@jen_browning @Telstra This week they have been doing maintenance on the mobile network while the NBN has been at its worst. I have missed 2 meetings because of drop outs where I get SOS only when home wifi is not working to mobile and countless hours of the wheel of death while items are loading.

@JulianBurnside @noplaceforsheep I gave up Telstra years ago. Had enough of hanging around their shop trying to sort out problems.

In league with the future

@JulianBurnside We quit Telstra after having more than 70 days of outage within 6 months and receiving some remarkably rude responses from them on Twitter. I’d only been a customer for 26 years

@JulianBurnside Left Telstra 21 years ago because of their ********* customer service went to Optus and never looked back. Lots more options these days unless you're in the outback. Change providers! Good luck!

@JulianBurnside Telstra is awful. A company that has a long history of predatory practises especially against poor people.

@JulianBurnside @RobertJohnHenr3 I am sorry to hear that. Telstra being part private has sadly taken away the idea of 'service' from what it should be either way it goes :(

@WhosFibbing @JulianBurnside I've had Telstra WiFi for nearly 2yrs & never had any issues

💉 new year, old me
(@wheeziemungo) reported
@AlanBixter @JulianBurnside @Telstra Not our experience. Phone, online, shop outlet, Twitter. Every (repeated) approach produced a “your problem has been solved (it hadn’t). How did we do?” Who can tell what finally propelled them into sending a technician. After 3 months of complaints!

@JulianBurnside Even when I worked for Telstra I used TPG, they're totally ****.

@AlanBixter @JulianBurnside @Telstra Yes, they respond. It’s the next step. Actually getting someone to fix it. Been that path, hasn’t been a joyous one. 😐

@actualfredsmith @JulianBurnside Seconded. One plus of moving away from rural area is not being held hostage by Telstra. I found seeking help actually distressing on some occasions: wait for ages, repeat yourself over and over and still getting rote-response-to-keyword answers - & that's the humans not bots.
