This is the second time this has happened. Last time, the technician said "someone must have accidentally disconnected the physical line at the exchange". What are you going to do to fix this @Telstra ?

@Telstra We were trying to connect a new cable adapter which we were given by Telstra because the performance of our old one was slow. The new adapter was not connecting but no one could tell us why. We have had to switch back to using the slow old adapter....

@simonahac @Telstra Australia is a backwater nation re internet. That is just ridiculous. I'm on my around Oz road trip and Vodaphone have been woeful the whole way. Their claim "we have works in that area" is just BS and getting old. I contacted the Ombudsman on it. Many more telco problems here.

@EverywhereTrip @Telstra I’ve personally found their tech to be very good indeed, but dealing with their customer service to be similar to repeatedly stubbing your toe while being stung by a wasp. We have one Telstra mobile left in the house - I moved everything else away.

@Telstra Sorry I couldn’t reply because 3G is intermittent in Woodgate as well. When it all came back on it wasn’t relevant . Pretty poor really when infrastructure’s already in place

@Telstra Wishful thinking. I'm 50 klm north of Cairns and just south of Port Douglas. No NBN cable, even though it runs past the end of my road to service Port Douglas. I have to rely on Satellite and that is the pits. Clunky and no ability to stream. Big FAIL for regional areas.

For anyone thinking of switching their service to Telstra don’t even think about it. It’s been over a week since I have been able to use my phone to make and receive calls all over the incompetence of some Telstra employee and I still have no resolution date in site. RT
