Telstra Issues Reports Near Little Burleigh, State of Queensland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Little Burleigh and nearby locations:

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

I’m quick enough to take @Telstra to task when there’s a problem, so I’ll be just as quick to give credit where it’s due. They texted me to say “No extra charge but we’re speeding up your cable internet”. And man, have they! 80-85 Mbps. Very happy, thank you!

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Still down, still no useful information

  • 00EMW Evan W (@00EMW) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Tom, I’ve already wasted so much time speaking to people regarding this. I’m not starting the conversation with another person only to have to wait further. I was told I’d receive a call back on Monday by the person (Ash) looking into the issue. I didn’t get that call back.

  • rochehfn Roche (@rochehfn) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@caryion Nice takes me 8 years to upload clips tho because Telstra has dogshit upload speed. I would post good vids and clips but half the time it’s too slow or bugs

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I have had to place a complaint about the complaints department, believe it or not. I'm over it. It was actually the complaints supervisor who gave me that timeframe. So much for overseas call centres.

  • RonJanjua Ron Janjua (@RonJanjua) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Your immediate solution to our internet connection issue was to send out someone that wasn’t equipped fix the issue you’ve known about for 2 weeks! #unprofessional have someone competent contact me by end of business or this goes to the #ombudsman and a complaints to corporate!

  • Bigshim Andrew Shimmin (@Bigshim) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra major fail yet again by Telstra, on hold with them after clicking a link they sent me to do with my service and was transferred to the Woolworths helpline. Like ... words cannot explain how inept Telstra is, I have moved house a few times and it’s never worked! 🤯🤬🖕🏻

  • Glenelg22 What Do You Know? (@Glenelg22) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Today we’ve had Telstra credentials stolen. Apple ID stolen and I’ve got an unhackable modem takenover by unethical hacks, who’s going to help me @CyberGovAU @Scamwatch_gov @AusFedPolice #IDFraud

  • BBreggie REGINA SORENSEN (@BBreggie) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I’ve done everything and it’s not working

  • troyhunt Troy Hunt (@troyhunt) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@OUSAK You need the Telstra unit as it has the modem built in which the UDM doesn’t have. The FlexHD connects wirelessly to the UDM and forms part of the mesh network. Ideally, I’d plug it into an Ethernet back haul but the place isn’t wired.

  • retrogamergirl_ Vic (@retrogamergirl_) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra we are on NBN but are getting very slow speeds.

  • retrogamergirl_ Vic (@retrogamergirl_) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra The link URL is not working for me

  • sacarlin48 💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Yes, my wife phoned and apparently it’s been ‘elevated to Level 2’, but we’re at the end of Day 6 with still no service and no information.

  • retrogamergirl_ Vic (@retrogamergirl_) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I have spent a lot of time on the phone with the NBN assurance team. I can see that my DM has gone through. I guess it’s time to start exploring other network providers.

  • davidjseibuhr David J Seibuhr (@davidjseibuhr) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

There should be a compatibilitywith SAT Technologies, feel like making an exit, switch to the longer distance better devices, I see the telstra yellow pages have them mentioned. Availability a problem on that reguard.

  • JimFSH Driers APAC (@JimFSH) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@MJBIS @Telstra Watch out it might appear down the chimney tonight 🎅

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.

  • Kris_Intello Kris Kitto (@Kris_Intello) reported from Tamborine Mountain, State of Queensland

@ShelleyBanton @smsfchick @smartersmsf @Telstra @SMSFCoach @PeterBurgessAMP @lk_smith @HeffronMeg @FJMorelli @ASFAudits What Shelley said 👆👆👆 Typically going to be minor and incidental amounts, advise trustees to opt-out when discovered. Or treat as benefit payment if condition of release met. Pragmatic approach required IMO.

  • blisspimpama Bombay bliss pimpama (@blisspimpama) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra @NBN_Australia Shitty service provides by technical department those don’t even understand the problem and can’t speak proper #English. On phone for last 2 days and business #NBN still not working. #shame #telstra for superb service and technicians in you shitty team.

After 9 days @telstra has still not provisioned my new iPhone 12. Anyone that is thinking of upgrading, do yourself a favour and have a real good look at alternative options. These guys are truely #hopeless. #fail #auspol

  • EmCharlotteAnn Emily Stretch (@EmCharlotteAnn) reported

@cropmad @Telstra As in back to factory settings? I’ve reset the network. Turned phone on and off. Reception is still faulty and messaging still playing up.

  • cycycychry c money (@cycycychry) reported

@VodafoneAU my whole families phones cannot make a SIMPLE call. The reason why we have phones in the first place. This has been evident in Rosebery, Eastgardens and Miranda. Fix this issue or I will be switching to @Telstra.

  • nemesis2017ccp 平均律🇦🇺(拉什莫尔山扩建工程总指挥) (@nemesis2017ccp) reported

@SkyNewsAust It’s totally weird for tech firms to assume responsibility of law enforcement! If some bad buys make phone calls to organize criminal actions, can the victim sue Telstra for facilitating the crime?

  • MischNarracott Michelle Butterfield (@MischNarracott) reported

@Telstra Life - still slipping by and at risk. It is now 2 hours on hold after @Telstra failed on its promise to restore essential landline service yesterday to two elderly, vulnerable customers relying on the landline for 000 and nursing care.

  • LenaEriksdotter eriksdotter (@LenaEriksdotter) reported

@HaHaRiki @Telstra that's awful, I sympathise...I had similar issues when I cared for my dad...consider getting a personal alert device? I eventually convinced dad to put his mobile with a different provider.

  • honestpuck Tony Williams (@honestpuck) reported

@KirstiMiller30 @strollingrabbi @roger3cav Kirsti, you forgot the terrible way he handled selling Telstra so we are still getting expensive, slow broadband.

  • car__ma__vie Jason Gregory (@car__ma__vie) reported

@NikkiTeeuw @Telstra Couldn't get near an ANZ operator Friday, but straight through with BOQ. Will be changing over. Reckon some big biz are using COVID as an excuse to save on customer service and, well probably anything else they can. I had a prob with the Telstra msg mths ago, maybe that too?

  • eldamahj Eldamahj (@eldamahj) reported

@BelongAU @adamhutterer If you allowed customers to call you direct, they wouldn't have to send you sensitive information. Telstra's (and Belong's) customer support model is the worst.
