    @rubin_angela I spent 13 hours on the Telstra app recently trying to resolve a problem. Each time I responded it took them about an hour to respond..... lucky I as at my desk working so could continue..... but UNACCEPTABLE. It wasn’t resolved even after that amount of time

    @rubin_angela When we built our new house it took Telstra 6 months to get the internet connected because they kept telling us it was an existing dwelling despite us giving them proof the old house was knocked down and we purchased the land and built a new one!

    @KayeJon32736745 @rubin_angela So why do people continue to do business with them is what puzzles me. There are so many many other companies that offer the same services better.. Many of which build their products on a Telstra platform but shield you from Telstra’s customer service..

    @rubin_angela Good luck. Can’t even call Telstra anymore without being redirected to the “more time efficient” messaging service. Meanwhile still waiting, 14hrs later, for a response from @Telstra

    @bullnala @rubin_angela Sadly not always. But if you keep tagging them daily they get around to you eventually. Ombudsman is a much quicker route plus you have the satisfaction of knowing Telstra get hit with a $500 admin fee for every complaint. I’ve found the TIO to be really helpful

    @rubin_angela Similar story. They promised me a refund so many times but never followed through. I gave up, my time is worth more than the refund. So bye bye Telstra!

    @rubin_angela @JaneCaro I gave up on Telstra, went with another provider since the initial set up 2.5 years ago I haven’t had to speak to them and the service hasn’t faulted. If I billed Telstra for the hours spent on the phone to them with issues it would have payed my annual bill with credit

    @rubin_angela I got rid of Telstra 12 months ago. Am now with @AussieBroadband and it's been Heaven. Not. One. Problem.

    @CGrandma55 @rubin_angela Even that doesn't work with Telstra. The senior managers in Australia who could fix things have no interest in even hearing from Australian customers about how abysmal their call centres are. BTW if you only spent an hour trying to get a simple answer, you did well.
