We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

Ian Falconer (@leftbrainstuff) reported@bigblueboom @SpaceX 1.2Gbps is not common. Starlink is not the fastest service around. Why it works so well is route optimisation. Starlink ground stations have only a few hops to reach their pop in Sydney. Optus, Telstra and NBN all have 30 to 40 hops from my location in outer metro Adelaide.
