I have rarely received scam calls. Interesting I am now getting multiple a day. Scam: I am calling about your Telstra internet. (I am with @Optus: not a recommendation btw) Rob: Did you say 'Telstar'? Scam: Telstra. It's an internet service provider. Rob: Oh is it?

Tim (@TimothyJ_23) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra I understand all that. I'd just think if the issue happens on telstra devices and not those on other networks maybe it's something to discuss with the venue. I know telcos work with venues on capacity boosting infrastructure hence my suggestion ☺

@Telstra Nope. 4G. Just everything grinds to a halt. Slow to load at Halftime break. I understand load increases at those times when lots of people are on their phones but it seems telstra is the only network that really struggles here.

Hey @telstra and @aamipark can u guys put your heads together and sort out reception load issues during events here? Optus and Vodafone seem fine. Telstra not so.

After 6 weeks of hell dealing with @telstra to swap from #foxtel to #telstra for our internet we were “absolutely promise” the service would commence last night. Rebooted modems this morning, guess what, still no Telstra 😡 - Your OS Callcentres are a joke. #australia

@Teltsra @Telstra I’ve been put on hold seven separate times by seven different departments. Each time I’ve had to start from scratch and explain what’s happening over and over again. The customer service, and the language problems is absolutely abysmal.

@Teltsra @Telstra Wait your turn? A simple connection to broadband has taken 6 weeks, hours on the phone & the same conversation every single time. Your response is typical of the @Telstra Customer Service. Check the records and your total lack of professionalism in this response.

Received a phishing call allegedly from @Telstra - a little more clever than usual - they offered a 40% discount on my bill for 12mths & when I said "sure, apply the discount" they said they just needed some"verification": name&DoB. Never give these details to unverified callers.

@JoshFrydenberg A 2 year wait & 2 years on we get worse internet in Balwyn Nth (Kooyong) under your nbn than previous adsl with regular messages like this “Hi, We have added additional data to your Telstra Smart Modem back up to keep you connected while we fix your NBN service”

Clare Murphy (@ClareAliceMurph) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Anyone else hit by a @Telstra outage? My home internet’s been down since yesterday afternoon and there’s been no notification or estimate of when it will be restored. It’s also not showing up in the Telstra outage checker.

@Telstra how does a pensioner go about applying for a concession on their plan? Can’t believe that my Dad has been a customer with you for years and didn’t know he was eligible for a concession. Shame on you

Huh. 13 years on Twitter. I only joined up to test a Telstra Mobile service that joined your social networks together ... and you could tweet by sending SMS to a Telstra Mobile short code. Crazy days.
-
Clare Murphy (@ClareAliceMurph) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@erinwatsonlynn @MrTimCallanan @Telstra Right?! Funnily enough, that info didn’t help explain why they disconnected the service or couldn’t reconnect it.

@ShudderANZ are there any plans for your service to be available on Telstra TV? I'm subscribed already but that would have me watching Shudder so much more often!

Mr Pits (@Pits666) reported
@Telstra I know why it is down, no power in the area. Your guys in the GOC are lazy and put details on the alarm in saying it was working and closed it incorrectly in TAM.

@RoadknightThe I have iiNet Ultra Cable WiFi here in Corio. 120+ Meg. The NBN is “No Bloody Network”. It’s not Telstra, it’s the carrier.
-
zyrorl (@zyrorl) reported
@elonmusk I would hazard a guess that also the vast majority of churn from NBN is going to the mobile phone telcos (telstra/optus/vodafone) on 5G, however they're claiming Starlink, which is barely opened here in Australia, as somehow a catastrophic incident to their business model.
-
Brad C (@BGC_1973) reported
@oldmate777 @TerryOBrien4 @PeterBo49858290 It was never competitive for the market, telstra was charging less than it should have for wholesale to the competitors and it stifled investments in the network. And labor opposed the sale.

Rob (@XRBob) reported
@DavoHauser @Telstra I'm not even a customer. #geniuses

Jake Granville Fan Account (@DavoHauser) reported
@Telstra The options were *********. This is a terrible way to treat a loyal customer. How are U guys in business with plans that expensive
-
Jake Granville Fan Account (@DavoHauser) reported
@Telstra @XRBob So Brandon, you message Rob and offer him help, but Viktor basically told me, the original poster, to suck it up and choose between plans
-
Dan King (@danking265) reported
@burgess_ag They’re good if you have good reliable signal but our mates @Telstra don’t seem to have that

@RoadknightThe You won't in #FarWestNSW either, and @Telstra baffle you with bs then deny, deny, deny by telling you there is no problem here !!
-
TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported
So, I braved the wilds of Geelong CBD to lodge a complaint with Telstra about speeds averaging 0.04mbps when they claim 2 to 50mbps. They gave me a test to perform to eliminate my hardware as the problem. That done, they agreed it is a coverage/capacity problem but... /2
