Karina Dambergs (@KarinaDambergs) reported from Deloraine, Tasmania@jriewolod @Telstra I know it’s slow, but I second the comments to take it to an ombudsman. I am sorry for your mum, but sadly not surprised - I have nothing but billing issues with Telstra. They always want us to pay first and then they’ll sort it out.

Jean-Pierre YIN (@kalsue) reported@llelectronics @thesamuelnam Vodafone Network: Unlike Telstra and Optus, offers a 90-day grace period for international visitors with non-compliant phones. If you use a Vodafone local SIM or purchase a travel eSIM that specifically runs on the Vodafone Australia network, your phone will work normally.

Pat Fenis (@BigStrawDog) reported@kai_h @algorithmsayshi Thinking either the eero modems have a built in VPN I cannot locate n disable or the router detecting Telstra AND AGL is causing it to not trust our IP. Also unsure why NBA would care if we are in Syd or melb as far as licensing issues as it's the same market. Frustrating.

Con (@ConPaffas) reported@MPolyalloy Now do the ALP list or does that not suit the agenda? Btw, I don’t support government selling assets. Or military bases for that matter. The only one that was good sale was Telstra, because they got a lot more than what it was worth and it hasn’t appreciated. Tech killed Telstra

TaxFodder (@Coldhardface) reported@belinduhpyne There was little left to sell after Hawke and Keating sold federal and state assets in their Privatisation rampage. Key assets sold under the Hawke government included: The Commonwealth Bank of Australia Qantas Telstra CSL These sales were part of a broader strategy that also involved floating the Australian dollar, deregulating financial markets, and dismantling the tariff system. While critics argued this abandoned traditional Labor values and contributed to issues like increased household debt, supporters view these reforms as essential modernizations that 'strengthened' the Australian economy. We're real strong now eh?
