of reference numbers, like that fixes it! #hopeless

  • lozturner1 Loz! (@lozturner1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra your internet service is absolutely putrid.

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I have reported the issue to Telstra, in some detail. Someone from Telstra was meant to call me back yesterday, they haven't. Never mind about the 'speed' of my service, I virtually have no service today.

  • RomerJon17 Römer Jonathan | Ansett (@RomerJon17) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I checked my mum's phone the wifi was enabled but not connected else where. I'll check my sisters phone when she comes back because she has a strongest hotspot. If the problem still not resolve, it must be someone in Frankston downloading Chris's files or the cable is corroded.

  • leighchookoo Leigh T (@leighchookoo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @Foxtel is there an issue with service in the Blackburn South area in Victoria again. Second time this week.. pay 400 a month for bad service .. again

@jbugs14 @NBN_Australia @VodafoneAU I am with Vodafone for my mobile. I don’t like them and the service isn’t good and they are just shit. Home internet with Telstra and gog fully converted to NBN so far so good

  • Alex_I_88 Alex (@Alex_I_88) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It improves when I go into the city. It seems to be a signal issue in Brunswick! I would normally say it may be something to do with the walls/building but as Optus works perfectly fine I can’t see that being the issue!

  • nchuah FairGo (@nchuah) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@xskinn @golly_golledge Yeah I've been getting scam calls from "Telstra". Each time they try a different scare. Folks be alert. If in doubt hang up and call Telstra.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CluTch_DuTch87 CluTchDutch (@CluTch_DuTch87) reported

@Telstra Not yet, would rather not go through the many hour process of, restarting routers disconnecting devices, changing cabling, DNS servers etc. which I already have done, only to wind up to the same conclusion that the issue is actually from Telstra’s end.

  • FairAusPol Lyn @Life Is Good (@FairAusPol) reported

@Ballyurra Prioe to NBN, my copper wired internet would stop, completely. Every single time it rained, a Telstra tech would need to call out to fix it. Fortunately, over a decade we had very few rainfalls. Only time drought is a positive 👍

  • whos_this_again Mark ‘Bux’ Bucksey - Слава Україні! (@whos_this_again) reported

Email today that @Telstra are increasing the cost of mobile plans mid contract.. 4 x mobiles on account = increase of $12 monthly.. I guess at least I was told this time! Oh, my 80GB mobile (which has never been reached) will increase to 180GB... why??? I couldn't use all 80GB!!!

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported

@CJHarvey56 The “two-party” system reminds of “systems” like Optus & Telstra where the customer/consumer/peasant still gets done over regardless of who is ascendent.

  • Ada_WitchQueen Ada always has the Last Word (@Ada_WitchQueen) reported

ISP: you should expect 50mbps download speed during peak hour internet usage times!! ISP (fineprint): 50% of customers actually experience higher than 25mbps during these hours thanks Telstra! why am i paying you $100 for lies and slow download speeds

  • xglossd sj 🛼 (@xglossd) reported

@agentsmart My only problem is there’s no reception in my estate. Telstra has best coverage and I still need wifi calling and my phone still doesn’t ring half the time 😒 The voda sim I had at one stage for a work phone didn’t work at all so had to use my personal phone for work.

  • CluTch_DuTch87 CluTchDutch (@CluTch_DuTch87) reported

@optoio I could literally put George R. R. Martin to shame with a novel so long with my issues with Telstra. We literally have no other choice!

  • jodez4 Jodez 💉💉💉 (@jodez4) reported

2.5 hrs & counting on chat support with @telstra to find missing payments. So far the support has tried to make me pay again several times, & told me to check with my bank. While I have done actual investigation and found that there seems to be 2 accounts for my number...
