@jendudley Apparently the current Telstra offering isn’t terrible either. I just like being out of a contract, and not with Telstra.

  • _kieranoconnor Kieran O'Connor (@_kieranoconnor) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra I think the reception issue has cleared itself up :) but traded it for a physical phone problem (volume for speaker in calls isn't loud at all). I'm on a plan with a @googledownunder Google Pixel XL

@SpottyBalfour @Telstra Yes. It’s too funny. Totally inappropriate for a corporate behemoth. Needs more dour. Get a dour media consultant. Needs more 1980’s pretentious ****.

@AUSBATTERYGRAD1 @FindlowHarrison @Telstra Then if the higher frequency is the issue yet terrahertz radiation is not, then please explain where "peak harm" is on the EM spectrum? At what point does harm start declining? Past 100, 200, 300THz or what? You're trained in this, you're concerned about 5G so you tell us.

  • bridgettilley Bridget Tilley (@bridgettilley) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Hi @Telstra I just received a robo call telling me my internet will be disconnected today to fix a problem ( I don’t have a problem). I’m an @iiNet customer with @NBN_Australia in Belconnen area Canberra. Could you pls advise ?

  • Brumbies2003 Brumbies Man (@Brumbies2003) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra can you please advise why no one is responding to the support messages thru myTelstra App when your phone support says that is the only way to get online support

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@AUSBATTERYGRAD1 @FindlowHarrison @Telstra So why is terrahertz radiation at 10,000x the power of 5G not an issue then?

  • JNdeira Jason Ndeira (@JNdeira) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@gavin_laing That would be great if the streaming service was valuable. The inability to cast the game eg Chromecast means I still don't use the free "streaming service" I have with @Telstra

  • AHCPhoto Michelle Kroll (@AHCPhoto) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@CapitalToad 1/2 I’m sorry to hear of your Telstra woes. I only have them for my phone service & never had a problem. I use iiNet for internet & they’ve been pretty good, though waiting on hold for an hour isn’t uncommon.

  • Stewart115 Stewart (@Stewart115) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra what’s with the mobile service in South Goulburn 2580? The last three days multiple drops out during call?

@Telstra NBN speed slow and dropping out in Flynn act is there issue

  • hgo7627 HG (@hgo7627) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra Spoke with @Telstra today. The start point is a new modem. Arriving Friday. I fear the problem is actually because of FTTN rather than FTTH.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@scottjlawson @DONTCHIPMEBRO @Telstra So what these selfish neurotics are saying, is diabetics should be denied life changing help like drip fed insulin, because they see their own paranoid egos in the shadows. Great.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • RoelofBoer 𝓡𝓸𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓯 𝓑𝓸𝓮𝓻 (Roy) (@RoelofBoer) reported

@EnergyWrapAU @GrahamY Very few people realise that Telstra (once Govt owned) sold the copper network (pillar to house) BACK to NBNCo (Govt).

  • 1Tresors Tresors Antiques (@1Tresors) reported

@davidthodey CEO David Thodey Manager of Telstra Shop HQ, I dont want my behaviour managed. I want the service I pay for no more no less. Your online reviews say it all ! *

  • rodcubkoguma rod@mastodon.cloud — ロッド · カブ ● 小熊 🏳️‍🌈 (@rodcubkoguma) reported

@peterwalker58 @MRobertsQLD And we have all that copper to recycle from the legacy telecommunications network of Telstra when fibre optics replaces it ;)

  • belungerer Insouciant Samuel - gibberish spoken here 👍🏽 (@belungerer) reported

@Telstra We’ve been advised to go to NBN Sky Muster service.

  • AgPeriUrban ♻️🐘 Lisa Brassington ⭕💚 (@AgPeriUrban) reported

@AnnaVidot @MatthewBevan Let's just say: seen any Telstra country exchanges lately... there used to be a few PC desktops and base station set-ups, you were never allowed to touch, with ole CRT monitors. If they didn't look good, well, you knew it wasn't good. But they did a work horse load of technology.

  • BLShiv 💧Shiv 😷 (@BLShiv) reported

@BrowntownBrew @LordSoth123 From people I knew in Telstra, they weren't actively recording individual line conditions proactively. They waited until customers complained their service was shite. This data would have confirmed how poor the copper was and not in LNP interests of course.

  • raymond3020 Christopher Jarman (@raymond3020) reported

@RobMax4 half our suburb is FTTH and the other (including us) recycled the foxtel/telstra HFC cable. Constant drop outs. Our ISP tested their line/connections and said the cable in the old telstra pit was giving low signal. NBN said all good (even though they didnt physically check it)

  • jjgurnett Joe Gurnett (@jjgurnett) reported

@Telstra please can someone help me reactivate my service? I have been disconnect whilst abroad and cannot return to Australia and visit a store in person.

  • 1Tresors Tresors Antiques (@1Tresors) reported

@davidthodey ...CEO David Thodey Manager of Telstra Shop HQ, I dont want my behaviour managed. I want the service I pay for no more no less. Your online reviews say it all ! *

  • stuwasusp Stu (@stuwasusp) reported

@GrahamY You are a knuckle head, Howard insisted Abbott buy the copper back from Telstra and wrote in to future access to the national system contracts that the copper must be used. Everything was hobbled to slow the terrestrial internet down. Do some reading
