Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Myrtleford and nearby locations:

  • BruceHore 💧How Good is the Alpine Valley (@BruceHore) reported from Porepunkah, State of Victoria

@abcnews and other media outlets discovering just how totally shit @Telstra's mobile data network is in North East Victoria. Designed for 2,300 but with 20,000 regularly trying to use it. Won't improve it without govt handout.

  • BruceHore Hand Sanitising the Antifa Valley (@BruceHore) reported from Porepunkah, State of Victoria

@KathSwinbourne @deniseshrivell Telstra teach consumer types, income demographics, segments and opportunity to upsell. Where I work now ask us to greet the customer, help them find what they need and make sure they leave with their issue sorted, either by us or another business in town. Quite different.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Gotwat31 Margot McLennan (@Gotwat31) reported

@MadamEarth Factor in Telstra paying mega bucks to upper management whilst cutting the staff who actually do the work and zero investment in maintaining (forget upgrading) infrastructure. In addition to being cut off on Friday we had a blackout (NBN & wifi gone) & no mobile or4g.

  • GooseBrucethe BrucetheGoose (@GooseBrucethe) reported

@jennifer_murko @reallykazcooke @Telstra Awful treatment of customers. Not only Telstra. With less face to face banking services many seniors are seriously let down. While internet banking is fine for me, I remain with a credit union that has physical branches but for how long?

  • reallykazcooke Kaz Cooke (@reallykazcooke) reported

@Telstra Good Lord. Of course there is. Why doesn’t @Telstra have more people answering the phones to ask me that, instead of robots hanging up on me & then social media staff replying to a tweet asking me to publicly tweet my problem? Bonkers.

  • emconnellan emma connellan (@emconnellan) reported

@JohnYoung18 @Telstra John I feel the pain. They were terrible 20 years ago too. Then no internet but they kept refusing to put phones on because no street names. In the end I said I live in U2 street. Love to all there E

  • GTMurph Craig Murphy (@GTMurph) reported

Have to love @Telstra when the call gets tough chasing a credit, the easiest thing to do is hang up when I question why you don't have this information on your screen 😬🙄😞

  • jvedmond Johanna Edmond (@jvedmond) reported

@Telstra I wasn’t expecting them to do that, but the nature of the issue was a promise to call had not been fulfilled so really if you can tweet to the public you can pass on an internal escalation to get someone to call. You really can. Or could if you were serious.

  • surlestombes leventsouffle (@surlestombes) reported

@Telstra Big telcos were always run by young women solving problems – because they would take responsibility. The issue is the companies never elevated these women to management positions and beyond. So when you fired them all, the place went to ****.

  • reallykazcooke Kaz Cooke (@reallykazcooke) reported

The PEOPLE who work for @Telstra are always helpful but wow, when you need to speak to a human & the number menu doesn’t cover your problem so it deliberately hangs up on you & sends an SMS saying go online? May as well be a cheerful ’Get Rooted!’ recorded message.

  • tonymmorley_II Tony Morley II (@tonymmorley_II) reported

@Telstra Unfortunately not, they just said they would be sending it off with the next batch of returns. I think the issue here is a systemic system issue, I'm bringing it up because it's a wide spread issue that need a solution. People need a hardware receipt of return.

  • crankydaks Cranky Pants (@crankydaks) reported

@surlestombes @Telstra The most spot on comment ever. Will Telstra ever learn from the terrible mistakes they've made and get the company back on track because at the moment it is a lame duck. I've never encountered such awful incompetence and don't care attitude in my life.
