@telstra showing home internet outage until Wednesday for Kew, VIC. And supposed 4G backup modem not worth two bob. Seriously, third world service, perhaps not even that good.

I never expect much from @telstra support, but the service is next level unhelpful. I just got told by a support member it’s my fault that Telstra has been billing me twice for internet every month for what looks nearly a year.

The internet is apparently down all over Victoria on some level. Vodafone and Telstra are experiencing widespread outages. YouTube celebs are panicking wondering if they will ever be able to upload another sponsored Manscape 4.0 unboxing video.

@Jane_L_Kennedy @Telstra And of course he believed it, afterall, the people at telstra told him the NBN called. 6 hours they kept him on the phone and ended up costing my dad $19,000. Absolutely ridiculous and when he called telstra, they didn't give a ****. Switched to optus. Safer /3

@Telstra Thanks Reggie its been a couple of times and it’s difficult to convey gravity of problem by messaging. More recently it related to a scam and I had to ask that I not be handed to someone else as it was in their area…meant having to retype the message. Speaking to someone better

@Telstra Thanks Reggie it happened late October and I spent quite a while trying to seek assistance by messaging system. I kept getting referred to someone else and the new messaging would start by asking what the problem was after speaking to someone r previously. I ended up resolving.

@debbie_prest Try talking to any one in person at Telstra. All by messaging system and go round and round where you are referred to someone else and you have to repeat why you need help. Talk about backward step and shocking customer service

@RoryBurnside I’m with @Telstra with the home phone, they gave me a call guardian home phone, when set up, it forces spam calls to announce themselves, call centre workers never do, they just hang up. Haven’t had a single scam call in months

@Telstra In short. The Telstra technician disconnected my business internet because he didn’t check his orders and did this incorrectly. Telstra faults (and even CEO office - Vic & Qld) useless. Thus far 7 weeks and still not fixed. I suggest @andy_penn needs help from @BridgyL 👍

@JB_AU @swxxii @JumboPrivacy Not really the same. Telstra Air routers create a second network. These networks are independent and cannot cross access. Amazon can’t do that as the devices sit behind your router. If someone can hack a device they could in theory gain access to the sidewalk network.
