  @lordlaw92 Landlines still exist, just nobody uses them so people stopped paying for the Service. I mean 'why pay for home phone and mobile?' as with most things in society people simply don't expect things once established to ever fail. It's why optus and telstra are strung out atm.

New Chief Legal Officer in July. Now a heavyweight COO in August. Fourth senior addition in five weeks. A company with $8.8B in contracts and 212MW to deliver isn't hiring to SELL anymore. It's hiring to DELIVER. The bottleneck moved, and management is staffing the bottleneck. The honest line: executive hires are capacity, not revenue.   Seems perfectly legit, reward people for failures …. 🙄 Telstra has paid its chief executive, Vicki Brady, $6.8m for the year ending in June, after docking 20% of her bonus in response to the network’s nationwide outage in July. The company reported financial results on Thursday. Its board met on Monday and decided to cut Brady’s bonus by $607,000 – but she still took home a $700,000 pay rise as she was awarded a total of $6.1m the year before.
