  • BaethanEnergy Baethan Mullen (@BaethanEnergy) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra That I (and every other Telstra customer at the game) experiences congestion is self evident. My question was why the so-called “premium” network seems to have the worst experience of this. Other networks (@Optus and even @VodafoneAU) are more useable at these events.

  • JohnnyLydon jk (@JohnnyLydon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@connor_daren @Leel06Lee @Telstra Never put your account on direct debit. After failing to properly transfer most of our services to our new home Telstra continued to debit my savings account for the full amount. It took numerous phone calls & store visits to get the acct sorted which took 4 billing cycles

  • RomerJon17 Römer Jonathan | Ansett (@RomerJon17) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Okay found the problem... Whenever someone calls us on our landline. It completely disconnects when ending the call.

  • lozturner1 Loz! (@lozturner1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra your internet service is absolutely putrid.

  • Aaron_Geary AJG (@Aaron_Geary) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@eriantoinette @Optus They’re shit. As soon as I am able I am going back to Telstra.

  • andre_genius Andre (@andre_genius) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra No I was making light of a team that is there to ensure continuity of service taking 24 hours to respond to an issue where their product is not working.

  • john_brockie John Brockie (@john_brockie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra_news @CodeClubAus God help us if Telstra have anything to do with the coding

  • TheMickeyG Michael (@TheMickeyG) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Sick and tired of ringing @Telstra every afternoon to try and sort out a order problem with @startrack nothing ever gets done despite happily giving me plenty of reference numbers, like that fixes it! #hopeless

  • Alex_I_88 Alex (@Alex_I_88) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It improves when I go into the city. It seems to be a signal issue in Brunswick! I would normally say it may be something to do with the walls/building but as Optus works perfectly fine I can’t see that being the issue!

  • HopePopplio Saber (@HopePopplio) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Telstra charges you 150 bucks a month for a service they aren't providing you then puts you on hold for an hour when you try to cancel it.mp4

  • coachbear mikey (@coachbear) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Telstra having massive issues trying to pay my bill, been going on for a few days now, using @PayPal and @VisaCheckout... This isn't the first time either...

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I have reported the issue to Telstra, in some detail. Someone from Telstra was meant to call me back yesterday, they haven't. Never mind about the 'speed' of my service, I virtually have no service today.

  • Sbarry86 Shaun (@Sbarry86) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@jbugs14 @NBN_Australia @VodafoneAU I am with Vodafone for my mobile. I don’t like them and the service isn’t good and they are just shit. Home internet with Telstra and gog fully converted to NBN so far so good

  • kobeowns Daniel (@kobeowns) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Carlton players flogging Telstra mobile on there instas surely they realise how stupid it looks haha

  • RomerJon17 Römer Jonathan | Ansett (@RomerJon17) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I checked my mum's phone the wifi was enabled but not connected else where. I'll check my sisters phone when she comes back because she has a strongest hotspot. If the problem still not resolve, it must be someone in Frankston downloading Chris's files or the cable is corroded.

  • active8mii Tony (@active8mii) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Anyone else getting calls from supposed Telstra advising because of naughty people corrupting our internet service that we will be cut off for 15 days. Little do they know with 4 girls in the household I’ll be better off. Ohhh if only it was true. Seriously though be careful.

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

So, just been on the phone to @Telstra , about the crappy NBN service. Even though this household switched over 3 weeks ago, the service will be experiencing "difficulties" until July 19th.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • tlightly1 Shea Watt (@tlightly1) reported

@Telstra Why does an essential service provider in Australia now require us to register for an online ID just to pay a bill when they can't even create a webform that works on a brand new Android device? Let us all know when you fix the problem and we can pay our bills again.

  • Orgleishim Roger (@Orgleishim) reported

@loxyisme @Empress_Marsha The ones using the Telstra network will have better coverage outside cities but otherwise they are all fine

  • pauliec80859931 PaulieC (@pauliec80859931) reported

Fielded a call from "Telstra" this evening. Apparently I was overcharged $932 in the past 6 months & the kind gentleman, who spoke with a foreign accent, sought my bank a/c details to reimburse me. I suggested he keep the money & use it to help pay for a prepaid funeral.

  • DkW_2023 Dale Ware (@DkW_2023) reported

@BecfromAus Potentially, but I’ve heard from a mate that used to work for Telstra it’s an awful place to keep a phone, as sweat will wreck phones quite thoroughly. This was many years back thou…

  • fortaltaco Tacoman (@fortaltaco) reported

Me, at JB Hi Fi: "Hi i would like to buy a phone on a contract plan please" "Are you a Telstra customer?" "Yes" "Can't sell you a phone it needs to be ordered and delivered" "Don't you sell Telstra plans?" "Yes but not to Telstra customers" ...

  • adamdoherty31 adam doherty (@adamdoherty31) reported

@Damian_Herft @Telstra I was on yesterday again for 2 more hour simply trying to add an international dialling pack through the app, it is appalling and then with the internet issue they did what I suggested 3 days ago and it was fixed, they switched it off but didn’t switch it back.

  • Winterknell Greg Hills (@Winterknell) reported

@Telstra @paulbrown73au And then you store that info, often unencryped, online, for years, on vulnerable systems. (If you're Optus, you even provide an open API leading to it, but Telstra has nothing to brag about on that score.) Pass that back up the line. FIX YOUR SYSTEMS.

  • Ballyurra Ray (@Ballyurra) reported

NBN down again. How good is it to have a service provider that will email you what's happening, why it it will be down etc. Unfortunately it's an NBN problem so they can't fix it but I can talk to them. Never got that service from Optus or Telstra. FYI they're called @launtel.

  • LesleyDewarAU Lesley Dewar - Blogging on Medium (@LesleyDewarAU) reported from Busselton, State of Western Australia

/TV recognises my Samsung Galaxy tablet using Bluetooth (paired) but can't find the Telstra network. When I try to add the Telstra network, I don't know what security to choose. Thanks Over to you

  • tappo66 bradT (@tappo66) reported

@roobiefox Sorry, unsolicited advice, but recent/repeated problems with Telstra - make sure you write everything down, who you spoke to, where and when...and if you want anyone to do anything go down the social media route (like you have), they'll at least respond then...
