No phone signal in many many locations on our major highways. Cannot send a text while talking on the phone. I have two Telstra numbers, highest cost plan. Without Starlink mini mounted in everyone of our commercial cars, no comms. Australia has no world class highway connecting cities. Has no coastal phone network or fast internet. It’s 2026 and I though I would be in a flying car, reality is I cannot make a call and text simultaneously.

7NEWS Adelaide (@7NewsAdelaide) reportedPolice are searching for a second suspect after a copper cable stealing spree left dozens of homes without internet in Morphett Vale. Both ends of a cable had been cut in Telstra pits and dragged hundreds of metres down the road. Police say they spotted an SUV with a large amount of cabling on the ground before seizing various power tools from inside the vehicle. A 41‑year‑old Christies Beach man has been charged with theft and going equipped.

Karl Pharks 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 (@Karl_Pharks) reported@MarcScottEmery @happyjas When big corporates (like Telstra) outsourced their call centres to India, two things happened immediately. 1) The customer records databases were stolen, and 2) Scam call centres opened up, calling all the customers and attempting to scam them. The big corporates were never held accountable, but they directly caused the Indian scammer tsunami that hit Australia.

Steve (@LegendOfSven) reported@estratgen My internet is ok apart from being slow and expensive but I get the same with 5g. Constantly dropping and reconnecting every half hour or so. So much for paying more so I can have Telstra because it's "more reliable"
