The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@BelongAU You’d think a carrier owned & using @Telstra network would have usable data & decent coverage but noooo! Web pages & apps appallingly refuse to load, phone coverage is crap. Less focus on woke slogans & more on giving customers a basic mobile service that works!

@alexmakin @Telstra its so weird that i can say i travelled europe and didnt have any issues with Vodafone apart from in the Netherlands where they dont offer roaming, but there was so much free wifi i barely had an issue.

@angharadyeo I kept one "this is telstra IT" scammer on the hook for 2 minutes by pretending to be older, and saying "oh, the wife does all the computer things, I'll just go get her". Put phone down, and went on with my day.
