After 6 weeks of hell dealing with @telstra to swap from #foxtel to #telstra for our internet we were “absolutely promise” the service would commence last night. Rebooted modems this morning, guess what, still no Telstra 😡 - Your OS Callcentres are a joke. #australia

  • JohnnyLydon Johnny (@JohnnyLydon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

This is my 5th message this year advising nbn co is doing running repairs on the lnp’s botched nbn. “Hi from Telstra. NBN Co are performing network updates in your area on 3 June 2022. Your internet service may be interrupted” - meantime it’s buffering & disconnects galore

  • RJ_Howes Crowded_Howes ☣️ (@RJ_Howes) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I have rarely received scam calls. Interesting I am now getting multiple a day. Scam: I am calling about your Telstra internet. (I am with @Optus: not a recommendation btw) Rob: Did you say 'Telstar'? Scam: Telstra. It's an internet service provider. Rob: Oh is it?

  • rocky1622 Brian Humphries (@rocky1622) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Coalition is bunch wackos especially nationals have had 9 years get phones internet for country and now in paper today there giving Telstra a wack. Stupid

  • hutcho66 James Hutcheon (@hutcho66) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@taipan168 And Telstra only faces minimum service guarantees in a very small component of the business where they continue to hold assets that used to be owned by the government. That's shrinking over time as the NBN buys out the copper.

  • dagavah (-_-(^_^)-_-) just another david (variant 1963) (@dagavah) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Even tho I have an appointment the wait begins @Telstra customer service sucks. Not even attempting to concierge b

@Telstra @Optus @amaysimAU Yeah seems like your whole network is down across Melbourne at least just went to the shops they couldn’t use 5G 4G anything but Nbn seems okay sort of I mean for Nbn in the city yeah it’s out of the usual expected level of a yes. My mum always said.

  • stirlospace 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚘.𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚎 @𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜.𝗰𝗼𝗺 (@stirlospace) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Lol is @telstra down or just 💩 also if you thought @Optus was bad Now I know why my uncles phone always is broken don’t ever go near @amaysimAU unless you have more patience than mother Theresa and Dalai Lama. combined

  • marbledspout Felicity Waters (@marbledspout) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Shall I discuss invoices sent by Telstra without identifying which service I was paying for ? Or the self populating services I was paying Optus?

  • TimothyJ_23 Tim (@TimothyJ_23) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Nope. 4G. Just everything grinds to a halt. Slow to load at Halftime break. I understand load increases at those times when lots of people are on their phones but it seems telstra is the only network that really struggles here.

  • BillyFosterPics BILLY FOSTER PHOTOGRAPHY (@BillyFosterPics) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Teltsra @Telstra I’ve been put on hold seven separate times by seven different departments. Each time I’ve had to start from scratch and explain what’s happening over and over again. The customer service, and the language problems is absolutely abysmal.

  • Stacey_Murray_ Stacey Murray (@Stacey_Murray_) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Telstra has confirmed via phone that closest tower is offline. We have no internet in any form at all. Would like to know when it will be reinstated. Your website is not showing the outage.

  • daniel2509 Danial Smith (@daniel2509) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Thanks, but if the Samsung store is unable to resolve this issue in their store I don't think Telstra can. I will continue my discussions with Samsung and hopefully get a refund on this S22 and go back to an iPhone.

  • rocky1622 Brian Humphries (@rocky1622) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Don’t why Costello puts his nose RBA when he sold everything gas Telstra now look at country coalition made it cluster ****

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

BREAKING NEWS: @PRGuy17 is a Telstra customer. More news at 6.

  • TimothyJ_23 Tim (@TimothyJ_23) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I understand all that. I'd just think if the issue happens on telstra devices and not those on other networks maybe it's something to discuss with the venue. I know telcos work with venues on capacity boosting infrastructure hence my suggestion ☺

  • TimothyJ_23 Tim (@TimothyJ_23) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @telstra and @aamipark can u guys put your heads together and sort out reception load issues during events here? Optus and Vodafone seem fine. Telstra not so.

  • CorinnaWho CrinDavey 🥂🚜🏇💎💉🦠 (@CorinnaWho) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@morrisperry Yes , appears to be the issue with @VodafoneAU , my work phones on @Telstra and no issue with it in regional areas

  • daniel2509 Danial Smith (@daniel2509) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I sent a request via the app but nothing so I took it straight to Samsung and it seems the video and multiple forum post is not enough for them to admit their s22 range has this issue. They want it sent for analysis and repair before considering a refund.

  • demon_dave Dave Dawson (@demon_dave) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Foxtel changed to Murdoch’s Foxtel last week because it was supposed to be easier and cheaper than going through @Telstra , what a massive mistake, they never answer phones they’re the most inept bunch of corporate lackeys this side of @amazon

@Aushiker It’s been impossible for customers to get to talk to a Telstra consultant for a while now.. gave up and switched telcos after 3 months of trying to get help to sort out an issue. It’s going to get worse?I remember when they used to call at random to check if I was happy!!

    **** Telstra

  • Bradthinks71 Bradthinks71 🇦🇺 🕯🐟 (@Bradthinks71) reported

I wouldn’t recommend going with @Telstra if you want any form of customer service. Chat has been taking about 30 minutes between each response (if you’re lucky) and when I called customer service they wanted me to use chat. Then agreed to do a call back which never happened.

  • yms_ym1 US President Elect Aaron Young (@yms_ym1) reported

@peter_adderton My guess would be that it's still using 4G, but claiming it's 5G, just like @Telstra claims I have 5G in my area (and I have 5G on my plan) but I've never had it switch from 4G.

  • bradaus Brad (@bradaus) reported

@Telstra The Telstra app not displaying my prepaid info. ? Does anyone else have this problem?

  • TeaganLouise Teagan (@TeaganLouise) reported

@Telstra No reply to instant messages in over 3 hours. Was on hold on the ohoke for 45 minutes before rudely being disconnected. On hold again for now over an hour. I have **** I need to do and can't with nil access.

  • Inverleith Amber (@Inverleith) reported

Does customer service get any worse than @Telstra? NBN off AGAIN, no one answers chat or phone

  • MZaatar Mo Zaatar (@MZaatar) reported

@samywamy10 Transferred to Woolworth from Telstra (prepaid) Happened in less than 30m on Sunday. And very happy customer for 6 months now

  • benwpratt Ben Pratt (@benwpratt) reported

Hi @Telstra my phone regularly delivers voicemails hours after they land. I know you’ve only had about 12 months to equip your call centres to respond to “higher than usual call volumes” but any chance I might actually be able to get a fix for this - rather than getting bounced?
