@erfbeeass @dogboy64 When I used to have to deal with clients my favourite thing was to call up, and if they had one of those stupid Telstra 10 second voice to text greetings I would deliberately time my greeting so the last half of my phone number was cut off.

Telstra 3G network has been shut down in my area to make way for 5G - 3G network is being turned off Australia wide by mid 2023. Some areas are starting to disappear earlier than this time line - Why?? Europe still allows access to 2G!!

@Magpie1954nBird Left them long ago after a call centre somewhere advised I get in a (very exxy) tech to fix a problem "on [my] end" when it ended up being a problem at the Telstra node....then I had to take them to the Telco Ombudsman to get a credit on my account. @Internode has been great!

It is Telstra who will investigate and decide what exactly happened. I only know what I heard and what others confirmed. The backstory lies within his customer file and security tapes etc. In this digital age some of our aged/ vulnerable population may need help. #advocacy
