Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hampstead and nearby locations:

  • pwwingman 💧Phil viva la republic (@pwwingman) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@randlight I empathise with you however Telstra should look at their own broken service model

  • AngelaSlatter Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@EmmetOC_ @Telstra "It will take 2 hours to fix." "It will take 24hrs to fix." "No, wait, 1hr." "Or 2-3hrs." "It will be fixed as soon as you get off this call."

  • TJBirrd TJ Bird (@TJBirrd) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Was on hold with Telstra for 4 hours today and didn't go through to a support person until my previous Sim cut out. Wasted 4 days going back and forth between the store and home to try and fix the problem. I am beyond triggered and have had the worst day.

  • rickrkoenig Rick König (@rickrkoenig) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Is Telstra Velocity down at 43a Peel St, South Brisbane, your online tool isn't working and I don't want to have to wait to call Velocity tomorrow to find out.

  • wmcneillie_ winky 🤹🏻‍♂️ (@wmcneillie_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra can anyone help me with a billing enquiry as i’ve been billed wrong again.. 3 months in a row 😑

  • twothumbswriter Angela Bensted (@twothumbswriter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

When I’m on the phone to Telstra, near tears, I imagine the young woman I’m struggling to converse with travelling home on a crowded bus after a long day at the call centre. The image helps me keep my shit together.

  • joshjokic Joshua Jokic (@joshjokic) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra worst service ever today made to wait over 3hrs for a simple contract renewal and offered nothing, we actually even offered sales assistant a coffee 2hrs in.

  • TJBirrd TJ Bird (@TJBirrd) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

This is so unbelievable @Telstra this has been such a waste of my time as a new customer joining your service. I am already so disgusted with your service before even becoming a customer.

  • TealJesus_ Teal (@TealJesus_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

this whole no NBN between the hours of 6pm-12am is getting REAL annoying @Telstra How am i supposed to run a livestream with 0.89 upload speeds. 3 days in a row! Y’all are starting to cost me MONEY. And i don’t wanna hear “We understand your frustration” just fix the damn issue

  • AlexJSmithy Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Yes it was reported through the platform and also by phone etc. zero acknowledgment of an issue. I then paid for a Telstra home booster and external antenna which has only marginally improved the signal. Ok on 3G, terrible on 4G. All this in a Brisbane suburb.

  • Flansq Flangela (@Flansq) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Shaun_R @Telstra It’s funny how Telstra (and I guess most Telcos) still have that same bureaucratic inability to rapidly resolve an issue. I get the same anxiety dealing with Telcos as I did Centrelink and AusPost.

  • glenn_rowe Glenn Rowe (@glenn_rowe) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra AGM sees them complaining about the NBN however their biggest problem should be customer retention. I always have a problem when contacting Telstra, tried to get an esim as a replacement for my physical sim, and I’m asked for a driving lience I don’t have. #esim #NBN

  • TJBirrd TJ Bird (@TJBirrd) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Signed up for a new phone plan on Saturday Telstra had issues with it all Sat + Sun Telstra didn't help all Monday BC holiday Took all day until 5pm to switch service to Sim Store closed can't collect phone til tomorrow So sad, 5 day process to get this new phone. What a joke.😣

  • AngelaSlatter Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Day Two of trying to get phone & internet issues fixed by @Telstra ... Dealing with call centres who don't listen then flat out lie ... Exhausting.

  • AlexJSmithy Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Matthew, thanks for the offer but @Telstra mobile coverage is so poor at my house that extra data is not much use. In fact I have to rely on wificalling to use the mobile. Fortunately our other mobiles are on @Optus which has great coverage.

  • jchimselfbigpo2 💧jchimself (@jchimselfbigpo2) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Have been with Telstra since 1972-have not had a problem. Now on NBN, still with Telstra- have low needs - fixed cost $88.00 per month - all local landline & mobile calls free. Suits me down to the ground.

  • AngelaSlatter Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra There gave been no disruptions reported. Your staff have said the problem is at the Telstra end. We've been told there's a block on the phone that has supposedly removed four times. There's still no phone and no internet.

  • AlexJSmithy Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra It has a yargi rooftop antenna. Installer says the issue is alignment of distant cells and jumping from one to other and dropping out. Have 4 bars on Optus.

  • camo1977 Cam Stewart (@camo1977) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra No point 4 calls now around the same issue. No call back from customer complaints, issue not resolved. Wasted my time. Time for assistance from the telecommunications ombudsman.

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @factordex @Telstra @NBN_Australia Holy shit

@SpotlightForYou @Telstra ...and make it almost impossible to get through to anyone. I was on the phone for over an hour the other day trying to sort out a billing issue. Stupid part is, we're business customers & supposed to get priority treatment. 🙄

  • grant_phelps Grant Phelps (@grant_phelps) reported

... and still waiting to have enough bandwidth so that i can log a complaint with @telstra because apparently that's what i have to do as their soc media folks cant pass messages on to their technical folks. That's one disconnected business. #ItIs2021

  • bakes86 Luke Baker (@bakes86) reported

@Telstra Thanks for getting back to me appreciate it. Frustrating that recently when I was deciding to stay or leave Telstra because of disappointing customer service the free live pass for the AFL was the reason I stayed.

  • PhilipC10011545 Philip Cox (@PhilipC10011545) reported

@iiNet Hi. He's Not a Happy TPG customer knowing he dumped Telstra Rip Off INC to move over to you, & I encouraged him? Why don't you people respond with any TECHNICAL assistance but just take the money? We've had enough. Then you ask for a survey afterwards,Hello!

  • Orpheus631 Orpheus6 (@Orpheus631) reported

@NBN_Australia The provider is Telstra and they have issued a letter saying either disconnect and get refund or just continue to pay for a service you can’t deliver given they are 91 and need the connection guess how Feel about those options

  • Egrange2080 Jason Camac (@Egrange2080) reported

@Telstra It’s the East Carnamah tower on tremo’s place. 6623 is probably the postcode and it’s not working.

  • catedempsey Gillian Dempsey (@catedempsey) reported

@LS_IA_AD @MissMambaM There's no solution to identity theft - if someone wants it badly enough, it will be taken - ironically, in Australia, often from companies to whom we have given the data or from government directly. Take, for instance Telstra - our largest IT provider. It ran its call servers
