@nat_ofoibles Oh wow, that’s how I felt calling this guy during the week, lucky he already knew, had reported it to Telstra, but they still hadn’t done anything. He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

@Telstra Normally pathetic yes. Not sure why I’m bothering staying with Telstra as I live 2km from a tower and have less then 2 bars service

F@£k you @Telstra never EVER have I had service this poor..I hope my contract is almost done so I can take every thing I own FAR away from it. When someone says ‘we’ve booked a technician for you and this ones for real’ you know you’re dealing with an unprofessional company.

Hey @Telstra would you like to let me know why as a communications company insist on using a messenger app? I've been trying to cancel my service with you and 4 messages have taken 2.5 hours. Then there's the fact that you don't honour my requests in those messages

@cotchinsoda @Telstra The only fix was to ditch Telstra. I was out of contract so I went to Optus. They have real people that speak to you!! Got a new modem, and internet and wifi speed has been like South Korea. I’ve heard good testimonials about other providers like Aussie Broadband too.

@cotchinsoda @Telstra The Telstra store will not want to know mate. They’ll just tell you they’re retail/franchise and any technical issue isn’t their problem. I had to go through the Telstra messaging app. It took two weeks to sort, but only after threatening to close everything I had with them.

@JmarrMarr Fibre to the node here in the sticks. It’s crap. Telstra charge 185/month Blew up in a storm, new box 3 days later. I install it, everything tested ✅ This morning, all kaput again. Sat in a phone queue 45 mins = high tech answer, switch off, wait, repeat=works. Now down again

@filmstvandlife Yeah the problem is Optus reception here is really awful, I tried their Optus one plan and it honestly couldn't crack 5Mbps. So I think we're stuck with telstra based carriers for now
