Dude rings me on the phone and says he is here to fix our NBN which drops out intermittently 228 times a day and says “can you come out and open the gate” , I say “it’s not locked, slide it to the right”, he says “ no I can’t open it”. That’s confidence thanks Telstra!

Internet now been down since Tuesday of last week. Countless hours on hold on the phone to @Telstra And assurances it would be fixed. Technician apparently being sent yesterday still hasn’t arrived. A nightmare trying to work and study from home 😡

@revolios @Telstra I actually can’t agree with you more. The frustrating thing is I have been redeployed in another large company to help with the call centre backlog and I currently can’t do that because Telstra didn’t see the value in moving their own staff remotely.

@katehodgson_au It’s been the most unreliable service since the day we switched over. Every time it rains the net goes down and Telstra has just shrugged when we’ve complained. Now their call centres aren’t operating on the weekends and their live chat isn’t always online.

So anytime the weather is bad our internet dies. Tried to call @Telstra about it last night because we’re certain it’s a faulty modem but apparently their call centres are no longer 24 hrs. It’s going to be a long lockdown.

@Telstra An esim is digital. I got the regular prepaid sim at the store. They tried to connect the account to an esim for me. Couldn’t find the prepaid service on the ‘system’. Gave me the qr kit to add the account to esim.

@scottjou @Telstra The CSO I saw instore filled one out to override an issue with the credit check, he put it through while I sat next to him, that was on 27/1, I kept checking in every 2 days. Finally find out 6/2 what went on,now have to wait til 2moro 2 see if it’s sorted

@Telstra Yes I also tried that with the chat support. So now I’ve been told I can’t be helped by store people, chat people, and Twitter people (tho I didn’t really expect help here and thanks for at least responding) and calling Telstra is impossible.
