@nat_ofoibles Oh wow, that’s how I felt calling this guy during the week, lucky he already knew, had reported it to Telstra, but they still hadn’t done anything. He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

@Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

@Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

And so it goes on...different messages from different ppl @Telstra promising help. At last today a phone call their fault but me to pay $215 per hour for help to fix their faulty internet line between 2-4pm 'be at home!' 4:40pm no one arrived. Typical @Telstra #fakephonecompany

@SquigglyRick That’s not only terrible service, but it’s offensive! Telstra need to sort that out right away. Even with bandwidth issues that comes at busy times of the day, that’s a really poor speed result. How long has it been like that? You may be able to negotiate a credit.

@NBN_Australia cancels appointment to connect our internet for the 2nd time. If they do finally get here in January it will be 3 months of explaining to them and @telstra that we also have no phone signal here and are up **** creek.

Oh @Optus no wonder you're net profits are taking a hit. Terrible ADSL connection speeds for the princely sum of $85 pm. Yet found out from one of your service team @NBN_Australia has been in our area since March for $75 pm! A paltry $10 off for the next 6 months. Hello @Telstra

My elderly father went to both the @Apple store and a @Telstra store at Southland for a new iPhone, and both said they no longer provide set-up services to help transfer phone numbers etc. I find this lack of service really disappointing.

@chrismurphys @Telstra First off, the TIO can intervene if Telstra aren't doing their job. You can create a case on the TIO website, Telstra will be levied a small fine and they'll have to prioritise your issue. Is NBN available at your house?

@chrismurphys @Telstra you want a better service, you may be better with Optus 5G, which we are on, here in Wanneroo an outer suburb of Perth. If 5G is not in your area, then suggest you go with fixed wireless. NBN is a very vulnerable system to faults; ie weather, especially lightning & power surges
