@Telstra @garethrhughes Hi telstra - NBN has continued to be really slow - up and down all day in 2089 postcode. Most of yesterday it was out. Have reset modem but no improvement.

  • jasons_tweet Jason  🇹🇼 (@jasons_tweet) reported

@Telstra No known issues, I have rebooted the modem pulled out the sim. Still nothing

  • garethrhughes Gareth Hughes (@garethrhughes) reported

I figured I'd just try the @Telstra app again, this time it worked. At this point I've had enough and just decided to give up trying to switch. Now @Optus decide to actually try and help and make it sound like I have to continue the transfer process at this point.

  • FGecolarge FG (@FGecolarge) reported

@Telstra My previous reply deleted after taking so long to get through on the network. Yes it has 4g and it kicked in and was sooooooooooo slow I put everyone on Vodafone. That was yesterday - today its still slow and variable - so right now its unusable and everyone is back on vodafone

  • Rayzor_House Raymond Seres (@Rayzor_House) reported

@Telstra After being with Telstra for over 20plus years and always paid my bills on time every time. Telstra has finally let me down and don’t care to loose me due to their stupid new billing system. With Telstra it’s their way or the highway. And they don’t care to resolve an issue.

  • RobWats93841701 Rob Watson (@RobWats93841701) reported

@Telstra is their an outage in South Yarra at the moment on the internet?

  • garethrhughes Gareth Hughes (@garethrhughes) reported

So after all that faffing about it actually works with @Telstra now and I'm too tired of this to actually try transferring anywhere else. But generally eSIMS seem to be beyond the capabilities of Australian Telcos to actually support.

  • purplegwemlin Claire :) (@purplegwemlin) reported

@whophd @DavidBe53174057 @PhillipQuirk4 I would suggest it's important to separate performance of Telecom/Telstra itself from the provision of a public telecommunication service. Once upon a time every Australian residence had a right to a phone service. Now you have to pay.

@Telstra removes parts in app to click on to recharge phones recharge number and it sends me to customer support who is closed and i know this coz it 2am cant use #100# so how do u even recharge at 2am. guess i didnt bow down and submit to the corporate gods right

@IanSyson They don’t miss you $$$ wise for their service but Telstra is the most reliable you’ll get
