@MargMcCrohon @jmil400 @gdgoz Remember how American Toe Cutter stopped by St Andrews and was nonplussed to hear prayers being offered to ask the Gov for help during Financial Crisis- returned to USA with Sol Whatsit (Telstra) with $$$ millions golden handshake, and received Wall St bank payout.

Brad Hooper (@bradhooperarch) reported from Woodend, Victoria

@Telstra There is no ‘Accounts & billing’ selection available on the drop-down menu. So not much use. Thanks for trying though.

  • bradhooperarch
Brad Hooper (@bradhooperarch) reported from Woodend, Victoria

@Telstra Thanks Tanasha, advised that I pay next bill incl the $15 fine & then seek a reimbursement. That is not acceptable & I refuse to waste further time over a @telstra error. The fine should not be charged in the first place - I alerted #Telstra to the issue!

@djshaneday @Telstra Ordinarily no but knew wouldn’t be able 2 pay next bill on date, @telstra advise no ‘top-ups’ b4 them issuing bill so DD next option. Dutifully signed up, due date came, no debit at midnight, rang, told their fault, I had paid up, but ‘fined’ $15. Never, ever DD w @telstra peeps!

  • Phil_HX4
    TheAbsentMindedVoter 🐨 🍺 🤬 (@Phil_HX4) reported from Riddell, Victoria

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia How many connections will be completed at no extra cost due to the degrading copper network? You know us customers now stuck on default #4G data because for some ‘unknown’ reason we’ve lost fixed line connectivity! @Telstra #LNP were warned, to little too late! #Auspol

@MikeCarlton01 @Telstra That is a problem when one company has a monopoly, in Europe there are so many telco competitors that the customers actually receive the benefits.

  • check307
    Kmac (@check307) reported

Brady Telstra CEO a $6 mill annual salary last year. This is obscene and why we the consumer is experiencing increased costs for no service . Try and phone in a billing complain. These salaries are wrecking the Australian economy. Why shouldn’t the workers want higher wages . WHY

  • driver_x_oz
    Driver_x_oz (@driver_x_oz) reported

@Anneeokeefe Hardly it’s that Telstra and VicTrack completely screwed up the communications network resilience and redundancy. If they had done their jobs properly this wouldn’t have happened.

  • twensor
    twensor (@twensor) reported

@adaptive_ape Indeed. Stop & think about it. What did Telstra think would happen if they ignored multiple warnings, failed to mitigate the risk & it resulted in a huge national outage? Fat bonuses for cost shifting the risk onto the rest of us??? Wtf was the decision making here? #auspol

  • savasmelb
    Savas (@savasmelb) reported

Neil fled the country despite footage showing him near Telstra infrastructure. What role did Neil have to play in the outage? The public has a right to know!

@strangerous10 Why do the sycophants even bother interviewing Henderson? We know whatever the problem from the Telstra outage, to Japan’s renewed harpooning of whales in southern ocean, or bird flu on our shores it will be “Labor’s fault”

  • SchoonerLita
    💧Rodent. #Goyim. UpScrolled @Thornintheside (@SchoonerLita) reported

@jaraparilla @TimLooker @ABCaustralia Same, Telstra always had tidy cabling and the best server rooms. Everything was planned and well thought out. All the others had either ups issues or suffered from old gear or spaghetti cabling. I believe they're buried in OHS these days, too hard to access.

  • deniseshrivell
    Denise Difficult-Shrivell (@deniseshrivell) reported

The Albanese Govt is clearly trying to shift full blame to Telstra for the outage - when it's actually both major parties who have set the regulatory frameworks which allows Telstra to operate #auspol

  • DriverRaptor
    Raptor Driver (@DriverRaptor) reported

@freedom4UU Telstra's pricing is over the top for every consumer! To be fair, Telstra needs to bring their prices way down to compensate everyone affected by their F_ck up!
