    The business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

    This @Telstra thing is wrong. I would direct debit if I knew the precise contract agreement - date and time of debit, what they will do if the bank has a problem (and I libel for a fee?). NONE of this was offered to me. They just asked for my bank account details.

    @Telstra It has not. I have an IQ2, and am trying to arrange a satellite install. Your text support gets as far as asking me for my account number, then goes radio silent. Repeat for every single day this week.

    @Telstra Another Sunday and Telstra is messing with coverage in Canberra but not owning outages on customers -just the upload speed 6mbps whilst download is 87mbps. They know we can’t get through to anyone.Who else is having issues with phone calls? How many vulnerable people compromised

    @anthonytobin73 @Telstra Had a similar experience yesterday. Forcing direct debit on customers with no alternative and telling us it will make things easier for us. Lost me as a customer. As soon as my contract ends in May I'm going to @Optus.

    @margaretthrosby Telstra and Foxtel now being billed separately instead of a a bundle apparently. Maybe that’s the issue.
