@_erikaroper Might be worth checking out Telstra prepaid, cheaper than a plan - you can roll over your existing number and set up auto-recharge so it's basically a plan anyway. I pay $30 for 10G (and calls, texts etc) which lasts 28 days and rolls over unused data. Access to the whole network

@theheraldsun After 26 years with Telstra as an employee I'm bloody embarrassed to say I ever worked for the company. Telstra's primary customer group is the older Australians and this ***** has just spat in their faces to pretend she is woke. Rot in hell Telstra.

@Telstra i was still getting emails as though i had an active account up until about 6 months ago. i had tried & tried to get them to cancel the account, but nobody seemed to know which dept to get involved and it become a merry go round of being passed to the next person & tell the story

I also can’t log into ‘My @Telstra’ as I’m geoblocked. Hence I just don’t know what service you’ve been charging me nearly $6 per month for? It’s eroded the credit now down to $3 so I REALLY need you to ACTUALLY close my account fully?

Living a mere 5kms out of Warrnambool and @VodafoneAU is as good as useless. The @Telstra line is not much better - and they couldn’t fix my blackspot in bloody Fitzroy!!! Past time the feds of @auspol fixed appalling neglect of regional telecommunication!

I just deleted my "Pay Telstra Bill" calendar monthly reminder and I'm here to say that it was the most satisfying 3 or 4 mouse clicks I've done in MANY years. I've had as many as 8 Telstra accounts on the one bill, I closed the final service last month. #GoodbyeTelstra

@telstra why is your app & your website giving me error messages for 4+ weeks?? Multiple attempts with support/promises of resolution/escalation and no joy whatsoever. Long term loyal customer but patience waning rapidly.
