Farmering Dad (@DamienCWalker) reported from Windermere, TasmaniaThe business was a cash cow. Telstra would send tens of thousands of dollars every month, yrs after our rel’ship to the customer had faded to nothing. Most ppl would buy a phone and we’d never see them again but Telstra kept sending us 3% of the value of their monthly phone bill.

Will G (@willgotsis) reported@Gatty54 Worst part was, we called Telstra the next day to say it was fraudulent as payment pending, long story they said we’ll stop it, no they didn’t, 3 days later payment cleared. Others were good and cancelled. In the end we got all our money back, but what a pain in the arse.

Dave Jones (@eevblog) reportedNow tweeting from my lab machine again with very basic Optus 5G internet. Will have to upload video and stuff from home, but otherwise I'm kinda functional again. No idea when NBN/Telstra will restore the connection, it's been 3 days already so I assume it's very bad. Today is Sunday and tomorrow is another public holiday.

Andrew Godman (@Andrew_Godman) reported@Telstra Yes, they said there’s no issues…
-
The Fighting Roo (@TheFightingRoo) reportedTelstra’s service for 5G is that slow in North Melbourne it makes modern tech useless. I have 2 bars & 4g speed. @Telstra you are a garbage service nowadays.
-
Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.
-
Salt N pepper 🌶️ (@Partytime63) reported@MarkAClarkson @Telstra I left Telstra years ago and not going back unless they are the only one left in the market. Telstra is the most expensive service provider in the world. They are also not honest about the blackspot in many parts of remote areas.
