@BrennanLozzie How much data do you get on that? And on Telstra?! Wow! So you’d likely have no reception issues

@Telstra’s customer service model. Ring up needing assistance - wait 30 mins for an agent, finally get an agent, spend 20 mins re-explaining your issue, issue too hard, agent hang up, do it all over again... @andy_penn #terriblecustomerservice

@Telstra Hi Jess, I doubt that will do anything. You just fall back on your no guaranteed service for home broadband excuse... it’s your network YOU fix it.

@Telstra Thanks Tom - appreciate you are but a cog in the wheel. We rang at 8.30am and were on hold for three hours. It appears our service has been ported to our new provider however. Would you be able to check if this has cancelled our account with you?

@sadiesjogren @SuperNetball I think (not a Telstra customer so happy to be corrected) that the free Live Passes are only for Telstra Customers, so have always been limited to Australia. Might have been able to be used with roaming? Not sure, I’ve always paid for my subscription to the app.

So disappointed (not surprised) with the lack of support from @Telstra today. They insist on sending a @NBN_Australia tech to my office who turns the internet off on me before leaving. They now refuse to answer me (for hours) on their SMS service. My business is harmed by this.

@Telstra not sure the “your only option to contact us for support is asynchronous messaging” play is really a premium service offering. My cable internet is broken & I get to play the waiting game for someone to reply...

@Strangelady11 @rubin_angela I think if you type “Victorian telecommunications ombudsman” into El Goog the first result is Telstra’s “we really want to help you” page. Hitting that tends to get much better results

@braskic @Telstra Agree - online chat support is a binfire that needs a frying pan to the side of the head. The non-upfront plans can still be purchased, just not online, lord knows why. MPP - Referring to handset repayment plans? They now offer 36mths.

@Telstra Incorrect. TELSTRA started decommissioning 3G in 2021. I learned at Comms Connect yesterday that 70% of 3G has been turned off. TELSTRA currently has major issues with 4G VoLTE. and aren’t telling anybody what the issue is.

@intern_amanda1 I remember when Telstra (known as Telecom) was govt owned. A monopoly on provision of phone services & equipment. Service was poor. Waited months for a new landline connection. Telecom refused to provide itemised bills. You think it's bad now, you should have seen it then!
