    The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

    @ShiannonC Oh the memories of all this. I finished up having to mail a certified copy of the EPA for the electricity. Telstra was also a pain - couldn’t even pay the final amount on my mother’s behalf - another certified copy of EPA to cancel service and pay account 😓

    Hey @Telstra I think you need to fix your systems. You tell me to pay my bill online or via the my Telstra app… so I sign in, click pay now… and then it asks me to sign in…. And is stuck in a loop. So like how can I pay it online?

    @markhumphries Australian Telcos have always been **** like this. When I first moved out of home in the early 80s as an impoverished teen, living on $36/week, Telstra wanted $260 to get a bloody phone line installed, which I obviously couldn't afford.

    @markhumphries The NBN fee just replaced the Telstra Connection fee $250 10 yes ago and my landlord paid it back then. FYI Home Wireless BB or 5G are **** when weather is bad. PS: why changing rental so often?

    @markhumphries My NBN connection went down the other day so I charged my Telstra wireless modem/sim. For the 3 of us plus TV streaming we didn't notice any difference.

    I’m going to need a new phone since this one is beginning to crap out on me (I think the battery has started leaking because my phone is saying there’s liquid in the charging port). Guess I’m going to Telstra after work tomorrow.

    @ShiannonC Had the same problem with Telstra. Mother was dysphasic and bed bound, paralysed down 1 side. I had POA They insisted on talking to her.

    So I changed my credit card number with @Telstra today. They charged me a ******* dollar to do it. Because after 8 years, my NBN is 50mbs now for no reason at all, not 100 as it was, and for 100 it’s $10 more. **** you.

    In fact. I tried to call and pay online and the first thing it says is “You can pay your bill via the MyTelstra App” GUESS WHAT @Telstra I CANT. IT DOESNT WORK.

    @Telstra Y'know if the vague service I get from Telstra is through Twitter, there's a problem. Optus next door had a real human who said 'fine'. Not the sharpest but they tried to help. Just transferred to Optus. Internet and Starlink - same. Pissweak, Telstra @telstra #telstrafail
