@Telstra I can give you a heap of unsatisfied Telstra customers who have tried to get issues solved and your customer support has no idea what to do. Then your customers gave to look for others to help.

What disgraceful service @Telstra. Been in new house for more than 2 weeks. Only 4 days of NBN working. Told they would be here on Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Waited all day and then called Telstra to be told NBN will be back on Wednesday. Disgraceful.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

@JohnOSullivan36 @MichaelWestBiz @MichaelPascoe01 I was hacked this week by a Telstra scam. Thankfully my Bank locked my Acs but I have used the entire week changing drivers licence, Medicare ,etc. 2 x200 k trips to Phone Dr for cleaning. I knew I should hang up but they had every base covered. It has knocked my confidence.

@Telstra offered to upgrade my Internet. Apparently 5x the speed. Same cost. Same plan. Sounded like a good deal so I said yes. After about 5 pointless and painful discussions I shut down the process. I’m going to @Starlink with my 5G phones service for back up. They make it easy.

@MsMountebank Time to decimate overly generous executive pay. Again with #Origin, #Telstra, a known 'cheap' fix, with the impacts borne by customers. If they can't do their jobs don't pay them. Prices for both sectors ratcheted up regularly, even now during a cost of living crisis #auspol

BREAKING: Telstra is looking to Starlink as a backup solution for emergency communications. β€’ Following its nationwide outage, Telstra says Starlink satellite messaging could help people in areas without mobile coverage. β€’ Users would be able to text a friend or family member via Starlink, who could then call Australia's Triple Zero emergency service on their behalf. β€’ Direct texting to Triple Zero is not yet available. Starlink is becoming an increasingly important part of emergency connectivity in Australia.

Apparently of the 604 failed emergency calls on Telstra network, only 172 were successful. This raises a question whether these calls were made in Telstra only cells. If yes, this raises a possible use case for satellite, for roaming carriers to beam to these cells for emergency.

@Ausbobsmit he spends $7,000,000 each year + pus all his families holidays, internet, telstra bills, fuel, meals. and more. Not one cent from his own pocket. but he has the audacity to take from the poor and disabled

@LisaLemon09 Thats good, the last thing you need is issues with telstra network. We are so reliant on mobile coverage, for our phones.

@Telstra @Jess_H19 What's that going to prove? For the last couple of days my Internet has been useless. I have tried to do a speed test but your link wouldn't open! The service at present is intermittent. When it works it's fine. A speed test is only a snap shot. When it doesn't it doesn't.
