@jen_browning @Telstra This week they have been doing maintenance on the mobile network while the NBN has been at its worst. I have missed 2 meetings because of drop outs where I get SOS only when home wifi is not working to mobile and countless hours of the wheel of death while items are loading.

@simonahac @mishyloan @Telstra Main reason went with Optus, whilst living with sister & broinlaw, only Telstra able, absolutely useless. Touchwood not had 1 issue with Optus since moved.

i should say that @telstra's SM team messaged me and had this sorted out very satisfactorily within the hour. it would have been cheaper for them, and a better experience for me, if their app had a "buy data pack" or "upgrade" buttons — or if phone support was better trained.

@simonahac @Telstra Now try that in Lockhart River, a remote town of about 1000 not exactly advantaged people, kids trying to learn, people trying to do business. Internet there consists of flakey individual satellite or 3G mobile, with back-haul so slow it might as well be dial-up. Yes dial-up.

@simonahac @Telstra This is why I took Turnbull's advice and moved to a FTTP suburb... and don't get my internet through Telstra. My daughter's problems come from the ****** FTTN & HFC across the valley that causes her teacher to drop out constantly

@RonniSalt @simonahac @Telstra Optus sorted our problems, gave us a new modem and monitored our service for a week to make sure it was all working ok. Never had service like this before

Hey @Telstra, I’m a new NBN customer and providing some feedback. I find it amazing that a telecommunications company has customer support text service line and that I can’t actually talk to a person to resolve an issue. Blows my mind.
