This happened earlier last week; for some reason I scheduled it for today. I'm still keen to know why @telstra makes it so hard for people to cancel a service in these circumstances. They even tried to upsell (or maybe it's sidesell?), asking me if I'd want to take over the line.

@HaHaRiki @Telstra that's awful, I sympathise...I had similar issues when I cared for my dad...consider getting a personal alert device? I eventually convinced dad to put his mobile with a different provider.

@drinno_au @Telstra yeah, line of sight to the tower in town, I was 5 km out IIRC, isp didn't provision enough bandwidth because of the service charge NBN had, but it's improved as time went on. Check average speeds in the area if you can.

@Telstra I cannot get a hold of anyone to diagnose why my internet is dropping in and out for the past 3 days. I’d appreciate a little bit of customer support seeing as nbn and Telstra aren’t showing any outages. Your app isn’t even sending my messages... how can I get help?

@drinno_au @Telstra I streamed on 6k bitrate, with no issues for like 9 months, but that was after complaining almost every month for 2 years because of the weekly/monthly problem leading up to it...

After 9 days @telstra has still not provisioned my new iPhone 12. Anyone that is thinking of upgrading, do yourself. Favour and have a real good look at alternative options. These guys are truely #hopeless. #fail #auspol
