@telstra review my chat support transcript and tell me why its not appalling, infuriating & utterly negligent. Phone line down 4 months. Kids can't dial 000. Your chat support ppl detect the fault and do absolutely nothing to resolve.

@jessdotceee It's a plan to get Kayo subscribers. For Telstra customer's $15 per month. Clearly a long planned move. But yeah harsh if FTA is your only option

This is the second time this has happened. Last time, the technician said "someone must have accidentally disconnected the physical line at the exchange". What are you going to do to fix this @Telstra ?

@zanerednwhite Yeah $15 you could use Chromecast screen resolution might be poor mine 780p. I got a Telstra TV gen 3 off Facebook marketplace there were plenty of Gen 2 for $35. Resolution seemed better. $15 month to month seems ok to me

@Telstra Greg! I apologize! But I tend to lose my temper every time we have contact. Suggestion: I believe there is a correlation between your mass-mailings (paper and digital) and your service line traffic. You might study the relationship and adjust accordingly.

@Telstra I have never been this frustrated with a company in my life! And I’ve reached an impasse with your level of stupidity. Seriously, I’ve been reduced to man-splaining your own tech to your people!

💧Patricia O’C
(@Patriocon) reported
@RonniSalt @simonahac @Telstra Optus sorted our problems, gave us a new modem and monitored our service for a week to make sure it was all working ok. Never had service like this before
-
Jinny W
(@JunelleW) reported
@RonniSalt @simonahac @Telstra Agreed! Will never go back. I left Darwin to move to Melbourne, asked for disconnection.(at huge cost of contract break) they then continued to charge me for calls made from new tenants and refused to believe it wasn’t actually me! Unreal. Took months to get a resolution!
-
Mark Young
(@Mark_Young05) reported
@simonahac @Telstra That's why I switched over to Aussie Broadband as soon as the NBN became available a few years back. Never looked back.
-
Gerg

@simonahac @Telstra Now try that in Lockhart River, a remote town of about 1000 not-exactly-advantaged people, kids trying to learn, people trying to do business. Internet there consists of flakey individual satellite, or 3G mobile with back-haul so slow it might as well be dial-up. Yes dial-up.
-
Dr Complex Plane
(@kekule6) reported
@simonahac @Telstra The problem here is that the waste of a customers time is an externalised cost. I’d love to send Telstra and other companies like banks a bill for hours wasted trying to fix minor issues. If there was a cost, they would lift their game.

Doc 黄 🐀🐁why do we have a PM who smirks & shirks.

@simonahac @Telstra This is why I took Turnbull's advice and moved to a FTTP suburb... and don't get my internet through Telstra. My daughter's problems come from the ****** FTTN & HFC across the valley that causes her teacher to drop out constantly

I’m now on day 3 of trying to get @Telstra to take my money in exchange for a service and they’re still unable to do so. I’ve spent maybe a grand total of 8 hours repeating myself to get something relatively simple done. It’s actually amazing how bad this experience has been.

@Telstra Thanks - I was very disturbed that my auto recharge failed when Telstra migrated my service. No body could help nor understand. No service for a few days. MyTelstra reported an error. Now sorted after a stressful time and my action. Promises to respond never happened.
