Where I work now ask us to greet the customer, help them find what they need and make sure they leave with their issue sorted, either by us or another business in town. Quite different.

@NomadAtom @Telstra Hey did you get this sorted? I have a similar issue! Still getting charged from Telstra but no way to cancel it.

@AlsPatch @heidierr @Telstra Give Aussie broadband a look, they've been superb for me. Fantastic customer service and no issues with anything! If you do, use this referal code to get $50 credit: 7979438

@optoio but they couldn't. There was a ton of re-noding, the optus network was horrible and was basically scrapped after buying it. The telstra network has had to have a TON of work conducted on it. It's not like the old HFC could just be 'used'

  • Darrenjca daz (@Darrenjca) reported

@deemadigan @Telstra Every few months I get a text from Optus saying “Good news. We’re bringing faster speeds to your area. This may cause disruptions to your service as we undertake work on the network” I wish they’d bloody well hurry up

  • oldgreynurse Nurse Noel Must (@oldgreynurse) reported

@Optus threw my data away and wont give me any signal. When I have complained to them they give bullshit excuses. The only option is telstra and they are en more vile but can generate a signal.

  • KathDoyle3 Kath Doyle (@KathDoyle3) reported

@deemadigan @Telstra Had a similar issue with Telstra recently. It would also drop out for up to 12 hours at a time. Kept booking techs only to have them cancelled because everything was “fine at their end”. Had to go to the TIO to get it sorted. Technician found 2 issues between us and the node.

  • pgcOneMoon Peter Combe (@pgcOneMoon) reported

@deemadigan @Telstra Had the same problem for 9 months. Telstra cancelled 9 visits from an NBN tech because they said there was nothing wrong. Took my complaint to the TIO and got it resolved plus 9 mths of subs refunded

  • mockturtle1952 MT (@mockturtle1952) reported

@deemadigan @Telstra Had similar problem with Optus. Bombed the CEO’s LinkedIn fireside chat about how much they valued their customers. It took two posts 12 hours apart before the phone started ringing and was overwhelmed with assistance form Optus and NBN.

  • Michaelg57 Michael Gangemi (@Michaelg57) reported

@deemadigan @Telstra Wow I thought I was the only one with this issue eveynight! I think ombudsman is the only resolution to get action
