  • DavidTSimpson David Simpson (@DavidTSimpson) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I went into the store 2 weeks ago with the devices, the team there said they couldn’t help and put in a complaint for me and said someone would call me back. No call since then. I finally called a few days ago and was told a Telstra Plus representative would contact me.

  • CeagleChris Chris (@CeagleChris) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@murpharoo Must be a lot of saints out there who have never adversely commented on anyone else. Give Telstra a call and try and get something fixed, you will be saying worse than silly cow

  • CSHauteCouture Collezione Santina (@CSHauteCouture) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra you’re an absolute disgrace of a company. 165- 183 Regent St Redfern has had no signal on network for over 7 days. AGAIN we don’t want automated scripted responses. We want a reliable service so we can conduct our business. I’m having to stand in the street to get

  • expenman Scout (@expenman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ianbfarquhar I wasn’t part of the negotiations of course but heard that Telstra engineers found it hard to accept a rival source of expertise, took a ‘you’ll take what we give you’ attitude. I knew then that they’d have trouble with retail customer service, became an ABT person.

  • pat_norman Pat Norman (@pat_norman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@simonjourno Telstra, iPhone 12 Pro. Whatever their most expensive plan is but with some discount they were offering when the phone launches. Tbh it’s not worth the cost - 4G is still good. But doing a zoom meeting on the run with zero problems streaming and crystal clarity...pretty amazing

  • bansaldeepak01 deepak bansal (@bansaldeepak01) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Network s very bad in Sydney cbd. I am getting 3g most of the times and no internet connection at all. This s d worst service.

  • robbiejwood Robbie Wood (@robbiejwood) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@chileaus @EFTM It’s actually good value for the Telstra network plus the unlimited data banking. I noticed they stop selling the $10 per month 1G plan. My parents are still on it but looks like you can buy it as a new customer.

  • CSHauteCouture Collezione Santina (@CSHauteCouture) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I refuse to call your tech teams. They’re useless! Just like the service. This isn’t the first time. Sick of being told there is nothing wrong. Still no service inside buildings

  • DavidTSimpson David Simpson (@DavidTSimpson) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The Telstra Plus employee emailed me and basically said “not my problem” and that I’d have to go into the store. See my problem?

  • skylxrksays SKYLXRK.DNG (@skylxrksays) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Do I want to pay out $800 on my phone repayments early so I can stop struggling with the V*daf*ne network and switch back to Telstra for actual reception when and where I need it 🤨

  • BradleyWDeacon Bradley Deacon (MAISA)🇦🇺 (@BradleyWDeacon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Great service @Optus for my home Internet, it’s a massive improvement compared to what I experienced with @Telstra I can now connect less than 24 hours from placing order and saving $30 per month! #winwin

  • DavidTSimpson David Simpson (@DavidTSimpson) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your system and people are so frustrating. I’ve been trying to get a replacement on a faulty product for months and everyone I contact goes “It’s not my problem, try here” resulting in me going back and forth.

  • miracleboi Alex Dennis🏳️‍🌈🇦🇺 (@miracleboi) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra how incompetent can your staff be both in store and thru the message service in the app. Honestly this is why I absolutely hate dealing with them cause they don't read messages clearly and just rather give captured responses then provide actual answers!

  • fiiingers Fred (@fiiingers) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Foxtel No u r wrong.Kayo is far better and no ads. Besides if u use telstra foxtel when there is an issue foxtel says ring telstra, telstra says ring foxtel. Then when u cancel foxtel wonders why u are leaving Derh...

  • amasses Matthew Lewis (@amasses) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Thanks, but that doesn’t really help. Seems like mobile Internet has been crappy on the rail corridor the whole trip.

  • phazzles OnlyPhazz (@phazzles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Network connectivity at Mardi Gras is spotty at best @Telstra @Optus @VodafoneAU

  • ThLittleGeneral Michelle MacGregor 🐀 (@ThLittleGeneral) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Just for fun .... the “planned” outage doesn’t 4 last hours it lasts 4 days. So a town of roughly 200 people have no access to basic amenities as no access to online banking, Eftpos or getting cash out of the ATM. Pay for petrol drive 100ks to work? @Telstra #employmentkiller

  • shanon_p Shan (@shanon_p) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Had a credit promised on my @Telstra account as a resolution to a complaint. So naturally, I now need to make another complaint to get that credit applied. #justtelstrathingz

  • REDRAWRADIO RedRaw Radio (@REDRAWRADIO) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra do you go out of you to employ rude arrogant #sassholes at your #Unley store? The rolling of eyes when you ask a question, “are you ready now?” to a waiting customer, no manners or patience Are they #BasilFawlty ‘s offspring? @Optus is looking real good to transfer to

@Kathblue We signed up for Binge (there was a movie we wanted to watch for that is was only there) but only for the free period. We already have Netflix & Disney+ & with the new phones & car we can’t justify another streaming service. Telstra Box Office has plenty of moves to rent from $4

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Pfeiffs Mike Pfeiffer (@Pfeiffs) reported

@wheelyweb @fictillius @Telstra I've never once had an issue with speed or reliability of service overseas with either Optus or Vodafone. When roaming with someone on Telstra more often than not we were on the same networks (or indeed in some places - like Singapore - Optus performed better).

  • aristotle3031 aristotle303 (@aristotle3031) reported

@Telstra No reply from you help desk Glenn. If that’s your real name. I noticed you replied relatively quickly to my original tweet and that your help desk clearly doesn’t give a shxt. So I’ve concluded that your job is purely damage control for Telstra’s self preservation.

  • TREKZONEorg Trekzone. 🖖 (@TREKZONEorg) reported

.@Telstra - any reported issues with YouTube playback? I can’t load anything - but can refresh the home page and notifications. Mobile data only. Business internet fine.

  • Ellen80197994 Ellen (@Ellen80197994) reported

After a few days of no internet, I'm back beeches !! No thanks to telstra, fixed the problem myself .

  • StephanieKakos1 Stephanie Kakoschke ✳️ ✳️ ✳️ (@StephanieKakos1) reported

@just_plain_Rick @kentparktweet @VodafoneAU Aldi has good deals and uses Telstra network.

  • SkarletManuka Skarlet Sheep (@SkarletManuka) reported

@Telstra Alright thank you, sorry for the insult, I just dislike having like a million things to have to sign in to, I'll survive I think

  • rozohOCE Liam (@rozohOCE) reported

@Qu1ckdraw_ Sadly they provide better customer service than Telstra’s tech team

  • aristotle3031 aristotle303 (@aristotle3031) reported

@Telstra They haven’t bothered to respond at all. Maybe move some of your Twitter ‘damage control’ staff to the help desk. Telstra drained my 20GB of my data in 1 hr. From just browsing. Is this how you profit off people?

  • art_src artsrc (@art_src) reported

@IxatDnats @victorklineTNL The market ethos is pervasive. Vic Labor recently sold their land title office Telstra/Optus ran broadband down the same streets for "competition". I got FTTC NBN for 30 years later. In regional Australia my mum has unreliable FTTP, still. The insanity is wide and deep.

  • SkarletManuka Skarlet Sheep (@SkarletManuka) reported

@Telstra I know that ya steakhead, I just don't know why you changed it, never needed an account before
