@abcnews and other media outlets discovering just how totally shit @Telstra's mobile data network is in North East Victoria. Designed for 2,300 but with 20,000 regularly trying to use it. Won't improve it without govt handout.

@KathSwinbourne @deniseshrivell Telstra teach consumer types, income demographics, segments and opportunity to upsell. Where I work now ask us to greet the customer, help them find what they need and make sure they leave with their issue sorted, either by us or another business in town. Quite different.

@Telstra Do you meanDM?Technician has just set out but as he wasn't told what the damage from the report two days ago is he doesn't have the parts needed. Poor bloke may have a wasted journey. A management consultant review would save Telstra $

@Telstra At this point is beyond a joke. I’m now paying for a phone on my bill which I don’t have and cannot be told when I will have. No one can offer a solution, surely it can’t be that hard. I’ll take a different colour or the model below if it means I can get my much needed phone.

New @Telstra bundle plans look like great value but I can't upgrade my 5 legacy post-paid services because my account hasn't migrated from Siebel to #Salesforce and there's no ETA, and the only solution is to port out to another network first? @andy_penn

@Telstra knows how to make loyal customers feel unappreciated. Longstanding customer on premium plans. Sought upgrade to SmartModem 3. Only for new customers apparently. So best strategy is cancel account and then apply again. Get a discount too. Nuts.

@RoadknightThe Telstra, Qantas and similar are indeed corporate bullies. Most people don't have time to hang on the phone for hours and argue the point repeatedly, so they make it as difficult as possible and rely on most people giving up. The standard we accept is the standard we'll receive.

What the heck, @BelongAU my parents drove out to Mitchell, QLD today and even though everywhere there has full Telstra coverage, your SIMs stoped working? Even though you're on the same network? What gives?!

@Tam_A_Le I'll put it in the mix!#Telstra Had yet another call last night-drove down to mobile access.Telstra promised a technician & a satellite phone by 9 am. Neither arrived. Now the App says we have no faults reported. Maybe Telstra is a Black Hole in disguiuse where data vanishes?
