@theage Telstra customers are very unhappy for the most part. From a customer point of you it’s the worst company I’ve come across. And I mean it. I’m not just sounding off. Can she clean up Telstra & make it a friendly, helpful and efficient organisation from the customer perspective?

  • bwrigley BDubAus (@bwrigley) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Service became available again late yesterday afternoon.

  • yeoldeguildford Daniel Eastwood (@yeoldeguildford) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@geplusda Telstra doesn't work at the moment. I need to do something. I have been advised Aussie Broadband by a few people

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The message was sent and then I read it. The numbers should still be there. Are you telling a customer they’re using the customer support system wrong? But ok. I’ll do what you say and look at “my cases” and “reported faults” as you suggest. 1/2

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra So I should buy another service to replace a broken service I am already paying for? That sounds like a solid business model if you can pull it off.

  • bwrigley BDubAus (@bwrigley) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hey Telstra, what’s going on with the NBN services in Sydney Inner west? It’s been down for quite some time?? @Telstra #NBN

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

The technician came and my internet is still broken. There is an open fault ticket for the @nbn network team to fix the network tap in the pit at the front of the house. According to @Telstra, there is no ETA on the fix.

  • CorruptNSW Countess FrightBat ~ “The Evil One” ~ Нечистый (@CorruptNSW) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’ve just DM but I have no reference for that customer rep. I just hanged up angrily saying she could die if she can’t ring an ambulance. Mum is 86

  • alexanderswift Alexander Swift (@alexanderswift) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Data outage in the Sydney CBD (darling harbour)? #outage

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I know I’m writing in Twitter. I’m not a moron. But I’m reporting a problem in the Telstra app to you via Twitter. What’s your point? Are you trying to be obtuse?

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

And when I told the support person that the reference number has been obfuscated I got a reply with a reference number…….., obfuscated as well. What fresh hell is this, @Telstra ?

  • yeoldeguildford Daniel Eastwood (@yeoldeguildford) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hello, I am having a lot of trouble contacting you. I can't call, I can't reset my password on the app. I have had an outstanding fault for a month that you could not troubleshoot. I have a different internet provider now. Thanks for asking. Please terminate my Telstra internet

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Native 4G on my phone just got me 106 down and 18.7 up. I get nowhere near 25/5 with the backup feature of your modem.

  • MarkTossell Mark Tossell (@MarkTossell) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra service is hopeless. FOUR MONTHS and I STILL don’t have my work phone moved across to me after being told it was done. UNBELIEVABLE. I should move back to @VodafoneAU - their signal wasn’t great, but they looked after me.

  • CorruptNSW Countess FrightBat ~ “The Evil One” ~ Нечистый (@CorruptNSW) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

How good is @Telstra ! Couldn’t contact my Mum on Mother’s Day As they have disconnected her landline for the umpteenth time. She’s on the old copper network. She doesn’t use the internet or smartphones yet customer rep stated they need to speak to her. D’oh she can’t! #auspol

  • jkalbrechtsen janet albrechtsen (@jkalbrechtsen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Of all the companies I deal with @Telstra is by far far the worst. I was told I couldn’t query an unauthorised bill amount. Couldn’t speak with someone more senior. In other words F.. O….

  • yeoldeguildford Daniel Eastwood (@yeoldeguildford) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Guys I need a new internet provider. Been with Telstra forever but WiFi has been down for a month and they haven't fixed it. Any recommendations?

@chozari @BriarBush We left Telstra@our 1st KP address & had to come back at this address bc Optus doesn’t service our street.. services all the other streets around it but not this one … their service doesn’t suck anymore but it took 2-3mo to get the service up to speed! And lots of whinges here!

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’m trying to tell you your system is broken and you’re acting like I still have open tickets. There’s a number of other issues, but obfuscating the ref no and time frame numbers in an open chat string is a fail. Please acknowledge that.

  • FlyOpineMonkey Sir Darryl Adams (@FlyOpineMonkey) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia I would never expect to see anyone look at Telstra's horrible service system, and then set out to copy it but intentionally make it worse. But here we are. Related note: still no NBN connection in my new place...

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MickLMZR y'all doomed (@MickLMZR) reported

So not only have we not had home internet for 2 weeks, we've been constantly stuffed around by Telstra. NBN techs claimed we needed a new modem and there was a delay on that. On top of this the portable wifi modem we were given is now broken and we had to pay for that as well!

  • thejoshmaxwell Joshua Maxwell (@thejoshmaxwell) reported

Hey @Telstra you’re mandatory direct debit feature is stupid. Give people warning. Nothing like having your account wiped out without notice on the same day you need to shop and fill prescription.

  • Iannotannoyed Ian, not getting annoyed, much. (@Iannotannoyed) reported

@LennaLeprena Have a look at Telstra Boost. You pay up front for 12 months. Pay $200 for 150 gb and all texts, calls included. Plus about 20 o/s countries. Telstra network. Worth a look. On my second year now.

  • iMarkPhillips Mark Phillips (@iMarkPhillips) reported

And so the @telstra saga continues. Turns out Telstra's porting systems have been broken for 5-6 weeks according to their Porting Team. They also confirmed they never ported my number correctly 6 years ago. We konw that from last week but they still haven't 'fixed within 24..

  • zeppelinshermit The Hermit (@zeppelinshermit) reported

@Telstra Nope, your support team in this instance has now idea. They don’t read the previous messages and just “default to start”

  • davidhughan David Hughan (@davidhughan) reported

@Telstra Again, trying to be continue my business with you, yet you cannot even call back, when you say you will. Is it so hard to retain a customer? Signing up to the #NBN has been a 4 week process, and I am still in the starting gate!

  • LiamSmi51562612 Liam Smith (@LiamSmi51562612) reported

    @Telstra @Telstra I never said I asked.

  • bigfarkenmaxi Damo (@bigfarkenmaxi) reported

@Telstra So I take that as a ‘I dont want to help a long time customer upgrade like a new customer’ type of response then

  • Sculptmud Ms Benny Saunders (@Sculptmud) reported

@Madmanacrossth1 @LennaLeprena And unlike Telstra, if you have a problem you can call Aldi and actually get to speak to someone..

  • roverfront Roverfront (@roverfront) reported

@Telstra Putting a real human on your service help line would be a good start.
