Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

An emergency warning system should use any available network to deliver life-saving alerts—not fail because your own carrier is down. In a disaster, network loyalty shouldn’t determine who gets warned. This needs to be fixed before the next emergency.

I hope the Telstra monopoly on the market gets broken up to the point that they're forced to lower prices. The service we get for Telstra, considering how much we pay is a joke. Any company that moves its operations overseas purely because labour is cheaper deserves to be outcompeted by companies that actually invest in local jobs, innovation, and customer service. If your entire business model relies on cutting wages instead of building a better product, don't be surprised when someone with better technology comes along and makes you irrelevant. Consumers shouldn't be expected to pay premium prices for declining service while executives celebrate another cost cutting exercise.

Josh (@joshatticus) reported@NikkiGemmell The government is stupid and didn't force the carriers to push the carrier bundles to older iPhones, so the ********* at Vodafail, Floptus and Telstra only pushed it to iOS 26.4 and later! Android devices got it fine though

Telstra lied to my husband about the download speed, by saying it was slow, then when I cancelled them & said that we were getting Starlink, another person actually tried to talk me into getting Starlink through Telstra.🙄 We went to Starlink’s Website & a local starlink Contractor installed it for us - $106.36 + GST
