@Telstra_news @TelstraEnt @Telstra are usually pretty quick to contact you when you don’t pay for their service...but they’re pretty bloody slow when their service sucks and you make multiple requests for assistance. Cmon, it’s 2019 and a week w/out internet shouldn’t happen

  • wombatlyons

@CaseyBriggs @mscott Wish i could watch the news and feel informed but @Telstra have had another drop out and so far 20 minutes on hold, it might be Monday before help. Why dont i work from home in COVID 19, 3 months of unexplained and unfixed dropouts

  • Dannii_Taylor
Dannii (@Dannii_Taylor) reported from Trafalgar, Victoria

It’s taken 53minutes for a Telstra live chat representative to tell me that the fault is with my modem.... God I hope that’s the worst of it.

  • Dannii_Taylor
Dannii (@Dannii_Taylor) reported from Trafalgar, Victoria

@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

  • Dannii_Taylor
Dannii (@Dannii_Taylor) reported from Trafalgar, Victoria

We waited all day for @Telstra to call (like they said they would.....). But there was no phone call. C’mon guys - please get your act together and provide me with the service that I’m paying for. Kthanx.

@FreedomAus80100 If it was a hack then #Telstra won't admit it!That would be a poor reflection on their lack of adequate investment in security systems!

  • check307
    Kmac (@check307) reported

Brady Telstra CEO a $6 mill annual salary last year. This is obscene and why we the consumer is experiencing increased costs for no service . Try and phone in a billing complain. These salaries are wrecking the Australian economy. Why shouldn’t the workers want higher wages . WHY

  • LuminousR7
    Luminous (@LuminousR7) reported

@theheraldsun Don’t be sorry, just provide the service you are already paid for, when you publicly said whoever is not happy with Telstra service can switch to another provider, people should ditch Telstra to teach them a lesson, it’s not just Telstra, all providers are the same.

What is pissing me off with the Media & this Telstra outage is, they are screeching for everyone to say sorry Guess what, sorry, does not fix & resolve the issues that caused the outage! However the media are not asking Telstra, what happened? why did it happen? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ENSURE IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!

  • ACMEBricks
    Mr ACME (@ACMEBricks) reported

@horriblelizard Even their smaller outages have killed people. My rural Victorian towns telstra went out and we were told 2+ weeks to be fixed even though the crew was there working (literally doing **** all). 5 seniors died due to life alert bracelets not being on back up. Told them. Back up.

  • PikachuShocking
    Shocking Pikachu(bazbilby.bsky.social) (@PikachuShocking) reported

@ruicharadrius Telstra outages are big ones because telstra is the major network infrastructure and it is internet, phone lines and services like billing and paying and scheduling. Telstra goes down, a significant amount of people feel it

  • twensor
    twensor (@twensor) reported

@adaptive_ape Indeed. Stop & think about it. What did Telstra think would happen if they ignored multiple warnings, failed to mitigate the risk & it resulted in a huge national outage? Fat bonuses for cost shifting the risk onto the rest of us??? Wtf was the decision making here? #auspol

  • Peter_Lewis747

@JacintaAllanMP So the Telstra outage affected many states so why was Victoria impacted so badly. Just another state based f#%k up from your government.
