The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Just had a terrifying time went into Telstra to solve a problem with my iPad went home only to discover they turned my phone off !

@turquoisebbear Not a lot of choice. We left Telstra because of their business practices and crap overseas call centres. Would not touch Vodaphone after what they got up to a few years ago with their deceptive conduct.

@spannaforce Optus equipment has never been as good as Telstra's. And they only got to where they are because they're a competitor to Telstra. I worked for them between 1998 and 2000. They were quite arrogant about it.

Hey @Telstra I’m overseas and since the iPhone update my phone won’t call out with a message from you saying “the number you are calling is not available from this service”. Obviously I can’t call you to sort this out. Help!!!

Last week I was going to switch from Optus as my mobile phone provider because of their horrible services, but then I realised that I switched from Vodafone to Optus for the same reason, and from Telstra to Vodafone before that. I love it when I have so many options for garbage
