10 News Queensland (@10NewsQLD) reportedQueensland police have identified 21 triple zero (000) calls across the state that did not connect during yesterday’s Telstra outage. Internal sources have confirmed the network failure was due to a software fault, causing major disruptions. From what I can understand, the failure was on their NTP distribution layer (stratum 1). So that opens up a range of failure options.

After attending her office, police have made contact with the family of an individual who died at a regional hospital. SA Police says it was not notified of the death but now has ‘immediately commenced’ an investigation into the cause and circumstances.
