The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

@pacman_vs_jesus @Optus Boost mobile has the telstra network but far, far cheaper. Had an issue porting a number over from optus, got onto customer service and they sorted it out right away. Quite a few of my family & friends have switched now

@GandWalter I don’t have Telstra any more but I always got what I asked for in the end. Would make my complaint and then let them know my next call was going to the ombudsman, had them on speed dial we had so much trouble. Happy to never deal with them again.

@GandWalter @Telstra I just got a letter telling me that my Direct Debit was removed by mistake "due to a technical issue". So far, impossible to re-activate it. They don't want my money ! ! !
