@rup31 @Telstra Apple seem to want to help but of course their app works everywhere else but on Telstra TV. Their tier 3 escalation is to engineers. Telstra’s tier 3 means going to a Telstra shop. 😐

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

@Telstra Meanwhile I have spent about 5 hours of my life in the last 2 weeks on 4 cases raised because Telstra tells me repeatedly via text I need to contact Telstra. I know you are just the messenger but it’s hard to accept seemingly consistently poor support.

@Noisynanawarat1 Everything about telstra is crap.Last year I got a notification that they were going to slow my NBN down if I didn't pay another $30 a month. I didn't and they did. I changed over to Aussie broadband and went in to finalise the thing.Still getting bills.

@Jan14531 @OMGTheMess In theory, a company can take whatever position its management & shareholders want. But in practice, do we want every company chiming in on how people should vote at every election? Qantas? Telstra? Pete the Plumber Pty Ltd? Companies should stay neutral on controversial issues.

@outbackjunita Yep! I believe Aldi use the Telstra network, so should should be able to use Aldi sim in your area (The Aldi Mobile website has a coverage map that includes your area too)

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

@Telstra Escalated. Not escaped. Damn autocorrect

  • pommyrich ⚫️⚪️🏉Pommyrich🏉⚪️⚫️ (@pommyrich) reported

And further update, Telstra said they thought it wasn't their cable after all and told me to ring the NBN instead. I did, they came out within 30 mins and fixed it as it was an emergency. Could've told me that 18 hrs earlier when I first reported it to Telstra.

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

@Telstra The dudes in the store won’t know how to fix it but I will waste a few hours in the process.

  • David_J_Harley David J Harley (@David_J_Harley) reported

@CaraMia200 $5 Aldi SIM, credit is good for 365 and it's on the Telstra network. Good, cheap, different. Especially the not looking at my phone all the time part. People put your phones away and look up!
