@bajo Oh yeah they're awful The only network that I think uses the Telstra Retail network (so, same as their own) is Boost mobile, but that might have changed

  • ad_gunn adam online (@ad_gunn) reported

@bajo Optus service is just worse than Telstra because they don't have as many towers; same would happen on any provider using the Optus network though (also most other providers saying they use the Telstra network only use the wholesale network which isn't the same as Tesltra's own)

  • bajo Bajo (@bajo) reported

Switched from Telstra to Optus recently because I hate Telstra a bit more than Optus. Finding the service really patchy, have to turn Aeroplane Mode on and off now and then just to get Voicemails or service back. Not sure if it’s a 5G issue? This is my first 5G phone.

  • ninetyfourhobi a⁷ (@ninetyfourhobi) reported

@NBN_Australia my internet is literally so slow the moment I had to switch from Telstra to NBN. I’m using my 4G instead due to how slow it is

  • bajo Bajo (@bajo) reported

@ad_gunn Yeah I thought this might be the case. I just really hate Telstra so much for a summer They ruined saying they would turn up and never did they after day after day. I don’t wanna think about it I’ll get mad. Okay I’m mad.

@chrismurphys @Telstra I truly would divorce them. They are all trouble!

@riffwithbiff exact same issue - has to be a telstra problem and they’re telling me there’s nothing wrong and trying to charge me $90 to fix it. no thanks telstra - please fix your compatibility issue 😭

  • RutegerJones Edward Vukovic (@RutegerJones) reported

Anyone had issues with their wifi dropping out on their iOS devices when switching to the @telstra wifi booster? Always get a privacy warning message on the wifi settings and it won’t maintain a connection. Every other device works fine. It just affects iPhones and iPads.

  • ramnijhawan Ram Nijhawan (@ramnijhawan) reported

@TelstraAU Number worked priefly yesterday, is disconnected again . Back on SOS. Seems someone messed from back end. 9 days without phone. What a punishment for choosing to become Telstra customer. For details you can look at yesterday's thread.

@Telstra @juulerju Just maybe you and the ACMA can tell us straight how they are able to utilise blocks of Aust. Mobile numbers. Somehow, they get into the Aust network and utilise unused numbers. I find it hard to believe this can happen and you can’t do a thing about it.
