This is so unbelievable @Telstra this has been such a waste of my time as a new customer joining your service. I am already so disgusted with your service before even becoming a customer.
-
Jase Smith (@JaseSmith78) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

Janelle Miles (@janellehmiles) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@Telstra someone just rang me from an overseas call centre to say my internet and landline was to be disconnected within 24 hours. When I couldn’t understand what I had to do to ensure ongoing wireless coverage - which I have paid for - she hung up. Customer service - zero!

Angela Bensted (@twothumbswriter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
When I’m on the phone to Telstra, near tears, I imagine the young woman I’m struggling to converse with travelling home on a crowded bus after a long day at the call centre. The image helps me keep my shit together.

Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@Telstra There gave been no disruptions reported. Your staff have said the problem is at the Telstra end. We've been told there's a block on the phone that has supposedly removed four times. There's still no phone and no internet.

Robert Gunner (@badtastefatboy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@Telstra Hi Cas. I never got one at the time as the rep said he would finish the paperwork later and email it. Luckily he texted yesterday afternoon after I sent the Tweet & confirmed appointment & I got the order number & confirmation email last night. Thanks RG

Day Two of trying to get phone & internet issues fixed by @Telstra ... Dealing with call centres who don't listen then flat out lie ... Exhausting.

Alistair Roberts (@ShadowRoberts) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@SteveMolk @Zesder15 @chooks666 @disneyplus @Telstra But any reply has to be better than stock one about "offering best entertainment choices on the best network" If it's commercial just say sorry we can't offer that content.

Stephen Reeves 🔫 (@smadge1) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@JollyWangcore I hear people raving about Aussie Broadband all the time. I’m with Telstra and I never have these issues
-
Glenn Rowe (@glenn_rowe) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@Telstra AGM sees them complaining about the NBN however their biggest problem should be customer retention. I always have a problem when contacting Telstra, tried to get an esim as a replacement for my physical sim, and I’m asked for a driving lience I don’t have. #esim #NBN

Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@EmmetOC_ @Telstra "It will take 2 hours to fix." "It will take 24hrs to fix." "No, wait, 1hr." "Or 2-3hrs." "It will be fixed as soon as you get off this call."

Alistair Roberts (@ShadowRoberts) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@SteveMolk @Zesder15 @chooks666 @disneyplus Still pretty crap of @Telstra not to have support ready for @disneyplus . Unless there is commercial reasons Telstra don't want it available.

Have been with Telstra since 1972-have not had a problem. Now on NBN, still with Telstra- have low needs - fixed cost $88.00 per month - all local landline & mobile calls free. Suits me down to the ground.

Dr Terry Sweeney CMG (@terrysweeneyAU) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@Telstra you have to stop sending me bills for a service I haven’t had in over 9 months, and refuse to respond to any e mails. Your customer service is so frustrating!
-
TJ Bird (@TJBirrd) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
Was on hold with Telstra for 4 hours today and didn't go through to a support person until my previous Sim cut out. Wasted 4 days going back and forth between the store and home to try and fix the problem. I am beyond triggered and have had the worst day.

@Telstra This has been an ongoing issue with your servers for MANY MANY years. We see a 99% deliverability to all other services and perhaps 80% or less to you.
-
MissSal (@misssayris) reported
@Telstra @ToryShepherd You could just type her name into the system and read all the case notes/orders yourself and then fix it or direct someone to fix it
-
Bern (@Carcharos) reported
Hey @Telstra so nice to be battling connection issues all day while WFH, only to find out there's a planned NBN outage in my area...
-
Heather (@earthperson) reported
@twistieman @Telstra Telstra's customer support is near on non existant. I found most of their employees were not interested in trying to help when there is a problem and as you mentioned they ghost you or hide in the back office and say there's no one available. 🤔
-
TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported
@chdyctt It's been months. Telstra has refused to upgrade the tower in an 'area with known issues' - something they didn't tell me when I signed up, of course. And they have refused to remove the false advertising of unattainable speeds. Fines at now over $1m. I hope they get one.
-
Seshanka Samarajiwa (@SeshankaS) reported
So... the solution. Call the Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman. You can cut to rhe chase, don't even worry about telling them your sobstory because - apparently - this issue with @Telstra is happening ALOT! They will escalate and get you your money in 10 biz days.
-
Tony M (@Tony12256) reported
@Telstra I am a shareholder and a customer for over 30 years and I can’t get the same deal as a new customer,
-
Carsten Bauer (@numloxx) reported
@Telstra Still having issues in Paraburdoo, some residents reporting issues with texting and phone calls. 4g is completely unusable so have to switch to 3g for basic web and emails. Not happy Jan!
-
TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported
@Telstra @theroadknight Thanks, but Telstra has refused to upgrade to provide the 2.0 to 20mbps it advertises as download speeds in this area. The matter is with the TIO and a false advertising complaint has been made with the ACCC.

Andrew Close (@SaltwaterFix) reported
@Telstra Countless, all telling me they can resolve my issue. None did. Abysmal.
