@MargMcCrohon @jmil400 @gdgoz Remember how American Toe Cutter stopped by St Andrews and was nonplussed to hear prayers being offered to ask the Gov for help during Financial Crisis- returned to USA with Sol Whatsit (Telstra) with $$$ millions golden handshake, and received Wall St bank payout.

@Telstra There is no ‘Accounts & billing’ selection available on the drop-down menu. So not much use. Thanks for trying though.

@djshaneday @Telstra Ordinarily no but knew wouldn’t be able 2 pay next bill on date, @telstra advise no ‘top-ups’ b4 them issuing bill so DD next option. Dutifully signed up, due date came, no debit at midnight, rang, told their fault, I had paid up, but ‘fined’ $15. Never, ever DD w @telstra peeps!

@Telstra Thanks Tanasha, advised that I pay next bill incl the $15 fine & then seek a reimbursement. That is not acceptable & I refuse to waste further time over a @telstra error. The fine should not be charged in the first place - I alerted #Telstra to the issue!

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia How many connections will be completed at no extra cost due to the degrading copper network? You know us customers now stuck on default #4G data because for some ‘unknown’ reason we’ve lost fixed line connectivity! @Telstra #LNP were warned, to little too late! #Auspol

Remember when Telstra outsourced mass jobs to India, then had a huge outage the day before the Indian prime minister Modi arrived in Australia?

@TonyShepherd4 As the shadow minister for emergency communications it is great she tested the system. It was supposed to switch to another network (e.g. Telstra to Optus) in case of an outage of one of them. That didn't occur and she found a fault there. I expect my elected parliamentarians to test the systems they have a portfolio of. By the way, as soon as Teltra asked her not to test it again, she stopped. Good try there, though, but again, you landed well short of common sense.

@MickamiousG China saved us from economic collapse tho Telstra goes down for two hours who gives a ****

@oscarcsims also very confusing policy/reg space. govt essentially renationalised Telstra infrastructure in leasing a bunch of its assets to the NBN. yet Telstra still runs emergency services, payphones, landlines - not NBN. minimal economic incentives, maximal telco corporate welfare

@aboutasteph Services say they are overwhelmed with demand. The leaving violence payment is ran by Telstra 1800 respect isn’t emergency funding. So it can take up to a month to get. They still require a lot of documentation that women don’t necessarily have when leaving. I would think a DVO is all that’s required with maybe a drivers license. A court has already deemed the dv occurred. Should suffice for any program.

@BoxnDiceExp Maybe, but generally speaking @Telstra has been going downhill for a while now. Adding a few millions of new users in a short period of time probably did not help.

We mustn't forget Triple Zero outage yesterday as well under Telstra. Calls went unanswered here in Victoria over 300 calls and people couldn't get through. Victoria has become a 3rd World State. Australia is becoming a third world country!

@AlanBixter @Telstra how dangerous for all the necessary services eg ambulance etc thats very poor in a country this big that relies on critical communication

@gravel_gamer Need to find out how ******** V/Line signed a contract with Telstra that precludes them from using a backup communications provider in emergencies.

@TheKennyDevine @AngusTaylorMP it was less than 24 hours and your lot were screaming where’s the updates… Your moaning adds extra work on ppl trying to resolve the issue. Let Telstra do what they need to do and hold your faux outrage until after the outrage. #auspol #pullyourheadin
