    @Telstra I can't log in, as I don't know the password on the Kayo account, and the address Telstra used doesn't have email attached. I can't cancel it in the my.telstra portal either.

    @yayKM Telstra has always run it afaik. They seem to do a good job. I can only recall a single widespread outage a few years back.

    @VoteLewko @wilmsfront @user26194736 Just reading into this because the ARTC network vline relies on does have a redudency. But apparently vlines 2007 contract with vline says they can't use anything that isn't telstra. So, we have the technology, but yeah, someone signed something at some point and this is the risk

    Just in 🚨; Queensland police confirmed multiple emergency calls across the state failed to connect to Triple Zero (000) during the nationwide Telstra outage. The major network failure cut mobile phone and data access for millions of Australians, disrupted payment terminals and brought some interstate passenger trains to a standstill yesterday..

    UPDATE (4.05pm): Overnight, Telstra made good progress, significantly reducing failed calls to Triple Zero. Telstra has now implemented a solution that has addressed the impact of this issue and continuing to work through further changes. (1/2)
