    @Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

    @Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

    @GeoffreyHuntley IMO, Telstra Network is largely overrated and hyped. I've seen Telstra 5G lagging at ~5 Mbps with full bar signal once too often.

    I suspect the prepaid dumb phones can't be unlocked partly because the single ones Optus and Telstra offer... are the same phone (an Alcatel one, built by TCL now). It's hard enough to get demand for 4G feature phones, and older 3G ones will be useless on one network in 2 years.

    @BFtigercast Nank , Prestia cotch , Lynch , Bolton ,Rioli take your pick Special mention to Sonsie noticed on Telstra tracker covered 15.2 Kilometres he is building his engine 20 disposals . Ross also good . These 2 vital in the run home to help spread the midfield load

    @ProfRayWills Yes I did after all these issues. Seems to be getting a bad rap these days for low bandwidth, frequent dropouts and non-existent customer service so perhaps Telstra is the lesser of the evils?

    @JordanCJanssen @Telstra We have had this problem with the older people we help in the resource ctr (well over an hours drive to the closest Telstra shop). It is just easier to move them to a different provider, keeping their existing number. Telstra is so awful to deal with, why reward them by staying?
