Where I work now ask us to greet the customer, help them find what they need and make sure they leave with their issue sorted, either by us or another business in town. Quite different.

    @abcnews and other media outlets discovering just how totally shit @Telstra's mobile data network is in North East Victoria. Designed for 2,300 but with 20,000 regularly trying to use it. Won't improve it without govt handout.

    @Telstra It does seem odd doesn’t it? I have sent a msg via the app and they came back with yes there is an outage. They also told me that the new smart modems will just switch to the mobile network. Which is awesome except we don’t have one of those

    @olgordon @bridgerollo Telstra have admitted issues with the phone lines have been unprecedented. IT issues with the sheer weight of enquiries and bookings.

    More than 14h later, @Telstra’s Outages page still has not confirmed any ADSL ‘interruption’. Neither ‘support chat’ conversation even confirmed they had logged the details I provided.

    @Horror1403 @DanielAndrewsMP 77,000 calls in 15 minutes. NO government, NO business, not even Telstra itself can handle such a volume. Next time instead of believing this kind of crap find the truth.

    TELSTRA Can you believe, you need to talk to an operator, you ask for an operator, you tell the virtual assistant for an operator. Then they send you useless texts and links to useless websites. THEN They hang up on you!!!! Customer service with TELSTRA is a non existent word
