Tanya Riach (@TannyRiach) reported from Condobolin, New South Wales@jen_browning @Telstra This week there has been maintenance on the mobile network while the NBN has been at its worst. I have missed 2 meetings because of drop outs where on home net I can’t hear speakers move to mobile and get SOS only. Countless hours of the wheel of death while items are loading.

Lehmo (@lehmoatlarge) reported@strangerous10 @LNPvoterfail Telstra is the purist definition of the corporatisation of essential services. It’s not answerable to the public; only its shareholders. Hence we have a problem; and fly by night pollies handwringing isn’t going to fix it..
-
Bridgette O'Keeffe (@cindersokeeffe) reported@strangerous10 Telstra should never have been privatised and we should "Compulsorily Acquire" it back & nationalise it !

Jumbarrawa (@jumbarrawa) reported@CreakingG @PeterCronau How would we know if those 5 recommendations are immediately implemented? We wouldn't. I reckon that Telstra outage was exactly that - going live for Izzy Intell. matter of weeks till the false flag.

g Sullivan (@GGandjmobile) reported@JohnnyLydon 6 million was what was agreed by shareholders. Thats less worse than the taxpayers funding it and having about 46,000 more people on the payroll than today. Telstra was an absolute drain on the taxpayer. It was a big fat lazy public service like the SEC like the Unis
-
Raptor Driver (@DriverRaptor) reported@freedom4UU Telstra's pricing is over the top for every consumer! To be fair, Telstra needs to bring their prices way down to compensate everyone affected by their F_ck up!

M (@MlsMichael) reported@curious_paul @KatyKray73 the stupid **** is a Labor voter its an Albo **** sucker The **** actually believes like a typical dumb ******* Labor voter that the Telstra outage is not a government governance fail The stupid **** blames share holders. Its a ******* imbecile

Brent Johnson (@98967e9349af405) reported@AlboMP Anthony will you be calling a Royal commission into the Telstra outage also I think we need a Royal Commission into why Roger Federer was sitting alone at Wimbledon?
-
twensor (@twensor) reported@adaptive_ape Indeed. Stop & think about it. What did Telstra think would happen if they ignored multiple warnings, failed to mitigate the risk & it resulted in a huge national outage? Fat bonuses for cost shifting the risk onto the rest of us??? Wtf was the decision making here? #auspol

UndoubtedlyDoubtful (@undbtlydoubtful) reported@WInsufficientia @Totally4yeah @PaulBongiorno Aside: My understanding is you should never privatise a natural monopoly. So Telstra or Transgrid, SECV etc would fall into that category. Banks probably ok as numerous.
