Texanus Giganticus (@couchsecurity) reported@Irideia @innovationcncl Cyrus One, Cyxtera, Telstra, Navisite, Databank, Equinix, you will routinely find customers on site visiting their cages. You show ID, you get a biometric scan, you get escorted to your cage, they hand you your key, you go do what you need to do. And this is not one or two racks, it might be 3,000 square feet of floor space just for your estate, with another cage for your standby equipment. And you're not the only customer there. for certain things you can put in a remote hands ticket and have one of the DC technicians do a bunch of tasks for a fee. For certain things this is expensive, so you send your own staff. And that doesn't even take into consideration people leasing hardware, who are still allowed to go on site and do maintenance. I've been in DC's everywhere on the planet save continental East Asia and Antarctica. Your limited experience is not reflective of reality. You may think AWS and GCP are the only DCs in existence, but that's your own ignorance. If you think companies like cloudflare own the physical plant you have a lot of **** to learn. wind your ******* neck in.

elyce-jade (@elycejade) reported@Telstra Fix your goddamn mf ****

Hung Long 🇱🇧🇵🇸🇮🇶🪃 (@Elmer_Hauser) reportedRealistically, Trembath should finish 3rd in the Telstra Rising Star after Jagga and Dean, even just for consistency's sake. Wilma Durrsma's last 6 weeks has been utter garbage #AFLNorthCats

ChinoAleman (@chinoalemano) reportedJUST IN: $SHAZ just hired the executive who ran Telstra Enterprise as its new COO. David Burns: 35+ years across Telstra and IBM, most recently leading Telstra's entire Australian B2B and international portfolio. His mandate, per the release: own the journey "from customer order to live operational capacity". Co-founder Andrew Leece moves to a dedicated Strategic Partnerships role, founder-level care for the biggest relationships. Read the pattern, not just the hire: new CFO in July. New Chief Legal Officer in July. Now a heavyweight COO in August. Fourth senior addition in five weeks. A company with $8.8B in contracts and 212MW to deliver isn't hiring to SELL anymore. It's hiring to DELIVER. The bottleneck moved, and management is staffing the bottleneck. The honest line: executive hires are capacity, not revenue. The proof stays where it always was: deployments accepted, escrows released, rent flowing. But you don't poach the Telstra Enterprise boss to run a small book. I'm long $SHAZ. NFA. DYOR.

XPRESS (@Xpress_24_7) reported🤖 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Telstra paid CEO Vicki Brady $6.8m after a nationwide outage; 20% of her bonus was docked but she still got close to $7m. 🌸 Rita Gee ♥ 🇦🇺 (@Riogallica) reportedStill sans @NBN_Australia They came out Monday, identified the issue & refused to fix it. Told them that I was over them & that I'll be signing up with @Starlink Looking forward to receiving my kit from Starlink soon. Hotspotting with my @Telstra mobile is 1/2 speed of a snail. Painful much. Going crazy. Don't need this stress.

Jaraparilla 🇾🇪 🇵🇸 🇱🇧 (@jaraparilla) reported@IRanalyst I am 61 years old and I worked for a lot of big business corporations including IBM, British Telecom and Telstra. The ethos was always the same. No concern for morality, total focus on shareholder gains. Why I never became a manager.

bitterboy (@twistedandbitte) reported@Telstra What a bloody disgrace you are Telstra. Heard back from the person the complaint went to. Their response was instead of discussing the issue bluntly told us that given they have called us the case is now closed. Never discussed anything refused to discuss anything.
