If you sign up on a plan with Telstra I would advise that you keep the date you signed up as they have a policy of not contacting you when your plan expires. They hope you will keep paying,they even kept charging me after I cancelled a service. Might be legal atm but is immoral.

@Telstra I’m on your cable service Things have been out for two or three hours You do realise your explanation makes no sense I hope — that techies can’t give an ETA if they’re working on something Since they’re aware of an outage, the system must be aware of it I’m aware of it!

@Telstra It’s not that it’s ‘not allowing me to run the toubleshooting link’. My service doesn’t connect to the net right now — that’s the problem So if it’s going to use the connection to check how it’s working, it won’t work will it? Or am I missing something?

@Telstra Does it mean anything to you — do you give the slightest fig that this is the advice I’ve gotten about 10 times in the past and it’s ALWAYS been wrong — there’s ALWAYS been an outage involving numerous addresses that your page is completely oblivious to?

@Telstra But they'll take me through all the malarky you have — they'll have no knowledge of the outage because they'll be relying on the website which is a joke I'm prepared to talk to you because it's easy, but useless I'm not prepared to wait on the phone for the same useless result

@Telstra If Telstra's online outage tracking service is supposed to be USEFUL - as opposed to a ritual you can give us to fob us off, it needs to update on being queried Wouldn't you say?
