@NoticerNews From the 90's Telstra plan has been shedding technical jobs. First their engineers then the technical officer, next the technical trainers, then the technical support staff. Keeping marketing people then their jobs to contractors. Control switching equipment system to India.

@ruseethruable @MikeCarlton01 @Telstra out here landlines fail the moment the power goes out, no battery or generator backup at our exchange. mobile has 4 hour battery backup. our grid provider, essential energy, likes to schedule regular 8 hour outages for maintenance.

@JacintaAllanMP Telstra is most expensive service provider and can't even manage their network properly? We expect some resignations from executives on this failure.

@QBCCIntegrity Hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but China sends over a nuke missile one day as a threat and the next day Telstra goes down 🤷 and no one knows why. Except Telstra and the government.

@wally_waldo83 @AaronDodd @Telstra As a stock market listed entity, Telstra’s legal responsibility is to make money for its shareholders. Since it is an essential service, it should NEVER have been privatised. Everything wrong with Oz has John Howard’s signature on it!

@JacintaAllanMP We also expect compensation from you, your corrupt government, and the criminal unions you support. But I guess none of you will pay us back. So why should you expect Telstra to respond

@DeanRosario I’m a Telstra customer and was affected by the outage for 2.5hrs yesterday morning. I was back online briefly and off again. Switched off and on and was back online and no issues since then.

@VoteLewko @wilmsfront @user26194736 Just reading into this because the ARTC network vline relies on does have a redudency. But apparently vlines 2007 contract with vline says they can't use anything that isn't telstra. So, we have the technology, but yeah, someone signed something at some point and this is the risk

@JacintaAllanMP PEAK 2026 AUSTRALIA Jacinta speaks in the third person demanding more from Telstra... After years of Labor policies leaving Victoria with unreliable infrastructure and essential services failing Victorians. This is deflection, not leadership. Fix the mess you created instead of spinning. Australians First. One Nation. 🇦🇺
