@Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

@Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

@Telstra Yes - update is 3 more pointless, soul-destroying conversations with 3 more Telstra staff, all contradictory, one visit from NBN technician who said there's nothing for him to do & left, a day's lost work for me and still no solution from Telstra.

@twiddlekins My mum always struggled because she would just take the cheapest phone Telstra had, so the problem wasn't her and phones, it was **** phones.

@GellyStarr @EmRusciano @Telstra I’ve made a sport out of trying to keep the Indian on the line as long as possible. My best effort was close to 30 minutes and the call only ended when the scammer told me, the victim, to “**** off” and he hung up on me. It was very satisfying at the time.

Telstra say my line can’t handle (which it can). How dodgy are @telstra that they would change orders without informing the customer?
