    @Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

    @Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

    @PeterTOWNSV1LLE The staff I've encountered at all Telstra stores in Townsville have been patronising, disinterested, impatient, unenthusiastic and smartasses UNLESS they're trying to sell you something. But if you want service forget it!!

    @PeterKlages @Telstra Ha ha. Try ringing centelink or any govt department. So many staff they sit around twiddling their thumbs but can't answer a phone. Peter it is obvious you have never dealt with government red tape. Are you in for a shock

    @Telstra @matteus_janis I’ve done this twice now and been told to check if Optus or Vodafone are an option. They’ve never been an option here. I would very much appreciate a service technician checking our towers as I have reports from more than another 6 homesteads with the same faults.

    @Telstra did a prepaid recharge for my phone via credit card. You took my money but didn’t recharge my service! Now I’m stuck on hold for what feels like hours.

    @Bene1606 Scammers use phone spoofing and hence blocking doesn't help. They use someone's genuine number without that person's knowledge. Once blocked, they use a different number. Government and Telstra are not helpful as these calls run in millions a year.

    It's been 2 weeks since we've had a scam call from the window's/telstra/eBay/amazon/accident/etc help desks. Guess the scammers are taking a good long Xmas break this year.
