@KathSwinbourne @deniseshrivell Telstra teach consumer types, income demographics, segments and opportunity to upsell. Where I work now ask us to greet the customer, help them find what they need and make sure they leave with their issue sorted, either by us or another business in town. Quite different.

@abcnews and other media outlets discovering just how totally shit @Telstra's mobile data network is in North East Victoria. Designed for 2,300 but with 20,000 regularly trying to use it. Won't improve it without govt handout.

@roller2426 I got myself a silent one number, so mostly I manage to avoid that crap. Once in a while a scammer manages to get through and try to get me to open my computer for them, usually they pretend to be from Telstra. They get short shrift and I hang up on them. 😈🤬

@Peter_Fitz Nah, Pete, old mate MSL is onto something. Sports sponsorship never works. Cigarette money never repaid the value of the Winfield Cup or B&H (insert series here) cricket. Telstra has just peed money away with the NRL for 25 years. Kia wastes its time with the Aus Open, etc…

@Telstra @acissejyag No working internet in Gympie since Friday morning and your outage page shows everything is fine! It is not fine at all. I have tried the useless customer help and what a waste of my time that was! Useless unreliable internet and even worse customer service.

@PeterLawrence18 Don't disagree Pete. I do think there's an integrity concern though if a customer's bet can be modified without first authenticating using their credentials. Imagine if a Telstra or a Qantas allowed that 👎

@andrewbogut @Telstra That's exactly why I left @Telstra , shocking service. Long wait times, shunted from person to person, kept repeating reason for call, untrained representatives etc. I gave up and left. Much better service elsewhere.

Does anyone know why it does not seems to be possible anymore to call the Telstra support number from overseas? A couple of days ago I was told: “Call us on 132200 or if you're overseas call +61 439 125 109 for free from your Telstra service.”

@Telstra what's happening with your mobile coverage in North East Victoria? Corowa, Wodonga, Kiewa? Also TV stations are down? Sounds like broken fibre optic to me... ETA on fix...please?
