@Telstra Telstra is by far the worst company in Australia. Like by far.... everyone should look into heluim network, fully decentralised 5g network making waves around the world with no greedy cooperation giving nothing back to community's

@abcnews After a few weeks of set up problems, i called off NBN and got Mobile Internet. Telstra and Optus both offer it, just put in a SIM and then plug the modem into the wall and it comes on a minute later. With 5G, they should put the money into mobile technology

@lauramoates @gabriellechan Wilcannia (Barkindji) only had Telstra access. In town and at around 5-10kms tops. Sporadic from there on either side heading to either Broken Hill (Wilyakali) or Cobar (Ngiyampaa).

@DawsonEJ @LaTrioli Wireless will never be a replacement for multi-gigabit fixed line broadband. Telstra has also come out saying that their 5G product is not a replacement for the NBN. So anyone claiming this needs to speak to experts before making those absurd claims.

@DianaPegoraro My phone used to go to wifi calls inside but got anew one and it doesn’t work anymore. I have temporarily given up calling Telstra to find out why. Have been on their network with both phones

@geoffrey_payne @vision_iii Margins of the providers have been eaten up by wholesale costs. It’s worse now than it was when Telstra owned the fixed line network. Telcos avoiding the NBN makes the NBN business worse and more of a loss for taxpayers

@StephenLStClai1 @abcnews Totally..esp now with how mobile technology is developing. Atm it might depend where you live, but i use Telstra data for my devices and modem and it seems pretty quick. Plus i’ve heard nbn has slowed down speeds in peak periods but people still paying the same.
