Telstra Issues Reports Near Hall, Australian Capital Territory

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hall and nearby locations:

  • JNdeira Jason Ndeira (@JNdeira) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@gavin_laing That would be great if the streaming service was valuable. The inability to cast the game eg Chromecast means I still don't use the free "streaming service" I have with @Telstra

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@scottjlawson @DONTCHIPMEBRO @Telstra So what these selfish neurotics are saying, is diabetics should be denied life changing help like drip fed insulin, because they see their own paranoid egos in the shadows. Great.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @NorelleFeehan @Telstra You exist in a chaotic universe on the outer spiral arm of a minor galaxy around an unremarkable star on a miraculous planet. Yes conspiracy theories can be comforting but it is a selfish neurosis. I have never met a conspiracy theorist who volunteers for anything. All selfish.

  • bridgettilley Bridget Tilley (@bridgettilley) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Hi @Telstra I just received a robo call telling me my internet will be disconnected today to fix a problem ( I don’t have a problem). I’m an @iiNet customer with @NBN_Australia in Belconnen area Canberra. Could you pls advise ?

  • Diamondback1949 Antifa Maynard G Krebs (@Diamondback1949) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@SpottyBalfour @Telstra Yes. It’s too funny. Totally inappropriate for a corporate behemoth. Needs more dour. Get a dour media consultant. Needs more 1980’s pretentious ****.

  • Lindday8 Lindsay (@Lindday8) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra NBN speed slow and dropping out in Flynn act is there issue

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@AUSBATTERYGRAD1 @FindlowHarrison @Telstra Then if the higher frequency is the issue yet terrahertz radiation is not, then please explain where "peak harm" is on the EM spectrum? At what point does harm start declining? Past 100, 200, 300THz or what? You're trained in this, you're concerned about 5G so you tell us.

  • hgo7627 HG (@hgo7627) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra Spoke with @Telstra today. The start point is a new modem. Arriving Friday. I fear the problem is actually because of FTTN rather than FTTH.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra Playstation please, but I am a long term Telstra customer. May consider it.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra No there's not. There is a precedent of bullshit spreading via ridiculous conspiracy theories because people still cannot grasp that they are not the centre of a vast, chaotic universe and no one gives a ****. Conspiracies are narcissistic neurosis manifested.

  • ianmcd85 Ian McDonald (@ianmcd85) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@katsinsight @Isabellep71 @Telstra Wow / the exact script i was given!! Poor form telstra

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@scottjlawson @DONTCHIPMEBRO @Telstra Oh look the selfish neurotic conspiracy ****** got all triggered and blocked me. I suppose the suggestion of being a selfish neurotic hit home. It's a common thread. I never see them out helping with anything. Just self absorbed.

  • AHCPhoto Michelle Kroll (@AHCPhoto) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@CapitalToad 1/2 I’m sorry to hear of your Telstra woes. I only have them for my phone service & never had a problem. I use iiNet for internet & they’ve been pretty good, though waiting on hold for an hour isn’t uncommon.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@AUSBATTERYGRAD1 @FindlowHarrison @Telstra So why is terrahertz radiation at 10,000x the power of 5G not an issue then?

  • JoshuaWithers Josh Withers (@JoshuaWithers) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@jendudley Apparently the current Telstra offering isn’t terrible either. I just like being out of a contract, and not with Telstra.

  • Brumbies2003 Brumbies Man (@Brumbies2003) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra can you please advise why no one is responding to the support messages thru myTelstra App when your phone support says that is the only way to get online support

  • Stewart115 Stewart (@Stewart115) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra what’s with the mobile service in South Goulburn 2580? The last three days multiple drops out during call?

  • skwashd Dave Hall aka Not Funny (@skwashd) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

    @s3_gunzel @i386 @Telstra It’s not so amusing when you’re a Telstra customer.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra I have volunteered myself for two human trials which have been swamped, I will be so happy if I am selected. Polio was real and horrible and this conspiracy self centred narcissistic bullshit is now hurting people. Vaccines save lives. The universe is chaotic. Move on.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra Yeah I've read about it. Unlike selfish neurotics who sit at home all day gorging on conspiracy theories, people like this are actually doing something useful for the world. Good on them. Turn the YouTube off and go help a charity, it will be do you good.

Telstra Issues Reports

Sick n tired of clueless @Telstra agents. What rubbish customer service.

  • SenorCrunch Mike D (@SenorCrunch) reported

got through to someone on @telstra customer service. I got told to change my number...

  • SenorCrunch Mike D (@SenorCrunch) reported

So I'm pretty sure my mobile no has been spoofed. Two people have called me today saying they missed my call and they both had my name - they said it came up when "I" called them. Naturally I can't get through to @Telstra about the issue..

  • jerome2179 Jerome Carpen (@jerome2179) reported

@fiveless @Telstra I’ve Given up. Will make the reluctant jump to NBN and go with aussiebroadband. At least they have customer service.

  • DarkMatterzine DMZ (@DarkMatterzine) reported

@alexmakin @Telstra I remember when Telstra was publicly owned. Not only was the service better, it didn’t rip people off, hardware was much better maintained, it was HEAPS cheaper AND it gave the govt a huge amount of money every year. Selling Telstra was incredibly stupid. Thanks, LNP.

  • LansieFn Lansie (@LansieFn) reported

@kultcuz I have 5 down 1 up with Telstra lol

  • pymsa99 Ptk (@pymsa99) reported

@Telstra My home modem is running on backup. I’ve used the mytelstra app messaging service and the text tool. The responses are robots. Nobody has ring me despite requesting call backs. The outage tools says no outages on my area... haha. Very very poor service.

  • paul__usher Paul Usher (@paul__usher) reported

The @Telstra #5G ad is set in the bush? WTF, I’m yet to see any 5G reception from Brisbane to the GoldCoast????? #iPhone12Pro

  • cornhuskerj jethro cornhusker (@cornhuskerj) reported

@iiNet ADSL internet down since yesterday morning. Now told it’s due to a @Telstra outage in the area. Expected date of reconnection 22/1. Over a week to fix a fault! And you thought 2020 got off to a bad start #WorkFromHome Not.

  • DarkMatterzine DMZ (@DarkMatterzine) reported

@alexmakin @Telstra Yep. Several‘ve overcharged. Like Optus in 2000 charged me $70 for a period of 2 or 3 days after they were supposed to have cut off the service. “Prove you weren’t there”. I said I sold my house, I have proof. “Not good enough”. I WAS ON THE SPIRIT OF TASMANIA THE FIRST NIGHT. HA
