@acmadotgov I'd raise a complaint about HFC being unreliable these days but Telstra gave me a modem with 4G backup so that I don't notice. Nice workaround for nbn taking over old HFC infrastructure...

@Telstra told me they'd give me 100mbps d/l. Now I know that I'd never get that and itd max at like 80mbps but now they tell me they dont offer it to FTTN connections. Well how come I had FTTN 100mbps before you clowns. I understand how it works, just give me what you promised!

@Telstra Thanks Tori, yes it’s still a problem. Tried all normal troubleshooting with phone off, resets, etc. As sms works sometimes it seems more like a network thing, eg doesn’t like large photos (they’re not too large, just the same as I’ve texted for years).

@Telstra I am on the 6th or 7th customer ‘consultant’ going around in circles. Apparently I’m being put through to ‘sales’ to discuss how you can reconnect me to a new service after you disconnected me from the service I’ve been paying for on time every month for the last 12mths

@Telstra So you want to charge me more for my internet. How about provide a service where it doesn’t drop out all the time then you could justify an increase, #rippedoff

@woodoomoodo @Telstra Same thing happened to me. I spoke to chat all afternoon the other day to no avail. They tried to escalate me to IT and it was terrible. Got nowhere :/

@Telstra Look I dont want to insult you because you are trying to help, however I think I am going to just go to tpg or something because this is beyond a joke. Because their website shows 100mbps is available at my address.

Not only have I been with @Telstra over a number of years, never had an issue with getting a new phone, and now I’m asked to pay $1000 upfront because I can’t be trusted to pay the exact same amount I’ve been paying to you for the past 2 years???
