The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Thread: 1hr53m on hold to @Telstra, finally get through and the customer service representative (that I assume is in Mumbai) can literally not string two words of English together. Asked him to repeat four times before hanging up. I’m not angry at him. I’m angry at #Telstra.

6 hours down, and all the @telstra messages do is put me in a stupid loop where I say I have a problem with Home Internet, it wants to know what my dial tone is. Then it tried to sell me a plan.

@AlanBaxter @Telstra it is a reasonable response compared to @lufthansa whose reps found it totally cool that my flight refund, approved in SEPTEMBER, is STILL not in my hands. They were nice enough to provide an email address for customer relations where I could write to ... [surprise: no phone #]
